LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!!!
Perfectly positioned in the heart of Lavaca and King Williams Historic Districts. Walking distance from Hemisfair Park and all things South Alamo St. Renovated with over $350,000 this home has all the luxuries you could want with a downtown home. Walk down the street to the Park to play baseball, basketball, playground, or Public Workout Stations. This home can sleep up to 8 people so you can split the costs among friends or families, PRIVATE GATE, PARKING, CHARGING STATION
Rent the golf cart (90$/night) for the optional experience. You can add the additional cost of renting the golf cart under "CLUB" on Vrbo.
We ask the guest to please not tamper move any furniture on the property or unplug or obstruct the exterior home cameras or there may be a charge of $50 plus in damages. We have 1 - camera over the main entry doorway, 1- camera facing the driveway toward the street, and 1 - camera at the back corner of the house facing the trash cans and street. We have NO cameras in the backyard area. These outdoor cameras are for security reasons. The pool and golf cart are not to be sat on or otherwise touched in any way.
Do not attempt to open the wine cooler as you may break the locking system If you wish to buy wine, send a message through the Vrbo platform and I will tell you where the key is to unlock it. Prices of bottles are on top of individual bottles. You will be charged for the wine through the Vrbo platform.
Early/Late check-in/Out is possible for an extra $25 for the first hour plus $15 every other hour. The reason is for the cleaning crew to be rescheduled or rushed causing an additional cost for cleaning. All extra costs will be charged through the Vrbo platform.

Work Trip

Work trip to San Antonio - Friends and Husband decided to come with and enjoy the weekend, so we got a house to stay together. Best decision ever. Johanne was wonderful - even when I had a website issue, while traveling, the day before the trip. The house was very comfortable, clean , nicely located. The neighborhood was quiet, no street noise, and the neighbors were friendly.

Great location near downtown. $5-8.00 Uber fee to get anywhere downtown. Leave your car parked at the house and avoid parking hassles and traffic. Comfortable house and nice neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful house, great location.

The property was exactly as it appeared in the pictures. It was very clean, and a quiet and enjoyable neighborhood. We enjoyed being able to walk to the riverwalk, but did elect to take the short drive instead due the summer heat. Johanne was easy to communicate with and very helpful during booking and throughout our stay. Highly recommend this house, and host, for anyone looking to visit San Antonio!

Friends and I stayed in San Antonio for 3 days and just loved the house. The amenities were great, everything we needed -plus, was available to us. Beds were comfortable, kitchen well stocked and TV easy to use. When we needed anything the hostess took care of it. We had a wonderful time!

Great location and cute house!

Walking distance to some great restaurants and areas. Great layout of bedrooms and kitchen area. Only thing I would mention for anyone traveling with group… There is only comfortable seating for 3 in living room area. It was fine for our group as we didn’t spend much time in living room and spent most time in kitchen and dinning room. The dining room only has 4 chairs but you can use little stool from bedroom and bench by window to fit 6. Would absolutely stay here again!

Awesome house - close to everthing

We loved our stay here. It was perfect for our family with adult kids. Justin was a great host and a super communicator. The house itself was everything we had hoped for. We found lots of great places to eat within easy walking distance including Labor St Cafe for breakfast and the Friendly Spot Ice House for an evening chill. The River Walk was an easy stroll, too. All in all, everyone in our party was beyond satisfied. If we're back in San Antonio again, this will be the first place we look up.

Family Weekend….

This is a great house for all ages. The proximity to downtown and the cost is incomparable. There are board games, a terminator game that my family competed against each other the whole weekend. The backyard has a cute setup for everyone to hang out. The kitchen & living area is open so everyone can enjoy. We will be attending the Spurs games this season and visiting family… so we will definitely back. We only had one very minor issue while we were there and the host answered immediately and was literally fixed within minutes.

Nice little place in an eclectic neighborhood

There are a lot of nice things about this property. It was very spacious for its size, and has expected modern amenities while retaining the charm of a historical home. They have a welcome video to explain how certain features of the home work which was nice. They were lacking some items such as hand soap in the master bath, and there wasn't anything to clean dishes with so we got some of our own supplies at the store, and they only left us 1 dishwasher cleaning tab. The video shows they have more stored, but that storage was locked. We mentioned the hand soap to the owner and they asked if there was hand soap in the guest bath, and we let them know that their was. The swim spa was ok, but it takes a lot of finesse and didn't really come with instructions. The buttons were very hard to push and operate, but the owner was very nice with walking us through what to do. The neighborhood is a mix of revitalized properties, and abandoned lots and houses. It's a combination of feeling safe, and unsafe at the same time if you are walking around the area at night. There is a cornerstore bodega nearby within walking distance and we enjoyed going their to get snacks and drinks. There are also several nice restaurants within walking distance as well. None of these things were a serious problem, I just like to be honest and thorough with the review. I doubt you would find a better house in the area for the price and we would definitely stay here again.

