Always Professionally Cleaned, Disinfected, and Absolutely Charming, 3 Bedroom Beach Cottage overlooking 1 of The Top 5 Inland Beaches in the Nation as well the 1st Blue Wave Certified beach in Wisconsin, which boasts 50 acres and 2,000 ft. of robust, vibrant and healthy shoreline. Food and entertainment is also provided during the summer months.

The Beach Cottage is made of historic cream city brick.. Enjoy breathtaking views, gorgeous sunrises, and luxurious accommodations. Steps from North Beach, the Racine Zoo, Downtown Racine, the Kid's Cove, marinas, and everything else the Racine area has to offer. The River's Bend Nature Center is also nearby. Perfect for couples, families, large groups, family reunions, or weddings.

Wonderful Vacation Stay!

Our family had the best time and we enjoyed our stay. They even have some beach equipment that wasn’t listed! We would highly recommend this place and hope to make it back soon.

Family togetherness

The property had everything we needed for a grat stay. Loved the location right next to the beach. Had great fun playing games and going out. I highly recommend Hobknob supper club or Brewpub both were so good! Thank for the great memories

Schreiber Clan gathering for Bruce

This is a quant restored beach theme property, right across from Racine's north beach. Very clean and new appliances. The décor is very nice and tasteful, lots of open space and very comfortable beds. One nice big bathroom downstairs and a smaller 1/2 bath upstairs. This could definitely be a party house for a large family gathering. We plan to come again.

Great stay in Racine!

We had an amazing time at The Beach Cottage in Racine. The property had beautiful views of the lake and there was a walking trail right across the street that I used every morning where I saw different views of the lake and some gorgeous birds. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with dishes, a coffee maker, plenty of storage for our groceries. We went to a Brewer’s game and had a wonderful time. Also visited Mar’s Cheese Castle and some great little artsy shops on Main Street. Gypsy Java coffee shop was super cute too! Don’t hesitate to book this property. It was one of our best family vacations to date!

Great lakeside property

We visited in the middle of winter and even though our stay started with a “roadblock” due to the extreme cold weather and snow, Kyle and Aaron were very prompt in fixing it for us. The property itself is absolutely gorgeous! It has all the amenities you need, PLENTY of supplies of linen, sheets, coffee - you name it! New appliances, great backyard (even thought we couldn’t enjoy it) The location is wonderful. We were there in the winter but we can’t wait to come back in the summer to enjoy the outdoors of this property and the lake and beach. Property is very close to all grocery stores, local restaurants etc. All in all, I would highly recommend this place

Great home by the beach!

This was a great house! The beds were really comfy. The owners had lots of games stocked and great beach chairs and beach toys. The coffee pot, blender, pitchers and storage containers were much appreciated. The house was well stocked with dishes, silverware and glasses. The only thing that was missing was a large skillet or griddle. The washer and dryer worked great and came in very handy. There was lots of great utensils for the grill, which we used most every night. We loved sitting on the front deck overlooking a beautiful view of Lake Michigan. And North beach was right across the street. It was so big and clean! The owner was very helpful when we had questions. When we got there the floors could have been a little cleaner and there was a broken drawer in the kitchen. The heat dry on the dishwasher didn’t seem to work, so we had to hand dry them. To be fair, we didn’t reach out to the owners about this during the stay. There may have been a solution. But overall it was a great house for us and the location was awesome!

The best VRBO we’ve ever stayed in

We have stayed in our share of VRBO properties over the years, and this is, by far, the most welcoming one we’ve ever stayed in. You will not believe the care that the hosts have put into this place to make it a great stay for children and adults alike. Parents of babies will appreciate the pack and play, baby gates, high chair and stroller. No need to pack anything for the beach; they have sand toys, multiple umbrellas and chairs, and to the delight of my boys, a football and soccer ball. Even the power strips placed near each bed have outlets and USB ports. Plenty of dishes, pots and pans, and a crock pot. No need to buy paper towels, toilet paper, even spices—it’s all here! The hosts sent me a wonderful welcome email with suggestions for dining and activities. I’m so glad they mentioned the nearby lighthouse. We happened to be here on one of the days that you can climb to the top! We also visited the zoo, a great local spot with fun experiences for all, fished at the marina, and of course spent plenty of time at the beach and kids cove playground. After our action packed days we enjoyed a fire and dinner at the table in the backyard. I cannot say enough great things. We will certainly be back. Thank you to Kyle and Aaron for an unforgettable family vacation!

