Bring your bags and escape to the West End of Galveston! This modern turnkey and newly renovated vacation home located in the Pirates’ Beach neighborhood offers vaulted ceilings with fresh natural lighting. The spacious centralized living area has a primary bedroom and en suite bathroom on one side with the guest rooms and bathroom on the other. With its large deck perfect for sunbathing and lounging, you can enjoy the outdoors anytime day or night. Enjoy time with friends and family in the downstairs area ready with charcoal grill and Ping-Pong table. Lounge in the hammocks or take a swing in the swinging bench. You have plenty of space for a relaxing getaway to the beach at the Pirates’ Bungalow. Just bring your swimsuits and enjoy all Galveston has to offer.

We offer almost everything you will need for a day at the beach, including a canopy tent, folding chairs, beach toys, boogie boards and a wagon to haul everything down to the sand. It is a quick 5 minute walk to get to the beach. We also provide beach towels to keep your packing to only the essentials. A refreshing spa-like outdoor shower downstairs will help you shake the sand and clean up before your evening activities.

To make sure you are fully rested for the next day of activities in the sun, we provide high quality and the softest bamboo linens and bedding, with brand new highly-rated memory foam mattresses on every bed. The updated bedrooms have room-darkening shades to give you a much needed break from a long day in the sun at the beach or in the bay.

The updated bathrooms are fully equipped with soft Turkish cotton towels, where you can take a relaxing shower with Paul Mitchell Tea Tree products, an aromatic line of botanical hair and body care products featuring natural tea tree extract.

The kitchen has brand new stainless steel appliances, and the essentials for cooking and entertaining. For those who start every morning with a cup of coffee, we offer a combination 12-cup carafe and K-cup coffee maker. Bring your favorite coffee grinds or K-cups. To stock up on groceries, there is a general store at the corner of the Pirates’ Beach entrance or a locally-owned Seven Seas Grocery just 4 miles away.

We do have three outdoor cameras, one in the carport, one in the driveway and one on the front door patio. This is for the security and protection of guests/hosts. There are no indoor cameras or recording devices.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The quick and easy access to the beach was one of the highlights. This bungalow had all the comforts of home. The kitchen was fully stocked, and it even had ziploc containers to store leftovers. It was a convenient distance from non-beach activities, and felt more secluded with a less crowded beach. The canopy, wagon, and beach chairs made our stay on the beach very comfortable. The house was clean, organized, and comfy. We would 100% return to this house.

Beautiful beach getaway

We wanted a few days of fun on the beach and some peace from our busy lives; this property fit the bill: the home was very welcoming and bright, so clean and had everything we needed. The beach was a minute away and it was so nice to be away from the crowded Seawall area and to be able to enjoy the air and sunset. Also, we were just a few miles from restaurants, fresh seafood and stores. Honestly, we didn’t want to leave.

Spring Break 2025 and 14th Birthday

Property was accurately listed. The only issue I needed help with was locking the front door. I received an immediate response with the tips on how to complete. We loved having three rooms so we each had our own place to claim as our own. It was a quiet neighborhood, although many houses were not in use during our timeframe. Would absolutely stay again!

Dream home

Wonderful stay! Hoping to be back soon! Everything you'll need and more. Clean and minimalist. Games galore. Great correspondence with host. Beach toys and a wagon that is perfect for a day at the beach. So many amenities. I would give it 100 stars if possible. I am not exaggerating!

Great stay

A great location to stay on the west end. Very clean property and the beds were so comfortable along with the pillows. I would definitely stay there again and would recommend it to anyone I know.

A solid house. Fantastic hosts!

I am not going talk much about the house - I rated it 5 stars - it met all my expectations. I just want to say that Jeff and Ashley are top tier owner/hosts. Helpful, quick to respond, and attentive. These are the people you want when you book a house. Not management companies running IKEA popups - real people who care about the house and experience their guests have.

Hubbys bday

We decided to head to the beach to celebrate my husband. The house was perfect for us and all our teens. Very close to beach. Roomy, comfy, well stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Definitely would stay again!

Pirates Bungalow

My wife and I booked this cute bungalow, as we were having our roof replaced in Houston. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Close to the beach, like a 2 block walk, so we got our beach walks in and had a great time. Had internet issues, but we were refunded for that. Relaxing and perfect!

Great communication, clean and kitchen had everything we needed to eat in. Just a few minute walk to the beach and place had plenty of beach toys, chairs, and tent to use. Loved the hammock and balcony sitting area- great place to enjoy a meal.

Beautiful, comfortable and well equipped Beachhouse at Pirates Beach

We enjoyed our stay at Jeff and Ashley’s Beachhouse. It was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Great outdoor space, including shaded area on the ground floor - loved the outdoor shower. I would recommend this house. 5 minute walk to the beach.

Amazing experience

I went with my wife and some friends as a weekend stay, and I could not be happier with the home. It was beautiful, great neighborhood and the beach was very close. A lot of extra amenities and effort than I have ever seen. Would absolutely book again!

Perfect property for our small group!

This was a lovely, clean and comfortable property in a quaint, quiet neighborhood with a VERY SHORT walk to the beach. We were in town for the Ironman 70.3 race in Galveston and it ended up being a great spot — about 15 minutes away from the race start. One pleasant surprise was the locked laundry room we had access to on the first floor, which was a perfect place to store our bikes so we didn’t have to cart them upstairs or keep them in the house, but they were still secure. The property also had lots of bonuses that we didn’t use — grill, ping pong table, beach chairs, toys— but they would be great for someone having a beach vacation with kids. The hammocks on the ground floor made for lots of relaxing out of the sun, and the sofa and beds were all quite comfortable. All in all, a great property in Pirates Beach!

Hidden Gem

If you are looking for the benefits of staying on the beach and being close to central Galveston, but a bit of seclusion and privacy for your family, this place is it. We enjoyed our time building memories before and after the beach at the multiple outdoor tables, chairs, swings and hammocks where we could comfortably dry off and enjoy snacks. The beach in walking distance feels private as the only people using it appear to be residents or renters of this small community and the shell selection was amazing throughout our 3 night stay. The home is well-equipped with a tent, chairs and beach toys galore so we thankfully didn’t need to pull out too much of our own items to then pack up at the end of the trip. Our family drove 15 minutes or so to Pleasure Pier area and spent an afternoon hanging out and shopping. Our kids were so glad to “get home to relax” after their excursion to the busier beach area. We cannot speak more highly of our hosts who checked in with us throughout the trip and were so accommodating in ensuring we had everything we needed to feel at home. We would highly recommend this place!

We have lived in the Houston area for almost 10 years, and we have been vacationing in Pirates Beach for many years. We had always dreamed of having a beach home in Galveston to enjoy with our family and friends, and now we are ecstatic to share our little slice of paradise with you.

The spacious deck, large outdoor spa-like shower, and abundance of windows providing brilliant light were amenities that we could not pass up.
