Mod Pop-Art Pad in Silver Lake, Balcony with Park View

Step into a bright and boldly decorated pad, where every inch feels like an art installation dedicated to 1960s pop art. There's a large shaded balcony with a trio of sky lights that's perfect for watching sunsets or simply admiring the view of the park.

The neighborhood is safe, cute and everything is just down the street. New restaurants are popping up constantly, so great cuisine is everywhere!

Great stay for a couple in a very cool space. Host was super responsive and helpful. Apartment had everything we needed for a 5-nights in LA visiting our son. Neighborhood was cute, safe, and walkable. Coffee shops and Courage Bagels (the best bagels) nearby. Good wifi - I was able to do some remote work. Patio was lovely and big. A

Kari explained everything clearly and when I did have any questions, she responded immediately. The apartment was just as pictured and very comfortable. My only comment would be that absolutely no parking was available despite driving around the neighborhood. Recommend Uber.

The pop modern art accommodation in Silver Lake was great. We enjoyed our stay and found Kari to be a wonderful host. It was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. Plus the artistic flair was a bonus. Two things to note which we we were aware of when we rented it, but are important to highlight: 1) the bed is pushed in the corner, so if two people are sleeping in it, one person lacks a bedside table and has to crawl in, and 2) the bathroom is outside the main living area, which was fine for us, given the mild weather and temperatures during our stay, but could be a challenge in colder temps. All that being said, we’d rebook this accommodation without hesitation.

I want to let everyone know that this rental is great choice if you want to stay in the Silver Lake neighborhood of LA. It is the perfect size for 1 or 2 people who want to use this as home base for exploring LA or if you're in the area visiting family or friends. Kari was a wonderful and easy going host and her place is immaculate and has wonderful Warhol-esque, retro pop culture style. She provided toiletries for the shower, towels, coffee and tea with creamer, and everything you would need to fix a meal while there. This is one of best well appointed rentals that I have stayed in. The property is on a quiet street adjacent to a park and I loved hearing the kids playing there during their summer day camps. Night was comfortable and quiet with not a lot of noise coming from the park. The neighbors are calm and quiet. The home is about a 15 minute walk or 7 minute ride from Sunset Blvd. On street parking is available, but I do recommend a small vehicle if you choose to have one since the street is narrow. When I come back to LA, my wife and I will be staying here again!

I had a wonderful time at this place. It is clean, bright, with fun pop furniture and memorabilia. Kari the host thought of everything like, robes, slippers, iron, beach towels, Vornado fans (white noise) etc. The deck is huge and would be a great spot to have some friends or family over for a visit. I loved the big city park next door. Great for walking around the track. It is a great location in a really nice neighborhood with beautiful trees, flowers and friendly people. There are some great walkable coffee and breakfast & all day restaurants. Easy ride share.

Perfect sanctuary for recovery

This property is so cute, perfect for my surgery recovery! The balcony is huge and the room is so bright an airy. I felt completely safe with the locking double doors and security gate that lead to the space. There is a daycare below and the sounds of happy children was an added bonus! Everything you need for a tranquil vacation and central to everything!! Kari was also an amazing g and attentive host! I highly recommend!

This is a such a fun and comfortable spot! Everything was clean and the theming was very fun. The host was very kind and even did our laundry for us. The balcony is a really lovely. Guests should know that it's noisy on the balcony due to the nearby park (which I think hosts a summer camp), but I was blown away by how impressively soundproof the inside was! We could not hear a peep! You can see the Hollywood sign from the bathroom and we had some great sunset views. The walk to Sunset Blvd is very steep, but totally do-able, so bring good shoes. We would definitely stay again if we return to the area.

Mod clean, comfortable apartment with great porch

Found it meeting our needs to rest after spending entire days from 7 am to 10 pm with Family elsewhere… Given the cold temperatures during our stay we missed out on enjoying the lovely porch.

Fun Place in Great Neighborhood

Spent two nights at this great little spot nestled in one of the best parts of Silver Lake. The two room studio is on street level, facing the back of the building with a view of a local park. It's exceptionally clean with unique decor. Bed was comfy, kitchen seemed well stocked. A few things to keep in mind- the private bathroom is located between the studio and the deck so you have to go outside to reach it. The area is private and covered but something to keep in mind. Also there are several step ups and step downs so keep that in mind if make your way to the bathroom in the middle of the night. (There's also a mannequin standing outside the door which might cause a scare if you forget it is there!) Streets are narrow, parking is tight and hard to come by so keep that in mind.

Groovy times

Super cool apartment, everything was very accurately described in the listing, and Kari has fully committed to her theme. There were some plumbing issues in the building and Kari went above and beyond to ensure they didn't adversely affect our stay.

Awesome stay in LA

This place was so cute. I loved staying here. It was like a mini oasis. Didn’t want to go home. Perfect for 1 or 2. Had all your basic amenities. Amazing view from the back patio. Quiet neighborhood felt very safe. The owner is very friendly and responds quickly. Would love to stay here again if I’m ever back in LA
