Come scallop, fish or just relax and watch the sunsets from our pool!

Please make yourself at home in our beautiful slice of paradise on the Gulf of Mexico in Steinhatchee Florida. We offer two beautifully appointed one Bedroom, one bath condominiums#199 & #200 with a pass door between the two condos, at the mouth of the Steinhatchee River at Sunset Place Resort. Watch the most spectacular sunsets or watch your children swim in our pool from your private balcony. We offer both vehicle and boat trailer private parking. We are in the process of rebuilding our dock that was .destroyed in hurricane Idalia. The new marina , Steinhatchee Marina at Deadmans Bay, will dock your boat for the very reasonable rate of .75 cents per foot. Come scallop, fish or just relax!

We had a wonderful little getaway! This place is in a great location! We rented a boat at the marina and walked over the kids had a blast!

Great location and view!

A great place to stay! The property is clean and close to Sea Hag Marina. The view of the channel sunrise and sunset are great! Host is prompt with communication. Definitely a place to stay again.

Perfect weekend getaway

This was our first trip to Steinhatchee and this condo was right in the middle of town. Convenient to the boat ramp and everything we needed. Comfortable and well stocked. Perfect for a weekend away!

Relaxation sparkled with sunsets

Mark’s place is comfortable, beautifully furnished, equipped with everything you need and the river view is unmatched, especially at Sunset. We spent 5 nights and enjoyed a piece of Old Florida. The dockside restaurants across the street, Roy’s and Steinhatchee Marina, were great. Pool is lovely. Mark is an exceptionally responsive host. He and the staff at Sunset Place went above and beyond for us. We were very appreciative of the use of the boat slip for our stay. Perfect option for Great Loopers in need of a break off the boat. We would return for sure.

Stay in Condo #199

Upon entering the unit you are greeted with a view of the Gulf. The condo is nicely decorated with special touches like wall murals, mirror sketching and a relaxing colors. There are good restaurants across the street and next door. Office staff were friendly and helpful. Beautiful, nightly sunsets are viewed from the condo balcony. We enjoyed our time and would return.

Amazing sunsets!!!

This place was in the perfect location. It was clean and had everything we needed to feel at home. Our favorite part were the amazing sunset views from the balcony!!! We will be returning again!

Fishing Town with Old Florida feel

The condo was very clean, beautifully decorated and the best view of the inlet. I thoroughly enjoyed my mommy/daughter time since I only get to see my Mother 2-3 times a year. I would go back in a heart beat and bring my boat. Condo has its own dock with gate.
