Private hot tub with seasonal pellet smoker

When you enter you will immediately feel right at home. The multiple open spaces offer room for you to spread out and have plenty of cozy seating to spend quality time together. Central air will keep you cool in the summer and a gas fireplace for those cold winter nights after skiing. Lots of sunlight through the back. French doors leading to a back deck with a grill, hot tub and fire pit. A surround sound media room upstairs with wet bar comes fully equipped with mini fridge, ice maker and sink for easy clean up. The three season screened porch offers a peaceful respite to enjoy nature. Let the chef of the group prepare a nice home cooked meal with a fully functioning kitchen with all the pots, pans and utensils provided for you. The first floor has a master suite with a large soaking tub and separate shower. The second and third bedroom are also on the main level with the second full bathroom. The newly finished basement offers three additional bedrooms and a media/gaming area. This home gives everyone plenty of space to start and end the day. Finally, scale the small drop off behind the back yard and enjoy a short hike through the property’s 3 acres to Mill Brook.

Please be aware of the VRBO cancelation policy before booking. We understand that there is risk in booking early during these times. There is also risk in not booking early and not getting the dates and homes that you want. If the state of New Hampshire welcome travelers, than so do we. We will not give refunds outside of the stated refund policy due to discomfort or unwillingness/inability to follow quarantine guidelines for your state. Our home is very isolated and in our opinion, a safe way for families to travel and connect during these stressful times. We do offer a partial refund if you cancel on short notice, and we are able to rent the home for your dates to another family. Please be sure that your risk comfort aligns with this house rule.

Our host let us check-in 3 hours early and answered all questions in a timely manner! The house had everything we needed and everything was in working condition. The cleaning service needed to do a better job, certain things had clearly not been cleaned in a long time. We pre-washed any kitchen utensils needed before using them. Other than that it was prefect for our large group of skiers!

Great weekend away with family

Had a wonderful time with our family of 8 adults and 8 children, plenty of room for all to sleep, hang out, play games, and make big family meals. Very easy to get to, plus new and clean!

Fun Family Getaway

We rented Charlie and Sue’s cabin for Thanksgiving! Lots of room for a family to spread out with multiple common rooms to gather. Kitchen supplies were limited, only a few pots, pans, and knives, but we made do! Overall we had a great stay!

Fun ski weekend with friends

The sleeping arrangements and location were ideal for our group of three families with kids visiting NH for a ski weekend! The kitchen/family room was cozy and the basement was great for all the kids to sleep. The house has a lot of space for a large group.

Family ski weekend

We found plenty of room for all of us...kids aged 8-16 LOVED the basement with a bunk room and many video games and other entertainment including fuseball, basketball, and bowling/shufffleboard. Many enjoyed the hot tub as well after a full day of skiing and snowboarding. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of seating for meals as well as TV watching. Gave us a wonderful weekend for family bonding.

Great place

This place is very spacious and the communication with the owners is very good. There were a few things that were broken that the owner did mention. Only downside is the AC is a bit on the weaker side, we could not seem to keep the inside any lower than 80 degrees. Still, a very enjoyable stay and space.

A little Bit of Paradise!

More than you need! Clean, cozy, a walk to the water with fun on Kayak and Paddleboard. Large property for multiple people. It was a beautiful stay and hated to leave. We'll be back :-) Thank you for sharing your home away from home with Us!

Great house for large groups

We really enjoyed our stay the layout of the house was great for large group. Peaceful secluded spot yet right off the road and easy to get where you need to go. My only critique is to find a way to work on allowing for an earlier check-in even if the checkout needs to be earlier. 4 PM check in with a large group with kids makes it very difficult to get situated everyone fed and prepared for early morning activities the following day. Ideal would be at 2 PM check in 10 AM check out.

Fabulous & Convenient Family Getaway

We loved staying at Charlie and Sue's home with our kids and grandkids; 11 in all and more than enough space for us to enjoy. The home is just beautiful and Charlie was quickly responsive to our every need. The kids loved the media room AND the Pacman machine upstairs. They also had a blast with the basketball hoop game and the arcade game machine downstairs. The main floor was great for family meals playing games and just hanging out. The hot tub and fire pit were a bit hit as well. Lots of activities within 20 minutes of their home. We highly recommend staying in this beautiful home!

Sink into Relaxation!

We had such a fun escape with family friends! It was easy to sink into relaxation and enjoy the ease of the day without a set agenda. The versatile main level offered plenty of room for everyone to be together. The finished basement & 2nd floor provided bonus spaces for the kids’ escape (video games, movies, crafts…) We enjoyed a snowy walk exploring the neighborhood, home cooked meals, hot tub fun, fireplace relaxation, ice skating at Waterville Valley and shopping at the Tilton outlets. Owners are super accommodating and responsive. It’s important to them that their guests have a good time…which we did, and can’t wait to visit again!

Our 2nd annual September trip

We love this VRBO house fir so many reasons! First, the location is primo. Just a 1/4 of a mile From the best breakfast place in NH @ Benton’s Sugar Shack (be sure to ask for Cathy as your server … she’s amazing!). Also, the house is close to the lakes & mountains and just a short drive to both schools we play back-to-back soccer games against at Holderness and New Hampton. Next, it’s clean, comfortable, full of games (foos ball, pop-a-shot, shuffle, and classic arcade games, as well as a hot tub! Finally, the hosts are communicative and kind. We look forward to next year already! Five out of five stars fir everything!

Get your ack together

You could at least mow the yard. Buy some pot and pans, 1 flying pan that was burn, a very large pot isn’t cooking utensils. They’re outside grill lit like it hasn’t been clean for over a year and your hot tub is turned around backwards where the controllers are not next to the house the way it should be a People getting men in don’t kill themselves.

Fun family weekend

We had such a good time last year that we returned again this year for another weekend getaway. We visited with three families and had plenty of room for sleeping, cooking, playing games and watching movies. The house is new and clean and a wonderful place for friends or extended family to spend time together.
