The host was outstanding in communication and checking in on us. It’s a cute little cottage very close to the water. It served as a nice homebase for us. During the few days we were in Brainerd. The beds were comfortable. The views from the cottage were gorgeous.

This was are first time using Vrbo and it was wonderful! The cabin exceded our expectations. Everything was clean, cozy and well stocked with anything we needed. The view of the lake from the deck was fantastic and wonderful to see and hear the loons in the evening. We would diffently suggest booking this cabin for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed using the provided canoe for a relaxing paddle around the bay area.

Beautiful lake house with kind and caring hosts. The property is just as described. We had the most amazing stay and the best time fishing. So many fish! Book without hesitation.

The boathouse was a great location for our minimoon. It’s close to restaurants, right on the water, and not far from the bigger lakes. The place was well furnished, with lots of seating options, a grill, a fire pit, and a new dock. It was very well stocked with paper products, dishwasher pods, and dishes.That said, the boathouse had a few rules that weren’t mentioned in the original listing: restrictions on dogs, canoes that are locked up and require a signature to use, and a deposit due at check-in. These logistical surprises added some unexpected bumps to our stay.We also found the place a bit underwhelming overall. The screens on the windows and patio door were broken, so we couldn’t open them for airflow. There were dead bugs on the walls. And it wasn’t made clear that the boathouse sits on the same property as a larger house, so we ended up quite close to a family renting that half of the place. Overall we had a great week but we probably wouldn’t return!

We sure enjoyed our stay. Very clean and well equipped with all the essential items. A very nice bottle of wine and a few snacks for my Grandson!! Loved the extra above and beyond!!We will stay here again when we are in the area!! Thank you!!