This house is picture perfect and should be in a magazine!! I will definitely be renting again! Location was perfect in a cute little neighborhood right next to everything downtown! The owner was super responsive when any questions came up! I highly recommend this cute house!

Worked well for us, could be cleaner

The house was "picked up" for us, but it was not clean. When we moved the trash can, we found food and popcorn kernals under it, as well as dust. When we sat on the floor in the living room area for yoga and games, the floor was disgusting, especially visibly under the couch that sits up off the floor. The bathroom also didn't feel as clean as it should be for being a shared space that should be fully disinfected for hygiene and health reasons. While soap and dishwasher were provided, there was nothing like a dish brush or any kitchen towels to use to hand wash dishes. The beds were comfortable, the master shower and closet were very nice. The kitchen space was sufficient and there was plenty of seating for our crew. Check in and check out process were as easy as can be. It was fun to have games available. House felt safe.

Great location, short walk to everything

We had a great time on our trip. We found the house was very convenient to the attractions for a family that doesn't mind walking. It's a very quiet residential street. You can hear the train in the distance but that didn't both us at all. The house was very nice and the host was communicative and accommodating.

Beware of non-contractual costs!!!

I was charged an additional fee on top of the amount I paid for the use of this property. The additional charge came because the owner and property manager stated they needed to hire an emergency pool cleaner to sanitize the spa pool before the next guest checked in. So there are zero instructions regarding “rental” of the spa pool and there is zero notice of an additional cost incurred when another tenant rents the property right after you. In essence, the owner and property management company made me financially responsible for their oversight and had the audacity to balk at the amount they had to pay for the pool cleaner when I personally had already spent well over eight times that amount. You as a tenant have zero idea if someone is booked after your departure so my advice is either to not “rent” the spa pool and beware of any other costs they inadvertently throw your way without you agreeing to them.

Good location but very dirty and not cleaned

We notified the host that we had a pet who required emergency care 3 days before the booking and could not leave the pet behind so the host was kind enough to change the dates for a small increased fee. The property was well located and convenient and the large hot tub pool which was available for an additional fee was fantastic and hot and ready for us. Check in was fine with a code given 1 hour prior but the door was a bit sticky. We entered the property late in the evening and the place was nice and well decorated but was obviously not cleaned. There was jam on the countertops, there was sticky purple substance leaked in the freezer, there was dried urine and stains around both toilets and on the bathroom floor, there were coffee grounds in the coffee machine and left over pods. Coffee had spilled all over the front of the cupboard and had not been cleaned up. Dishes were dirty and had dirt and lipstick and left over food. The utensils had left over dough and many of the containers had left over dough and food and were put back into the drawers. There were only three dishwashing pods and the dishwashing liquid was almost empty. There were no dishcloths. The white body towels had brown stains and were dirty. There was no laundry detergent and no cleaning supplies to clean the dishes while cooking or wash the towels. Dust was everywhere and there were left over st patrick day party items on the floor which were not swept up. There was only one extra roll of toilet paper and toilet paper was low and only two rolls for 7 people. There was no handwashing soap and only two small chunks of hard soap and a couple of travel size shampoo and conditioner. When contacting the host, they were responsive and said they would send a cleaner out the next morning but we had unpacked everything and I had to work on the one full day that we had there and did not want intrusion on our privacy. We paid extra for the pool, and an extra fee per person and it was incredibly expensive for two nights and one day stay and the quality and cleanliness was really lacking as well as the lack of supplies. Also unhappy about the video camera in the living room recording our entire visit in the living room and kitchen the whole time and the lack of privacy. We left the place cleaner than we found it but would not recommend staying here - the price and nickle and diming and lack of privacy and lack of cleanliness did not reflect in a positive experience.

Easy to find Great Location.

Great stay. Lay out was nice. Property was clean and owner was easy to get ahold of and address any questions to include food, drink, and what to see. The pool and golf cart were of great use to us to get in and out quick around the area.

Great stay-exactly as advertised

Our family went on our first trip to San Antonio and stayed here for a couple nights. We are a family of 5 and it was very comfortable for us. The owner did a very good job of updating a historic house. We all walked to the river walk from the house. It probably took a little over 10 minutes. It was very close to everything but in a quiet neighborhood that seemed like you weren’t in the middle of downtown. We used the swim spa at the end of each day to wind down and it was a very nice addition to our trip. The owner was very responsive and answered any questions very promptly. Definitely will look to stay here again on our next visit.

Great location!

So I made this my personal Vacation Home, and spent over a quarter million dollars in renovations to make it just to my liking, and now I'm sharing my home with you!
