One step inside “The Dover" and you'll think you've been transported overseas ~ from the European porcelain tile, to the White Cliffs décor, to the mosaic emberglow fireplace. Indulge yourselves with a touch of Continental elegance at this Beach Club haven for those extra-special occasions! This 2nd storey 1-bedroom condo is just a short stroll to the beach or steps away to resort-style amenities: heated pool, hot tub, Finnish sauna, fitness gym + more!

Have a special occasion to celebrate? An anniversary, a birthday, a triumph – just married(?) – or just plain need some sun, serenity and a glimpse of the sand and sea? Then treat yourselves to a getaway-from-it-all at "The Dover." Relax and view Whitecap Beach from the balcony or take a brief stroll from the condo to the water's edge, you'll feel refreshed and rejuvenated in no time. Sleep soundly on the plush Eurotop Queen-size bed. (TV in the bedroom, too.) When booking for 3, the living has a full-size sofa sleeper to accommodate the 3rd guest ~ adult, teen or child. And as far as all your Internet needs, the "Dover" is equipped with fast-speed Wifi, the latest Spectrum cable, and 2 smart TVs, so you won't need to skip a beat with remote work or online school, nor with your favorite programs. It's all here! In fact, you may never want to leave this one-of-a-kind marvelous Padre Island beach retreat! (((Please be advised that the Beach Club property does not have elevators in any of the buildings, and that "The Dover" is situated on the 2nd storey.)))

Please, NO PETS or EMOTIONAL SUPPORT ANIMALS: Our family has severe allergies and it is imperative that we keep our premises dog/cat dander-free. Folks with emotional support animals, regretfully, we must decline your inquiry to book due to this. Communication before we got there from our host was excellent. When we arrived at the place it was super clean, so welcoming and ready for our stay. Everything to make our stay relaxing and ready for us was above our expectations. We loved this place and are talking about coming back again.

This was my third time to stay at the Dover and once again I was extremely happy with my stay. The condo is always very clean and welcoming. The host provides everything you need and some other special things that just make the stay perfect. We always enjoy the beach which you can see from the condo and is walking distance if you choose. When not at the beach I enjoyed the pool which is always clean and refreshing.

Awesome stay at the Dover!

Beautifully redone condo with all the amenities you need!!! The area is peaceful and feels safe. We loved using the pool area and felt right at home. It was our 30th Anniversary trip and just what we needed to unwind. We didn't rent a golf cart but the people who did sure had fun.

Quiet retreat

Property is lovely and as advertised. Five stars for cleanliness. Kitchen had all we needed to cook meals. Property manager is easy to communicate with. Beach is within easy walking or driving distance.We had a quiet and restful stay.

Amazing experience

Home away from home

An immaculately clean condo, with a very well kept kitchen and all the amenities one might need. A very thoughtfully decorated home, welcoming couples and families to a beach retreat. Communication with the property manager was excellent. We enjoyed the location: fishing in the pond, walks along the beach and swimming in the pool. This shall be our holiday retreat. Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. God’s favor upon our welcoming hosts.

We enjoy returning to our favorite historic landmarks, especially in the highlands and islands of our beloved Scotland where we've hosted numerous tours. But closer to home, we now have a new favorite island to visit – North Padre Island of Corpus Christi, Texas.

Having been raised in Santa Monica, California, we are beach people to the core. There’s something about the beach that is restorative and relaxing – the sound of waves, the expanse of the sea, and its wind blowing sea air on the face, and even the sound of squawking seagulls. And for us, a strong presence of God and the display of His awesome power is ever present at the beach. It’s hard to describe. As Vrbo Premier hosts of this splendid condo by the sea we call "The Dover," we'd love for you to experience it all, too. Ahhh, for the simple beach life, we invite you!

この宿泊施設の特徴

We’ve named it the “Dover” because from the first step inside – and seeing those shiny white porcelain tile floors, the all-white bedspread, and white throughout– reminded us of the White Cliffs of Dover! We first set eyes on those all-white cliffs from a hovercraft while crossing the English Channel from Calais to Dover. And like that memorable Dover, the condo Dover it’s only a brief 5-minute walk to the beach or a 1-minute drive onto the sand. It’s an amazing place as the Youtube aerial video clip will show you.
