Please DO NOT stay here! This place has great potential and is a great sized unit with ample space, but the owner is not maintaining the property. 1000 Hills customer service tried very hard to accommodate, but, ultimately, this unit is awful and in need of serious maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep!! The main AC units cannot keep up and the portable units provided were covered in mildew & mold, broken tiles in the kitchen, severely worn, stained, & fraying carpet, shower drains that do not drain & backup, sinks that do not drain & backup, one fridge intermittently did not hold temp, roaches in the kitchen, mouse droppings in the drawers, and to top off our stay…bed bugs. We feel that the listing is misleading and does not represent its review rating and, as such, should be removed from rental status until the unit is returned back to a rentable status.

While the two adjoining cabins were perfect for the size of our group and the location to things we wanted to see and do, the overall experience wasn't great. The carpets are filthy dirty, shower in one cabin didn't get full water pressure due to wrong placement of handle, upstairs toilet chain kept coming off, refrigerator had standing water in it on the bottom, one porch was so dirty while the other was better, beds are way too soft, internet was spoty because things were unplugged, seems like we had to text the host for most things, not enough explanation in the book. We won't be staying here again.

Great location and very comfortable accomodations!

My best friend and I visited Branson with our kids for spring break and we were very happy with our connecting cabins. They were roomy, comfortable and conveniently located. The folks at Thousand Hills took care of all of our ticketing needs for local attractions and activites. We plan to return to Branson this summer and hope to stay in the same cabin(s).

Fireplace warm

Had a great stay. Nice to be able to be together and still have some space for alone time. The decor was perfect and the fireplace was just what was needed to get the chill out of the bones.

Peaceful property

Lovely setting in the woods but in the heart of Branson. The property is quaint and peaceful. We loved how the two cabins we rented were adjoining and perfect for our entire family ranging from great grandparents to newborn. We had a much needed relaxing and fun weekend.

I do not recommend this rental. The central air can’t keep up so there were several units in the cabin to help keep it cool. By 6 pm it was 80 degrees on the main floor and much hotter in the loft. We were unable to use the loft bed due to the heat so 2 people had to share a bed. It would get cooled back down on the main floor by 6 am but was always hot in the loft. We messaged the assistant (you get a text from thousand hills checking on you) and let them know the a/c wasn’t keeping up. There is also a sewer smell coming from the washer/laundry closet. They said they would send someone to check it out. We think they came and sprayed air freshener. Sewer smell was there the whole time we stayed. Dishwasher utensils basket was broken so every time you opened the dishwasher the utensils spilled out. There was mouse dropping in the utensil drawers. Ants in the kitchen each morning. We kept our food in the fridge and cooler to keep mice and ants out of it. Black stuff on the walls where a/c vents are. Floors were filthy. Wiped up a sticky spot by the fridge when we got there and the paper towel was black. All bathrooms are IN bedrooms so you have to wake people up to use the toilet/shower. Thick layers of dust on the decorations and thick cobwebs above kitchen cabinets. The pool is very small and one of our people walked by and said the gate was locked and needed a code. We just never even tried. The welcome book was missing pages. Hard to get WiFi info.

2 cabins put together as one the carpets in both were so dirty that we had to wear shoes till bedtime so I feet wouldn’t turn black from the stains in the carpet both main floor bedrooms were extremely hot if you shut the doors our tv in our bedroom didn’t work so we never got to watch tv in the bedroom we had a maintenance man come over to look at it he said we’ll need a new tv he also turned on our refrigerator and found the kitchen trash can and took pics of the floor grates that were busted the kitchen had no lights to speak of you couldn’t see in there at night there were like air conditioners in the living rooms downstairs but the upstairs and stairwells were hot we had light bulbs that didn’t work this place truly needs an overall from top to bottom even the furniture in both sides were either broken down were you sank in the sofas and the recliners didn’t recline plus had cigarette burns in one on the chairs the trim under the bottom kitchen cabinets was peeling off were it had been in water no I would not recommend this place to anyone until they fix theses extreme issues never again !!!

Please DO NOT stay here in summer unless you can tolerate the heat. Their ac units could not keep up at all, and the cabin only cooled to about 80 degrees downstairs; even hotter upstairs. With that being said, they did have ac units in all the bedrooms so they stayed nice and cool if you kept the doors closed. The beds were very comfy. All the bathrooms were in the bedrooms, so those sleeping on pull outs had to go into someone’s bedroom in the middle of the night which was inconvenient. The kitchen wasn’t adequately stocked. There were no pot holders, no dish towels, and limited utensils. Upon arrival, the refrigerator in one unit wasn’t working at all. The host offered us ice and replaced it 2 days later. The other fridge in the joining unit also stopped working and they sent someone out the next day. There were broken floor tiles, holes in walls, stained carpet, cobwebs and the overall cleanliness wasn’t up to par. The cabins needed a serious cleaning and maintenance. One small charcoal grill shared between about 10 cabins that was located down a steep hill. And I had a bat in my bedroom flying around on my last evening!!The staff was super friendly and helpful and as accommodating as could be. The owners need to overhaul all units, and stop bribing guests to give them a 5 star review, which is the only reason this resort has such high ratings imo. I felt very misled and just want to give an honest review for others considering this property.

solid rental... leaky refrigerator from freezer to shelves in fridge.Cooling system had trouble keeping up with heat outside. Volume control on bedroom tv didn't work. Great location... parking easy... I'd rent again

Property is in a very good location-quiet but close to attractions. Also decorated very nicely. Main problem was air conditioning could not keep up with weather--home was 85 at check in and didn't cool down until over 24 hours later. One shower was broken. Mold around upper vents and not as clean as I would like. Overall a good stay, if you don't mind loud, portable a/c units in every room. It's the only way to try to keep cool in a log cabin I suppose. There was plenty of room for our family gathering of 10 people.
