This is the ideal property, a joy to discover after a long drive to visit Bayeaux and Normandy, a perfect place to stay - close to the City (very close to the Bayeaux Tapestry museum and the cathedral), and yet easy to escape for tours of the Normandy beaches, the many D-day museums, and other cultural and gastronomic delights which the region offers. The property is hidden down a tiny lane and behind a nondescript wall; but it is modern and well appointed, cosy and with everything you need. Thoughtfully there are cycles, making the morning dash for croissants a pleasing wind-swept adventure. Your host - and we loved her artwork adorning the walls - is friendly and helpful and kept in good communication with us for both our arrival and departure. We loved Bayeaux and the region. We think one day we will visit once more. If we do, we know where we would like to stay - so if you are a family of 5 wanting to visit this historic region, try staying here if you can: you won't be disappointed.
