My First Less Than 5 Star Review
The Good is there is a lovely outdoor courtyard that we spent much of our time enjoying and the off street parking spot is great as well. The location is within easy walking or bike riding distance of the main attractions/beaches/restaurants/live music venues and nightlife.
The Less than Good is that there is not a single comfortable seat in the entire house. In general, the condition of the interior is not as advertised and the house is in a state of decline.
While the appliances worked great and the downstairs shower was great. The "sofa" you were to relax on while "enjoying TV that features Netflix" turned out to be a very small and uncomfortable piece of furniture that allowed you to see the TV that did have Netflix but no Cable Service. The two additional chairs were less comfortable than the "sofa".
The cleaning fee we paid was approx. 1.5x the norm for KW and only included one cleaning that occurred after your stay (every other rental we had in KW over the last 5 years had a mid-stay cleaning included). While not advertised in the add before our stay, the owner also apparently now expects the guest to launder all of the sheets and towels on the last morning of departure, but at the same time advertises all laundry being treated with very hot washes as part of Covid precautions.
Prior to our stay we were thinking this property would be a great place to return to annually. Suffice it to say we have changed our minds.
