Thanks for the great review. We agree that the location is perfect for walking and biking around Key West. The Beach at Fort Zachary Taylor is my absolute favorite beach in all of Key West. Please keep us in mind when you are ready to visit again in future. Sherri

This is not just a rental property but our home as well. We take great pride in this property and are honored to share it with those that visit. I am truly sorry that your stay was not up to your expectations. We have never had a complaint that the condo was not clean, as a matter of fact people normally comment on how clean the unit is. You never mentioned this during any of our conversations. The issue with the Air Conditioning was a direct result of you leaving the doors open with the AC unit running. I had explained to you that you need to keep the doors closed when the AC is on.... if you want to leave the doors open you need to turn the AC off. We were only made aware of the AC issue on one occasion. I was at the unit within 20 minutes (to find both sets of patio doors open and the AC running.) I had an AC Tech there within 45 minutes on a Saturday afternoon. He advised me that the unit was "Frozen" and this was a direct result of the doors being left open and the unit being left on. He even sent me some links to automatic shut offs that are compatible with the smart thermostat that I can install on the doors to avoid this issue in future. I was going to let this pass but.... we visited on 2 other occasions to check on things only to find the patio doors open and the AC still running. Both times we again explained that the AC must be turned off if you want to leave the doors open. The cleaners build us for 6 hours cleaning upon you departure (normally 2.5 hours is suffice) The cleaning company also sent me a list of stained linens with pictures (new sheets, bath towels, hand towels, kitchen towels, face cloths, pool towels, face cloths, etc. ) Thus the bill for damaged linens, and the AC unit has been passed on to you. To address the note about the stained bed sheet, there was a Duvet cover on the bed without a Duvet in it as this time of year it is very hot that is how we have dressed our beds for several years. I personally checked that Duvet Cover for wear prior to our departure prior to your arrival to the very best of my knowledge it was not stained if it had been there was a new one in the owners closet that would have be brought out. There were extra blankets in the closet on the shelf and in the Queen bedroom in the dresser. Just as a point of interest the last people in the condo were us so I am well aware of the condition of the condo upon your arrival. During our stay I had done my annual inspection of all of the bedding and linens and everything was in order upon our departure.

Glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay, I agree the condo is not large . We love the double French doors that allow us to expand our living area when the weather allows. We do service the bikes when we are in town and understand that they are not new bikes but hope that guests take advantage of them and enjoy seeing Key West like the locals.
