    Convenient location right in the middle of Bayeux. Very short walk to the pickup point for Normandy tours. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Would stay again.

    Excellent location and lovely stay

    A lovely place to stay, right in the centre of town but still very private and quiet. Friendly host, problem-free check-in, apartment as described. Would love to stay again!

    Lovely little apartment super nicely, decorated and just off the main street with loads of restaurants, etc. you do have to navigate some stairs to the door which opens to more stairs, which continue up to the apartment, but they are very manageable.

    Great location!

    Check in and out was very easy. Lockbox is easy-to-use, for Americans the door may be a bit of a challenge as it is one that requires use of door handle to disengage door bolts. Loved being able to leave key in lockbox while we were out. Really a great location for visiting Bayeux and the D-Day sights.

    The prime location was close to restaurants and the meeting spot for our Normandy tour. The apartment was well appointed and equipped, and we appreciated the full-size refrigerator. The host was very responsive to messages. The only downside is the steep uneven stairs leading into the unit, and two sets of steps in the unit you need to navigate to get to the bathroom from the bedroom. Also, note that free overnight parking is located about a 10 minute walk away.

    Great place to stay in central Bayeux

    This is a small but very pleasant property in the center of Bayeux. It is around the corner from a major shopping g street lined with restaurants and a short walk to both the Cathedral and the museum that houses the Bayeux tapestry. Perfect for 1 or 2 guests, the apartment is quiet and well stocked for every need. There is a short flight of narrow stairs at the entry so not suitable for the mobility impaired. Highly recommended and hope to stay here again.

    Cozy Apartment/Excellent Location

    Great choice for a Normandy vacation. Close to all WWII sites and easy drive to Mont St. Michel and Rouen. Parking and grocery within minutes. Would definitely stay here again.

    3 days stayed for base - perfect location - parked the car and walked to all sites -right next to location for tours - near grocery and bars and restaurant Apartment was nice, convenient and well stocked for us to make breakfast - good Wi-Fi - washer for laundry We were happy with this choice !

    Great Spot for Normandy

    The apartment was in a great location. Easy walking distance to see so much of Bayeux. Also, easy to get to the pick up locations for the tours. Would definitely consider here again when next in the area.

    My absolute favorite property of my entire European vacation! So quaint and quiet and clean and cute. It was classic European and right in the heart of everything. Only a 10 minute walk from the train station and a one minute walk from the main strip loved it! The owner was super kind and helpful and kept in touch with us along the way. Highly recommend this property!

    This was a great place for being able to walk to most attractions. The entry to the apartment was a bit tricky with steep stairs with door right at the top. The unit was very clean snd the owner was easily accessible and accommodating.

    Close and Convenient

    I absolutely loved the walkability of Bayeux. This apartment is in an excellent location - safe, quiet neighborhood, close to great restaurants, shops & major tourist sites. Parking was convenient. The apartment had all the equipment that we needed, especially appreciated the clothes washer. A note of caution for anyone with mobility or visual issues - the stairs are steep, the exterior door opens out and the exterior area leading to the street is poorly lit after dark.

    Perfect location!

    This home is located right in the city center, just around the corner from restaurants, shopping, grocery store as well as the Tapestry Museum and meeting place for tours. Merwyn communicated all necessary information and was available for questions. It was clean and cute and served our needs. I mistakenly assumed that there was parking on the property-free parking is located about a 10 minute, easy walk, but it took a lot of work for us to locate that. We were disappointed that the coffee maker didn’t work and that the teapot was not clean inside, but we used a pot to boil water. The refrigerator had to be turned on, but we didn’t realize that until the morning after putting our food in there. The shower head had a leak, so since there is only a half glass on the tub, the water was all over the floor. Luckily, I spotted a couple of spare towels in a storage bin. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well, but if you are over 6 ft, you may be too tall. We are 5’10” and 6’ and our feet touched the footboard. Lastly, if you have mobility issues, the stairs could be a challenge. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but we did have to figure out how to work around a few things!
