My parents stayed here while we stayed in the Rio Mar resort. It was an awesome location that was easy walking to the resort and had better views that the hotel.

Perfect location with amazing views of the beach. I was on property for a conference and had easy access to the venue (a short walk away). I have zero complaints and would stay here again. My one issue (a power outage) was area wide and not within the host's control - so 5 stars!

Good stay

Pros - Good location, not crowded, beautiful view of the ocean. Host was very responsive to answer questions & help resolve problems. The inside is exactly as pictured & it is very close to resortCons - the hotel itself is very outdated. The elevator was not working for a decent amount of our trip (not the hosts fault just something to note) & There is not many close restraunts besides the ones in the resort

Great Stay

Condo was nice and as advertised and pictured in VRBO site. Porch overlooking pool & beach was fantastic and we spent a lot of time there. Only reason ratings are 4's instead of 5's is the building the condo is in. Surrounding property & grounds are great but building itself needs some work. There is a lot of visible water damage and discoloration on sides of building. Also, the elevator was spotty. Sometimes would work - sometimes would not. Last inspection is listed as 2017 - not cool. You can tell they are working on property though. Pool bathrooms looked new and are very nice - as are the pools themselves. All & all we had a great time and would go back. Hopefully some of what I mention will be taken care of.

great spot on the beach

They were great hosts. Very receptive. I actually had a lot of requests, more than I normally would, and they were very accommodating at responsive. I really appreciate all the effort. The location is perfect. Right on the beach. Property is cleaned and well maintained, but maybe a little older than I expected. Overall I was pleased and would return.

Location is amazing!!

Location is amazing with beautiful views, right on the beach. The beach front villa was perfect location in walking distance to the hotel. We were on a family trip, some family members stayed in the hotel and others stayed in the villa. It was about a 10 minute walk to hotel. The villa needs some updates, including the shower did not drain well. The front door needs repaired by the padlock, the wood on the door is broken. The host was fast responding with our questions. The location and view was incredible, would definitely recommend to anyone traveling to Puerto Rico.

Perfect place

It is a great property. Well stocked with everything plus beach chairs, umbrellas, pool noodles, etc. There wasn’t anything we needed. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. Good location, great pool and beach!

6 day stay was good at this property. However a number of things that I had planned to see and do were either closed or under renovation or just not in operation anymore. Very frustrating. Public beaches, such as loquillo, are very crowded and not clean

Beautiful view of the beach with a lovely balcony patio. Great location! The bathroom did not have a fan/window and the shower water did not get very hot, but other than that it is a convenient safe place with good value.

Great place to stay

I really love staying at this property. Everything was exactly as represented online. Even the amazing view of the ocean! And the access to the ocean and the pool was very easy. I hope to go back again!

Thanks for the beach chairs, cooler, snorkel, kitchen & bathroom supplies. The pools are fabulous and easy access to Wyndham resort.

Beautiful views

Villa was nice. We enjoyed coffee and breakfast on the balcony watching the world wake up. The pools and property are well maintained. The beach was just out the door. This is what you pay for when you stay in this villa. Location, location, location. We spent the majority of our time enjoying the outside amenities.We discovered a small water problem on check-in day and the owner was very quick to resolve the issue.Honestly, the villa could use some updating, which the owner may be working on. Looks like new flooring was recently installed. More comfortable seating for the balcony would make the view even more wonderful! The AC is great, and there are two TVs that we never turned on:) We had a nice stay in this villa.

Great location

The host was very responsive and the location is perfect. Ocean villas property needs some upkeep - getting a bit rundown . This apt has a futon not a proper couch - clean and neat. There is no washer dryer in unit .

Best way to Rio Grande

Unit was clean and as described. Loved the view on the beach and the quiet pool just down stairs. For more lively times head over to the hotel for the bars, dining, pool and casino. Make sure to stop at Walmart to stock up your kitchen as the shop at the hotel is outrageously expensive (8x Walmart for Madalla).

Perfect place for a relaxing girls' escape

My sister and i enjoyed our stay at this property very much. Finding the apartment the first night was a little tricky, as it was dark and raining when we arrived and the resort property is much larger than we expected. But in the morning when we saw the view from the balcony, it was totally worth it! (Website pictures didn't do it justice!) The apartment was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed, and the location was to die for. Would definitely stay again. The only thing that would have made our stay better would have been some sort of guest information packet or binder with a map of the resort complex, clearer instructions on parking and pool access, etc. We did receive the email with the PDF attachment but we found the wording on a few items slightly confusing (said we needed parking clicker to access "garage", when it was actually an outdoor lot; said we needed to obtain pool wristbands from "security or administration", which we couldn't find when we arrived at 7pm so we didn't even try to go in the pool until the next morning). That being said, once we figured out these minor things we absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave. That infinity pool with the view of the ocean was amazing!

great apartment ,Poor resort staff and pool service

the apartment was good to great(clean and comfortable) but overall Resort facilities need paint and maintenance work.Poor outside facilities. Most importantly the resort needs to improve personnel manners (specially Jose in pool service and Georgie in communication with rental people; very poor to hopeless .)When you rent you expect a clean room and a clean Exterior of the resort...building.and personell ...need help.
