Serenity by the Sea - Destin Gulfgate 0705!

Condo 705 is newly remodeled and professionally decorated with all new wood plank tile throughout. The master bedroom features a king size bed with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Mexico. The on suite bathroom is completely redesigned with a custom walk in shower and updated vanity. The guest bedroom provides plenty of room for the family with two queen sizes beds. The attached bathroom offers a large tub, perfect for soaking after a day at the beach! The kitchen has new cabinets, stainless-steel appliances and granite countertops. A separate ice machine can be found in the wet bar to keep your drinks cool and your cooler full. Whether you are enjoying the private, 30’ beach front balcony or lounge on the couch watching the 65” flat screen TV, you are sure to feel relaxed and at home! Make sure to take advantage of the free beach service that is offered from March 1st till Thanksgiving (Beach service not available for monthly rentals). Once you step foot onto the sugar white sand – you’ll make it a yearly trip to enjoy the Emerald Coast! Condo does not have a landline phone and is non smoking.

You won't be disappointed ProsThe view is spectacular. All of the beds are comfortable with nice pillows, blankets and sheets. The kitchen has everything you need plus some extra. If you plan on cooking at all you won't be disappointed. There are nice plates, cups, pans, sharp knives, cooking utensils, and bowels. This is definitely a cooks kitchen. The ice maker in the wet bar is a game changer. It makes those perfect little cubes of ice. The Back Porch is within walking distance. ConsThe tub in the guest bath is very deep and requires a big step to get in. It wasn't a game changer for us but someone with mobility issues would have a problem. The toaster and I battled all week. It works but makes you work for every toast!

We stayed for 4 nights and didn’t want to leave. The kitchen has everything you could ever need! I love how clean the property is. The pool was a nice touch for our kids and having a bathroom right by was amazing. It was double red flags our whole trip but we still had a blast! I can’t recommend this condo enough! We will be back next year for a longer trip!

The unit is equipped with about everything a person could need for either a short visit or an extended stay. The furnishings are attractive and the recent upgrades made by the owner have added to the overall comfort. This is our 8th year in Unit 705 so it is obvious that we are more than pleased with our rental experience.

Fantastic Beach Vacation!

Right in the heart of Destin and all the activities and many restaurants nearby – many within walking distance. The property was just as pictured/described in the listing, and it was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The furniture was comfortable and the chairs and table on the balcony made for the perfect spot to relax with food and drinks in the mornings and for the gorgeous evening sunsets. One wonderful touch was the ice machine in the wet bar – I’ve never had that in any condo I’ve stayed in and it was just perfect for filling the cooler and having plenty of ice for drinks! We loved the beach set up and we very much enjoyed the complimentary happy hour that took place one evening during our stay. What a great surprise! We did not use the pool or fitness area, but they looked nice and well kept and we did see many people enjoying those amenities. It was very easy to get all our luggage in/out of the unit, as well, with easy parking and access to the elevators (MUCH easier and less time-consuming than with some of the high-rise condos we’ve stayed in around this area). Overall, this unit had everything we needed, and it was extremely clean and comfortable for our stay. Additionally, communication when we booked, prior to our arrival, and during our stay was extremely informative and every staff member we encountered at the property was kind and professional. I will definitely look to stay in this unit again and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking to stay in the area.

My wife and I have stayed in this unit on multiple prior occasions, so it is one of favorites. Downsides to this unit are that the master bed is unusually high off the ground, so not easily accessible. Moreover, the master bathroom lacks double vanity and a tub, so if that is important then something to consider. Overall, a very nice unit!

The two inch foam on top of mattress made it hard to get out of and roll to the center. Would have preferred to sleep with just the mattress cover and mattress. We turned the AC off and slept with the doors open . Cool and what a great feeling listening to the waves at night .
