Whilst property undoubtedly is in a spectacular location we did have issues that spoiled our stay and made the decision to check out a day early from our 5 day booking. Firstly on arrival (in extreme heat )the host tried to persuade us to accept an inferior accommodation as the aircon had broken in the one we booked , which was disappointing . This accomodation was unclean so we asked to have the accomodation we had booked which was lovely but we did have to suffer the extreme heat with no aircon having to keep windows and doors open resulting in being covered in mosquito bites. The following day we discovered that the batteries to the aircon had been removed so we had suffered unnecessarily as when we replaced them the aircon worked perfectly , which angered us.The elderly host seemed very nice initially but communication is difficult and maybe also is managing the property .We tried to ask her for a key to lock the main door that linked our apartment to hers and others accomodation but it was not available for some reason so we did feel uneasy about the fact anyone could have walked in at any time. The safe was broken we hoped batteries would resolve but sadly they did not so we had to carry valuables the whole time as we could not even lock the door . Two out of the four nights we were disturbed around midnight with people noisily using the pool which is just outside our bedroom , so all in all 3 bad nights sleep out of four . Host denied all of the above so no refund.

Je suis desolée de votre commentaire. Permettez moi cependant d'en rectifier certains points: A l'arrivée il est vrai qu'il y avait un petit probleme de planning et j'avais un appartement qui etait reservé deux fois sur 2 jours mais le locataire suivant hollandais avec sa femme et sa flle a gentiment accepté celui que vous avez soit disant trouvé sale et qui ne l'etait pas car nettoyé parle service d'entretien le matin meme. Depuis 15 ans que je loue par cette plateforme, c'est la premiere fois que je recois un monsieur si nerveux, fumeur , rigide et fermé! Son epouse par contre essayait de le calmer, elle etait souriante et ouverte. Ayant rejoint l'appartement reservé sur VRBO, l'air conditionné marchant mal que j'avais donné comme raison pour resoudre mon probleme de planning de 2 jours etait en realité parfaitement operationnel! La commande de l'appareil avait des piles faibles qu'a votre demande je vous ai changé immediatement Idem pour le safe. Vous avez voulu changer les piles vous meme au lieu de me le demander et vous n'avez pas su le faire. A votre depart je les ai changé moi meme et le safe marche parfaitement Je n'ai pas osé penetrer chez vous pour le faire sans que vous m'y invitiez. J'aurai du vous y pousser Par ailleurs, nous sommes en Espagne et les vacanciets ne suivent pas vos heures de repas 18 h pour le diner et 21 h pour l'endormissement, aussi vous avez pu entendre qqs personnes profitant de la piscine mais jamais apres 23h50, heure a laquelle j'eteinds .

Fantastic stay in Formentor - Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Formentor

We really enjoyed our stay. The location of the property and the view are fantastic. The walk to the beach is about 5 minutes. However, I would recommend a rental car as there are no shopping opportunities on the peninsula. Unfortunately, this part of the island, like the rest, has to contend with the exorbitant amounts of tourists, especially since a new huge hotel has been completed on the beach and the buses are unloading around 100 people on the beach every hour. Unfortunately we had to fight some insects during our stay. On the one hand we had to contend with a lot of mosquitoes the first few nights. If you consistently keep the windows closed and buy mosquito traps at the supermarket, you can sleep well at night. On the other hand, there were some ants in the kitchen and cockroaches in the bathroom. Ms. Chupin rents out several residential units. This means that several parties are present and use the public spaces. You can see very well into the apartment from the pool and this was done despite requests from some people, we had to close the curtains when we were in the apartment. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and Ms. Chupin was usually immediately available on site and asked about our well-being several times. We would recommend the apartment. We can also highly recommend the Eroski Center as a supermarket and Bike Island for bike rental in Pollenca We wish Ms. Chupin the best and thank you for her hospitality.

Appartamento in villa esclusiva a un passo da una delle spiagge più belle dell’isola

Appartamento ben rifinito e fornito (anche per il nostro bimbo di un anno e mezzo) all’interno di una villa con vista mozzafiato e piscina incantevole. Spazi comuni ben frequentati e mai affollati. Cecile sempre disponibile per ogni necessità.

Unvergesslicher Ausblick & ruhige Lage

Cecile war super nett, spricht Englisch und alles lief reibungslos. Die Wohnungen sind in einer Villa integriert mit eigenen Eingängen. Cecile hat uns die grössere ihrer Ferienwohnungen gegeben, da diese frei war, daher können wir diese Wohnung eigentlich nicht bewerten. Beide Wohnungen haben einen Zugang zur großen Terrasse mit großem Pool, in dem man durchaus schwimmen kann. Zur Lage ist zu sagen, dass der wunderschöne Strand Platja Formentor in ca. 5 Fußminuten erreichbar ist und wirklich toll ist. Außerdem kann man von dort super zu kleinen Wanderungen in Formentor starten, direkt zu Fuß oder man fährt mit dem Bus ab Platja Formentor. Theoretisch bräuchte man kein Auto aber wir waren froh, eins zu haben. An diesem Strand gibt es nur überteuertes Essen/Trinken und kein Supermarkt in nächster Nähe, daher war das Auto von Vorteil. Danke für die schöne Zeit Cecile, wir kommen gern wieder!

Tolle Unterkunft mit freundlicher Besitzerin

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in einem wunderschönen Haus. Die Besitzerin des Hauses wohnt selbst auch dort und ist äußerst hilfsbereit und freundlich. Alles war sauber und die Lage ist super.
