COZY COTTAGE with a "Modern Farmhouse Flair"

This is one of the most unique lodging options you will find in Hocking Hills. We have dreamed of a "Modern Farmhouse Design" for some time and are finally making it a reality in 2020. This Cottage boasts an off white, board and batten exterior siding, medium brown rough sawn trim and black metal roof. The handrail is constructed with heavy timber handrails and rebar spindles to add to the industrial feel!

The interior walls are white square edge siding with beautiful douglas fir highlights. We added Sliding barn doors, heavy metal hardware and industrial lighting to give a modern yet cozy "farmhouse" feel. The great room has a beautiful corner wood burning fireplace. All of our porches are covered and we added an outdoor wood burning fireplace on the deck so you can cozy up to the fire with your special someone! Our deck also has a beautiful tile outdoor dining table and chairs along with a hot tub. You and your friends and family will also enjoy our outdoor fire pit and charcoal grill for delicious meals.

If you are looking for a secluded destination with almost all the amenities of home, you won't be disappointed with the Cozy Farmhouse Cottage!

The Cabin was awesome!! We enjoyed the hot tub the remote location was great for relaxing and enjoying nature. definitely recommend and will look to book with this host again.

Celebrated me & my boyfriends 6 year anniversary here. Never been to Hocking Hills before & to say the least, it did not disappoint. The cabin was super clean & the perfect stay for our trip! Definitely would recommend & definitely will be back!!

We loved the covered deck and outside fireplace. We were able to enjoy being outside even though it was raining. Nice space in a very private setting.Would stay here again!

This cabin was very clean and comfortable. The mattress in the bedroom was amazing. It’s close to Logan for dining or shopping needs and around 30 minutes to most popular hikes. I found the location to be convenient. I used the hot tub a lot and it was great.

We stayed for 3 nights. When we arrived it was dark outside, used the restroom to find the bathroom not very clean (pubic hair on the toilet seat & in the bathtub). We went to get food for our stay & left things like bread etc on the counter, we went inside after being on the deck to see a mouse on the counter trying to eat our food. It had gotten through a few items that we then had to throw away (very frustrating as food is expensive these days) & then had to clean up mouse droppings from the counter & hide the rest of the food in the car or fridge. The property was completely overgrown with weeds so much so we couldn't comfortably walk to the fire pit. The owner did have the cleaner come set out mouse traps at 10pm & it caught one that we then had to put outside on the deck. The hot tub was dirty & extremely noisy. The closet for towels was full of mouse droppings. It has great potential but needs more attention to maintaining the property. I'd also recommend leaving more than half a roll of paper towels & 1.5 rolls of toilet paper for guests.

Great weekend away in this cozy cabin! The cottage was in a great location, private, but still close enough to everything you may need. The cabin was clean and the seller was very communicative. Thanks for a great stay!

Great cabin and location. Lacking in the details. One of the beds in the loft had been slept in and not made, all of the deck furniture was grimy and we had to wipe it all down, including the grill, before we could use it. First impression when we pulled in was the high grass and weeds around the fire pit that should have been trimmed. The fire pit itself was so full of ashes that we never used it. After a couple of days we realized there was a musty smell coming from the bathroom closet that was locked and contained a washer and dryer. We did have a great stay, loved the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, but the finishing touches were lacking for the cost of the rental.

The peace and quiet, just what we needed. The cabin was very clean and cozy! Secluded but not too secluded that your a long drive from restaurant’s, stores and shopping. Would definitely recommend for a couples retreat!

Great Honeymoon Spot

Great place to relax and get away after our wedding! Definitely recommend coming here if you want to relax and enjoy nature. Hot tub was an awesome feature for this place.

Great Weekend Getaway

The cottage is perfect a weekend getaway. This was my 2nd time to the property and my wife and I have really enjoyed it. The fireplaces, hot tub, and proximity to the parks is wonderful.
