What an amazing home! Truly a gem. We liked it so much we looked at properties in the area and quickly discovered that this was a unique home. We enjoyed fishing off the dock, kayaking on the lake, and slept so well in the super comfy beds! Hiking was very close by and there are many shops, whether you’re looking for more of a specialty organic store or a general grocery store.Kitchen was well appointed and the large coffee table in the living room was perfect for board games. Breakfast in the deck was a family favorite too! Really can’t say enough good about it! Also, owners were amazing to communicate with!!

Wonderful experience at the lodge! The views are breathtaking and the house exceeded expectations. So glad we stayed there, especially in the fall. It’s perfect for fall maximum and lots of great hiking nearby. Highly recommend!

Thanksgiving lodge was a truly blessed escape! If you’re looking for a place that is private, but convenient to local attractions, tucked away in nature, unbelievably well-appointed and kept wonderfully by the owners, this is it! With room for everyone, it offers multiple floors for gathering or privacy. The owners were truly so wonderful. They love their home and it shows throughout, from comfortable decor, to thoughtfully added accommodations. Once you step outside though, things only get better! A jaw-dropping view of the pristine lake, an incredible fire pit for all to gather around, and a wonderful dock to fish and swim from. It’s all there, and ready to help you make wonderful memories. We couldn’t take everything in outside, because it rained during our trip, but because the inside of the home is so wonderful, we were more than satisfied. This will be our go-to VRBO in the future. Thank you Kelly and Allen, for being such thoughtful hosts! Your home is a tremendous blessing.

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this mountain cabin! From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how peaceful and serene everything felt. The setting was picture-perfect. We spent our mornings on the back porch, having coffee with God, watching the sunrise over the calm water. It was a blessing to slow down and disconnect from the busy city life for a few days!The cabin itself was spotless and very well cared for. Everything felt fresh, comfortable, and thoughtfully set up, making it easy to relax right away. It had all the amenities that felt like home, without losing that cozy charm of a mountain lake house.One of the biggest highlights was the location. We were just a short drive from several beautiful waterfall hikes, which made it easy to explore during the day and come back to unwind by the lake in the evening.If you’re looking for a clean, peaceful escape with great access to nature, this cabin is hard to beat. We’d absolutely stay here again!

Perfect for Families!

Comfortably accommodated four adults and four kids (9-11yrs). The lake access, dock, rope swing and boats were a huge plus for all of us! We enjoyed playing in the water as much as we did gazing at its beauty from the house. Close to Brevard, but secluded too. Highly recommend! We loved it.

A wonderful house and quiet retreat

This was the second time we have stayed at the house. We take a family vacation every summer and this is the first time we have returned to a house and city because we loved it so much. The hosts are wonderful and responsive, there are lots of little touches to make the time spent more pleasant. We hope to go back every year and enjoy the Eason’s hospitality.

Indian Lake Stay

What a sweet little spot with a big view! Such a charming home and community. We fished on the lake, hiked to see as many falls as we could. Brevard is close by with cute shops and great food! We loved it all!

We are centrally located between Cashiers NC and Brevard NC with Sapphire Valley Ski Resort within a 20 minute drive. We have Dupont State Forest, Gorge State Forest, and several others with hiking trails, watering holes, and waterfalls galore all within a 30 minute drive from the cabin. We are a short distance from groceries, restaurants, and shopping. Our favorite place is downtown Brevard with the best restaurants and shopping, a beautiful 2 story library, Rockys ice cream, and of course the Co-ed movie theater that makes you feel like you have stepped back in time.
