Located in the Mayor's prestigious Joseph Berry Subdivision near the heart of Downtown Detroit. This home is ideal for entertainers, artists, politicians and business executives. Family and freinds get together, weddings,honeymooners,etc.

Home offers convenience, scenery, and safety. Home is fenced all around and well lit. The cozy master's bedroom includes a jacuzzi/bath,large walk-in shower, a walk-in closet, large wall mounted HD TV, and a king sized bed.

The Space:
The main floor contains a large living room with an authentic fire place and large wall mounted HD TV. A formal dining room that can comfortably seat 12. An upgraded large kitchen with the following amenities. Double oven,stainless steel GE refridgarator,microwave, gas stove, cutlery, pots/pans, and additional dining area.

A half bath and double stairs leading to the second floor. The second floor has 4 bedrooms - including a masters bedroom, and three other bedrooms. Our balcony room which contains a queen sized bed; the queen room with a queen sized bed and sliding glass mirror; the double room with two queen sized beds.

Third floor aka "Penthouse" is only accessible for reservations of 8 or more persons. The Penthouse has a full bath, connected 5th and 6th bedroom. The 5th bedroom has a queen size bed, a futon and a single bed. The 6th bedroom has a full size bed and a single bed. ***For additional sleeping for large parties four camping beds are avaialble upon request.

Guest Access:
The entire home is available except for the office located on the first floor and the basement unit (accessible upon request for laundry services). There is absolutely no smoking allowed in the home and no barbecuing/grilling on the deck.

The driveway is able to comfortably fit 5 cars, and there is additional parking on the street in front of the home.

Owner/owner representative is readily available either by phone or in person.

Neighborhood Overview:

Guests staying at Frida's Cottage are neighbors to the mayor of Detroit. The neighborhood is quiet and safe and guests are just a few minutes away from all that Downtown Detroit has to offer. Including Cobo Center, Ford Field, GM World Headquarters, Casinos, Fox Theater, Restaurants, night clubs, Belle Isle, Detroit Peoples Mover, Grand Prix, Detroit River Walk, Hotels, etc.

Getting Around:

Uber, Lyft, different city cabs, City transportation are readily available. Frida's Cottage in down town Detroit is within close proximity to Jefferson and Woodward.

Other Things to Note:
*** Absolutely no smoking of any kind and no illegal substances in/on the property including the deck.

ii - ***No grilling on the deck - Frida's Cottage DOES NOT PROVIDE GRILL. If guests must grill, they must provide their own which can only be light and operational when placed on the concrete surface and NOT on the deck

iii - NO SHOES inside the home - Please take off your shoes at the door. We provide indoor socks that are placed inside the cane baskets by the front door for guest who who may need them. House shoes/indoor shoes are okay.

iv - ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES. Frida's Cottage is located in a historic and residential area with high level city official as neighbors

v - NO LOUD MUSIC, NO LOUD NOISE

vi - There is an additional $44.00 charge per person for all reservations above 6 people. Please note it is illegal to have additional persons not paid for at the time of reservations stay at Frida's Cottage.

vii - This is a high-security neighborhood with the Mayor, city officials and judges are all your neighbors. Police in unmarked cars constantly patrolling the neighborhood.

viii - This property surroundings is under constant camera survelliance and is being monitored.

ix - Pets are permitted with advance permission; $25 per pet per day; refundable security deposit of $100

x - During your stay at Frida's Cottage, owner/owner representatives reserve the right to visit the property and perform exterior maintenance at any time and if need be request tenants' permission to perform interior maintenance.

xi - All checkouts must be on or before 11:00 AM. Guest must pay an additional amount and inform host at time of booking if they plan on checking out after 11:00 AM. Check in begins at 5:00PM.
