Clarks Hill Lake house with private pool.

This beautiful rustic lake house property located on Clarks Hill Lake becomes a private oasis with a pool! The house is a dog-friendly, 3/2, 1500 sq. ft. home with a great layout that sleeps 5-7 comfortably, and includes a fully stocked kitchen. An expansive back deck overlooks the lake and has a small dock perfect for relaxing, fishing, or tying up a boat. Also includes kayak and hammock.

*The Army Corps of Engineers controls the level of the lake. We cannot determine whether it will be low, high or just right. Super low lake levels may impact your ability to dock a boat. Because it is out of our control, we cannot issue refunds due to lake levels.

The pool is cleaned weekly from March until October. The pool is not heated. While in full sun, people generally report its pretty cold until May. The cleaners require access to clean the pool each week. The cleaning takes approximately 1 hour. Booking acknowledges and allows cleaners to have access potentially during your stay. During the season, the pool is cleaned on Monday or Tuesday approximately midday.

The lake lodge interior will give you the warm and cozy feel of home. The primary bedroom has a queen bed, a tv, and an ensuite bathroom with a stand up shower. The second bedroom is perfect for teleworking with a desk and a queen bed. The “kid’s” room contains a twin over full bunk bed and twin trundle. The hall bath has a shower/tub combo.

The house has high speed WiFi, tvs with streaming apps (bring your own accounts) and an assortment of games and puzzles.

There are five steps to the front door, and eight steps off the back deck to the fire pit/pool area. The property is completely gated from the pool area to the back deck.

The house is dog friendly for house trained pups on flea and tick preventative who would enjoy a lake vacation. The property has a fully fenced yard (see photos for fence height at gates). To minimize allergens for other guests, we ask that you bring sheets or covers to cover any furniture that your dogs may come in contact with. The house includes two dog beds (one fluffy and one kuranda for outside) as well as a crate (sized for a medium dog) and two dog bowls for your use. Please do not leave dogs unattended unless crated. Please do not bring dogs who use indoor pee pads/litter boxes/etc.

Everything was what we expected. Good location to golf course. Fine food at Hickory Knob. Pool was great, but a little cool for this time of year. House was set up for all your needs. Plenty sitting room everywhere you went on property. Recommend highly.

We had a wonderful time! The home was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The pool was awesome (and the pool floaties were a great bonus)! Sunrises on the back deck were gorgeous, and the front yard was great for playing yard games. We rented a pontoon boat and were able to secure it to the dock without incident. The surrounding area is beautiful, although it was difficult to find dining options that were open outside of the weekend. Jes was a responsive host. Overall, a great place for a relaxing week!

This is our 2nd year coming to the lake house! We really enjoyed our time here. The weather was wishy washy but still left so much time to be in the pool and it was so blazing hot. We even went about 10 miles down the rd and picked blackberries. We definitely plan to go again next summer. Jes was great. She checked in about the pool because of the rain and sent someone to do another clean! If you’re looking for a place with a beautiful view and a private pool, this is where you want to be!

Perfect Getaway

We absolutely enjoyed our time at the lake house. The pool was amazing and the property was peaceful. My favorite part was floating in the pool looking up to the swaying tall trees! We definitely will be back!

Great Vacation

No complaints. Plenty chairs tables and necessities spread around the property! The pool was great. We had to skim the water a few times to remove leaves, flowers and such but it was nice. The boat dock was a good uphill hike for exercise but we’ll kept and stores our boat for seven days. We loved it! 5 stars

Very nice lake house in a quiet neighborhood. Indoor and outdoor space was perfect for the kids and adults. Pool was a great size and the water felt amazing. Lots of floats and noodles in the shed. Would definitely book this location again :)

Lake get away

This property was by far the best place we’ve ever stayed at. Wished that it would have been available for the next tournament but unfortunately it wasn’t, but it was a very well kept place. We will be trying to reserve it next year.

BASS High School Opens tournament

The home was very clean, in a quiet neighborhood, with access to a boat ramp near by. Of course we are here in January so we did not utilize the pool or the dock but they were very nice for a weekly summer vacation in the future. The host was very accommodating. The home had everything we needed for our stay.

Perfect home in quiet neighborhood

Relaxation

Great place to get away and relax. Property was clean. The host was nice and contacted me ahead of time to check if I still wanted to stay there because the water level of the lake was low. I had a good time and would stay there again.

Long weekend

The host was very pleasant and responsive. The home was very spacious and clean. The outdoor space was wonderful with lots of deck and seating. There is a great pool that it was too cool to us to take advantage of, but would be great in the summer. We would definitely stay again. The only caution is the walk to the lake would not be suitable for someone with mobility issues, but it was fine for us. We carried our kayaks down and back up.

This property has everything you need to get away and recharge. It is a cozy change of scenery. In the summer, the pool offers a relaxing bit of privacy and a place to wear out the kids. We have enjoyed exploring the nearby hiking trails and spending more time on the water.
