Perfect relaxing lake retreat for hosting a gathering. Quiet with no neighbors.

There is a peaceful easy feeling about this secluded point lot along the corridor of Lake Hartwell and Tugaloo river. Relax on one of multiple decks, or in the gazebo, and enjoy the scenery and abundant wildlife. Watch the fish leap as you sit on the deck drinking your morning coffee. In the summer months launch the kayaks from the floating dock and paddle up the lake or to Longnose Waterfall. Take your fishing rods and put your boat in at the boat slip at Stephens county recreation area and glide through the water back to the house and tie up at the floating walkway with your fresh catch.

Beautiful hiking and bike trails, wineries and waterfalls are all within easy access. There’s even a 9 hole golf course not far away. For you to enjoy we have 2 bikes, fishing rods, games of corn hole, jenga, or wooden ladder toss. There is also a large 15X6X6 inflatable dock platform that can be blown up and attached to our floating dock when water levels allow.
Surrounded by the sounds of nature, see how many different species of birds you can spot and admire the many constellations of stars that appear in the clear night skies. Enjoy eating your meals, perhaps grilled on the gas grill, while sitting on the deck, or in the gazebo, enjoying the natural beauty with s’mores cooked around the fire pit for dessert.

This divine lakeside location has capacity to sleep 14, featuring 4 full bathrooms and 4 bedrooms with queen bed in each. In addition one of the rooms includes a bunk bed with twin bed on bottom bunk and and a further single bed with a large flat screen SMART TV. In the basement en-suite bedroom there’s also a sofa bed that sleeps two and a TV. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets, and smoking is not allowed inside the house.

Our home has a fully equipped kitchen with a large pantry, an eat at kitchen island with stools, and all stainless steel appliances including a water/ice dispensing in freezer door. Also a double sided gas fireplace that leads into a large lounge with plenty of comfortable couches and armchairs. As well as a large flat screen SMART TV, we have internet so you can download your apps, and there is a desk with monitor and printer for those that need to keep up with the office while relaxing. There are two large sliding glass doors that lead out to the split level deck so you can enjoy breathtaking views of the lake from inside or out. If you choose to eat indoors there’s a beautiful long dining table with plenty of seating for those gatherings of friends and family, again with exceptional lake views for you to enjoy.

The games room has a full size pool table, with a flat screen SMART TV, so you can have your favorite show on while shooting pool and another gas fireplace you can light for those chilly evenings. Off of the games room is one of the four full bathrooms and a second kitchen that leads into the laundry room that accommodates a washer and dryer.

This jewel of a lake home is located one and a half hours north of Atlanta, 15 minutes from Toccoa where you can find a well stocked Ingles grocery store and a wide diverse choice of all the eating options you could need from fast food to fine dining. Beauty spots such as Toccoa Falls, Toccoa Falls College, Yonah Dam and Tallulah Falls, are minutes away with other shopping and sight seeing locations of Hartwell, Seneca, Clemson, Anderson, Helen and Walhalla within easy travel distance.