Beautiful Nautical Themed Cottage

My family of 6 enjoyed this property which is steps away from the beach. The home is very well stocked with beach gear (towels, chairs, toys), kitchen items (plenty of dishes/towels/soaps), and bed/bathroom amenities. Although the home itself is older (100+ years) it has been restored in the places that count the most, yet, flashes of historic, charming features can be spotted throughout. The decor is well-thought and stunning. We had no problems with functional systems (plumbing/hvac). I am very particular with cleanliness and this was one of the cleanest rentals I have seen in the 7 years we've been renting. We even got to witness a gorgeous sunrise hovering over the lake! Kyle & Aaron are very responsive. The neighborhood is quiet (for a beachfront and street-front) with quick access to many necessities and entertainment. We would definitely stay in one of their properties again (due to our family size, we would just upgrade to a home with 2 full baths, which was not available at the time). Thank you Kyle & Aaron.

Great beachside stay

What a fantastic little beach house on Lake Michigan! Just steps from North Beach, this house had just about everything our little family needed. From beach toys to high chair, towels to wine glasses, we found that the house was well stocked. The proximity to the zoo and Racine was very convenient. We would happily stay here again.

Cute cottage in perfect location

Nicely decorated, clean and well stocked. Beach right out the front door. My family (ranging from 10-70) really enjoyed our stay. Kyle and Aaron were quick to respond with answers to our questions. Could use a little work on the front porch and outside chipped paint around window but inside was immaculate.. Might help guests to have a cheat sheet on quirks of the house (dishwasher switch, etc) too. All in all a wonderful stay and we have recommended cottage to others.

Amazing beach house!

We had a marvelous stay at this charming house. The beach theme is so tastefully done and the view of the lake just couldn’t be better. The hosts were so easy to communicate with and accommodating to a last minute request. Although we weren’t traveling with kids, it was impressive to see everything the owners had provided for families traveling. It was really a lovely, lovely home through and through. We hope to return someday!

Best Getaway

My daughter and I truly enjoyed our getaway. We were looking for a place close to our home state but near Lake Michigan and we found the perfect home. Kyle and Aaron were great host. The home has everything we needed. We were hoping the weather would have been better but Racine had lots of things to check out! We did get one awesome day on the lake!!! This is the cutest place!

Eight of us came here for a girls weekend and we had a great time! The house was clean, comfortable, and it easily accommodated our group. We made dinner one night in the beautiful kitchen, drank our coffees on the patio, and enjoyed our time at the beach. It really is the perfect location! It’s close to everything in Racine and the hosts were very helpful.

Awesome beach

Kyle was very prompt & accommodating whenever we needed anything. The beach is absolutely amazing, one of the best I've ever been to. The house was large enough for our family of 3 kids & 7 adults without feeling cramped. We will be back.

Beach Front Vacation

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the beautifully remodeled beach house. The location was fabulous. Just down the hill to a beautiful beach. In spite of the iffy weather we were able to spend time every day on the beach and the kids had a great time. We also visited the zoo and the lighthouse. Both definitely worth the time. The owner was very responsive to any questions I had so we were well prepared when we arrived. A lovely beach-themed home, great location and family fun made this a great vacation.

Lake Michigan Dream House

Our family has wanderlust and a love of private space, so we have rented properties all over the country. The Beach Cottage is one of our favorites, so far. The house has all the charm you could hope for in a 130+ year old home (and some of the quirks). However, Kyle and Aaron have made sure that it is updated enough to provide easy modern living. The commitment to the beach house theme is complete, with beachy colors on the wall and nautical accents everywhere, even the curtain rods. But it’s a restful space, not overdone. The location is perfect—directly across the street from Racine’s North Beach park, with gorgeous beach space, a fantastic playground, and good walks. The Racine Zoo is just down the street, you can see the Wind Point lighthouse from the house (including the upstairs master with a window overlooking the lake). It was 30 minutes to Grant Park in Milwaukee—with fantastic trails. Kyle and Aaron were excellent hosts. They provided lots of food and activity suggestions. They were responsive and engaged. In fact, when I wanted to enjoy some lakeside reading on a unexpectedly warm March day, they brought over the porch cushions in under an hour. In our communication, they mentioned that the house was “well-stocked.” In addition to ample towels, plates, glasses, etc; well-stocked also meant that there’s a stroller, a high chair, pack & play (with covers), roller beds, beach toys, and more. Our family of four was able to have lots of private space to spread out, but we could have been sharing the house with another couple or family and been good. We would come back in a heartbeat.
