Always a great stay!

The upgrades to the cabin are great! We loved the Golden Tee game and Hot tub on a rainy day. Immediate response by the host whenever we had a question! We always look forward to coming back.

This is our fourth year staying here, and it’s gotten more fun each stay! We just love this little cabin. Our host was very quick to respond when we had questions and the upgrades made this year were great!

Cute cabin and great fishing!

The property was very spacious for 6 people. The fishing was wonderful. The beach was the perfect place for young and old to have a good time! Would stay again!

Family Getaway

This was our second time staying at the Lazy Loon and we'll definitely be back! We felt right at home and spent lots of time enjoying the perfect deck, shade trees and gorgeous lake.

Perfect setting for family vacation.

Our second time staying here and once again - we had a great week! Love the cabin layout, setting and decor - add the deck, the yard and sandy beach and it is everything we needed for adults and toddler granddaughter. Lots of fun and good memories made!

Perfect getaway

We just wanted a stress free girls weekend getaway and we couldn’t have found a more perfect place! Beautiful place on the lake that we could relax in the hot tub or deck. We will definitely be coming back when we get a chance. I would also recommend it for a family vacation. It has everything you could need!

Great Location for a trip with kids

All one level cabin was nice for younger kids. Cabin offered a great view of the lake, short walk to a sandy beach that was shallow for kids to swim. Fishing was really good, too! Only a short drive from Brainerd.

Another great stay at the Lazy Loon!

This is our third time in four years to stay at the Lazy Loon, and it won't be our last. Everything is great from the beds to the kitchen supplies to the AC. We love the sandy beach for our kids, and the private dock for our boat. Having it ~2 hours from the city and ~5 mins from Paul Bunyan Land just makes it perfect. Looking forward to next time!

Perfect family vacation setting

We loved our week at the Lazy Loon. Such a beautiful cabin and setting. The open kitchen area was perfect for our granddaughter to run around and play in. We enjoyed the comfy deck chairs and the sandy beach and walk in lake were perfect for our time on/near the water. The cabin was clean, well stocked and the beds were comfy. Liked it so much we are booked for next summer too!

Summer 2024 Stay

We stayed here in 2021 and liked it. Came back this year because we wanted to be someplace we knew would be good. The hosts made several improvements to the property and it continues to be a great place to stay and enjoy the lake.

Annual Family Getaway

This was our third year at the Lazy Loon. We love it here! Our only wish is that we could stay longer -- and more often. The property is just right for our annual family vacation. The deck is where we spent most of our time. The cabin owner is great too and has always been very responsive. We hope to be back again next year!

Beautiful cabin with an amazing view.

The hosts were wonderful, they called to make sure we had everything we needed. The kitchen was very well stocked. The deck was great with lots of comfortable seating which was a great spot to watch the loons. Sandy beach was a wonderful bonus as well. We will definitely be back.

Perfect cabin for a weekend getaway

This place was awesome and had all the amenities described. The view of the lake was gorgeous and was within steps of the patio door. We appreciated the hot tub and enjoyed it immensely. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you’d need to cook with. We also enjoyed the game room. The communication with the owner went smoothly and was fast. We will be back!

Lazy Loon Family Week

This property provided lots of opportunities for play and relaxation for our family. We were able to boat, paddleboard, bike, swim, grill, play yard games and even find a quiet reading place. Even with the unseasonably brisk winds off the lake, we really enjoyed our time at the Lazy Loon.

With the location of the property you can enjoy the peaceful outdoors with fishing, hiking , biking, snowmobiling, kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating and much more! Come enjoy our brand new hot tub with a lake view or you can cozy up to a beach side fire pit to enjoy s'mores and good stories! we are also now featuring a small game room to enjoy some indoor fun as well. Want to explore the area? no problem Just a 10 min drive to Brainerd or Crosby area! close enough to enjoy all the the Fun that the Brainerd lakes area has to offer but far enough out that you can enjoy the Peacefull up north!
