This cottage was built 100+ yrs ago. It was part of a large resort. Rich in character and rare to find, you have stumbled upon a gem. Nestled in a woods with beautiful private setting across the road from Glen Lake. Guests enjoy 50’ of private lakefront. The woods behind us is park property. Glen Arbor is within easy walking distance with its many shops and restaurants. Minutes from Sleeping Bear National Park. Stunning dunes, lots of hiking & biking trails close. Public tennis and racquetball courts are popular as well. The famous Empire beach is a 10 minute away. I think they boast “best sunset, but the sunrise on the large deck by the water is amazing as well. We are 30 minutes from Traverse City, 20 minutes from Interlochen performing center, 30 minutes to the Cherrybowl Drive in. The Crystal River kyak float drops into Glen Lake. The small kitchen has a pass through to a large table that easily seats 12. Lots of games and puzzles for your enjoyment. This area has become fairly popular for wine tourists. July boasts the Cherry Festival and Aug has the NW Michigan fair. Lastly the fall colors are so beautiful. So many activities around and yet it is also perfect to do nothing. You choose.
