Pure comfort

This was once again the perfect rental for our needs. It is always clean, linenes and towels provided which releives some packing stress. And the Christmas decorations were so lovely. Another perfect stay

We have stayed at this property several times and it never disappoints. Always very clean, and the host is very kind and responsive. Great gated community, near all attractions but also quiet and peaceful. We visit twice a year and this is our go topropert.

Husband and Wife get away!!

I highly recommend this property, it was perfect! A great location, not far from just about anywhere you would want to go and visit. The home was decorated beautifully and it is so welcoming!! We will definitely pick this property again when we return.

Girl’s Weekend

We stayed for our annual girls weekend and had a very relaxing time. The pool was so convenient! We walked the safe neighborhood every single morning. The views are spectacular. We also enjoyed going out to dinner each evening. The house was perfect for our stay! Sylvia was a wonderful hostess. She checked in with us several times and provided great feedback. We would definitely stay here again!

Perfect!

We stayed at this property last year for a week and had such a wonderful experience that we decided to stay again this year. Our trip was wonderful yet again. There were 8 of us with ages ranging from 1 to 74. We all had plenty of space and were perfectly comfortable. Art & Sylvia responded quickly to any questions we had. We look forward to visiting again soon!

We frequent East TN as family relocated here. This is where will continue to stay, as it is not only convenient to family but very peaceful. Host is always accomodating and very kind. Rental is very clean, and well furnished.

Absolutely amazing hosts & property. Every comfort of home. Friendly communication too. We were a family of 4 with extra spaces we didnt even utilize. Amazing Home/Experience.

This was by far the most beautiful Vrbo property that we’ve visited! The customer service from the property owner was superb! She checked in with us often to be sure we weren’t in need of anything. Very friendly and made our experience personable. They provided all of your household needs and plus some! The beds were Very comfortable and clean. I would definitely book this property ten times over again! We accidentally left some pictures in the home and the owner went out of her way to mail them to us! I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area. There is nothing that I would change about booking this property. 10/10!!!!

Impressed!

My family and I enjoyed our stay tremendously! The house was exactly as described. The location was away from the holiday hustle and bustle but not too far to travel for shopping and dining. Mrs. Sylvia kept in touch and made sure we had everything we needed. She was awesome! Definitely would recommend as a relaxing getaway when in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg Tennessee!

Perfect Spot

This property was the perfect distance from all we wanted to do in the area. Close enough that we weren't traveling too much yet far enough away from the hustle and bustle of the tourist areas. The evenings were beautiful and quiet. Our host was very helpful when we had questions about anything. We would definitely choose to stay here if we plan to visit the area again.

Perfect Family Getaway

This house was perfect for two families with kids and grandparents to enjoy a nice vacation! Great Home and Location

The home is much bigger on the inside than it appears. We had 8 people stay, with lots of room. Directly across from the pool and clubhouse. The community was very welcoming of VRBO visitors. The location is convenient to Dollywood and other sites. Downtown Sevierville has a wonderful park with tennis, pickleball and a great swim/waterpark. The owners checked in periodically, by text. They were very accommodating. When we stayed they made sure there were plenty of supplies for laundry and washing. A great stay.

Just what we needed!

This property was just what our family of 4 needed! We appreciate a super clean rental and it was just that! We stayed on the top half of the rental and had plenty of space and comforts. The location was beautiful and away from the hustle and bustle of the areas many tourist attractions, yet still close enough for a quick run to the store. Although we were very active drove many miles each day doing a variety of different activities, we always looked forward to returning to this lovely house! Each evening our two boys would end their day in the pool or bike ride around the safe neighborhood! We felt like it was our own home, seemed to have the pool to ourselves often and enjoyed meeting some of the friendly neighbors on walks! Hats off to Sylvia and Art for excellent communication and help when we had questions! We already miss this place!

2023 family vacation

Excellent Sevierville Property

Property described perfectly. Loved having two floors with living space on each floor. Great for a set of grandparents and two families with kiddos. Nice furnishings and comfy beds and nice linens. Two nicely furnished decks with a fabulous sunset! Pool and gas grill right across street!!!! There is a shared dock on Lake Douglas. We rented a pontoon boat from Mountain Cove Marina and had a ball!! Marina staff and new pontoon boats! Beautiful and clean lake! 4 miles to a very nice grocery store called Food City. Reminded me of Publix in SC. On the Northeast side of Dollywood and about a 25 minute. Worked for us because we didn’t do Dollywood every day! I would highly recommend this property if you want to blend Dollywood, lake and pool! Very responsive owners!!!! Thank you Gasts!!!

Beautiful home with the cutest decor.

Loved our stay. House was very nice and new. Lemon decor was so cute throughout the house. We traveled to Sevierville, TN for a dance competition at the Sevierville Convention Center. The Convention center is close about 15 miles but with traffic, it took about 30 mins. House was perfect for two families. Each level of the house has a kitchen, washing machine and dryers. Stocked with paper towels, toilet paper, laundry detergent, new bath towels, beach towels, dish detergent,. Loved the hair dryer. I need to buy me a hair dryer like the Revlon that was there. Hot tub can only fit two adults. Club house with outdoor pool right across the road. Gas grill was nice to use. Owners were great. Sylvia was quick to respond to my text. Very nice and wanted to make sure we had a great time and had everything we needed. It did rain every day we were (Thunder storms). We still managed to rent a boat from Douglas Marina. Kids loved tubing and fishing from the boat. Only down fall, this area has lots of bugs and when you open the doors to come into the house, lots of bugs come in with you. Would love to stay here again in the future!!

Our family vacation was exactly what we had hoped for. Sylvia was great at communicating with us. The home was exactly as described and went above our expectations. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

Memories made!

Booking was easy with quick response from host! She answered all questions and then some! House was very spacious and CLEAN with everything we needed for a short weekend getaway! Beds were comfy, hot tub was great and it was nice so sit out on the deck and enjoy the sunset! Will definitely rent this house again when we make another trip to the area!. Thank you for a great stay!

Family fun

We had great time wish the pool was open for kids but over all we had amazing time we accidentally set the alarm but at least we knew it works I would stay again was so nice 👍

オーナー : Art and Sylvia Gast

Hi! We are Art and Sylvia Gast. We recently retired and fell in love with east Tennessee, the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Sevierville, Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. After living in Georgia for 33 years, we sold our 1893 Victorian home in Royston, Georgia that we lived in for 20 years after our four children grew up, got married and graduated from college. After looking for a year, we found our beautiful lakeside home, the Sanctuary, and closed on it end of November, 2020.

We have discovered a new passion in hiking! The thing we love most about hiking in the Smokies is the beauty of the four seasons. Not to mention the gorgeous scenery and the benefits of fresh air, sunshine and exercise!
