A Note About Nature

We share our tropical oasis with Mochi and Courly, our two friendly rescue dogs who enjoy gentle interactions with guests.

Our lush garden is also home to local wildlife including iguanas, parrots, squirrels, hummingbirds, and Tobago’s national bird, the Cocrico.

We strive to create a welcoming environment for both guests and the natural beauty around us. If you prefer accommodations without animals or nearby wildlife, this property may not be the ideal fit.

Great property and host. Property was nothing short of amazing, footsteps from the sea, beautiful pool, lovely landscaping and open spaces for family to relax together or in their own private space. Host did an amazing job of making us feel at home and went above and beyond.

Beautiful and Peaceful

Staying at this property was exactly what I was looking for. It was safe, quiet and serene. The view of the ocean was spectacular and the property grounds had natural beauty along with some friendly birds and lizards. This was the perfect getaway and our hosts, Chris and Ash were very responsive. Check in process was a breeze and the apartment was clean and spacious. I needed to rent a car and our hosts help with that too! I will certainly stay here again.

The host was so helpful, informative, and left great instruction on how to take care of the facilities and the amenities on the property, 12 seconds away from the beach, right out the back yard and if you didn’t want the beating of the waves, you can sit in a saltwater pool and just immerse yourself, I could go on, the place is a hidden gem.

Great apartment in a beautiful location

Ash and Chris were excellent hosts giving local advice. Provisions on arrival were a great help. Lovely pool and garden by the beach with good snorkelling, wildlife and colours from your balcony .. not forgetting Mochi the friendly dog with a smile! We had an excellent week and didn’t want to leave.

Thanks for a great stay!

Ashlee provided us early check in and upon check out allowed to stay at another apartment, these conveniences were whole heartedly accepted. The welcome gifts were by far much more than we could ask for, milk eggs, cheese, butter, bread etc all the amenities to keep you in the house. With the beach only a few footsteps away and the ocean rumbling on full blast from the large patio, it's easy to loose track of the time. We had an excellent and comfortable visit at this property and may now become one of my regular stays when in Tobago.

I stayed with my family ,so a two bedroom was needed. The property was in great condition and was exactly what we expected based on the pictures we saw. The host was very accomodating , allowing us to have a room long before checkin. We also received a welcome breakfast bag that was a great help. The facilities were well.maintained and upkept. Being a four apartment house, we liked that it could not be overcrowded especially in these covid times. I will definitely stay here again. The location was perfect in terms of proximity to main beaches and areas. Overall a very good experience

Perfectly Hidden Gem

Where do I start? Our host, Ashleigh and Krystian and baby James were nothing short of spectacular. Communication was amazing from the time of booking until the time of departure. Check-in was a breeze and a host even made arrangements for us to check in early. Advice of places for lunch breakfast and dinner or even provide us information in regard to doing any tours we would like. Our room was fantastic, one of the most beautiful views you can have, and the best part was that the infinity pool overlooked the beach. The house is set back from the road, which means there are no loud cars or people. This home is ultimate place for waves in a distance beautiful hummingbirds, an amazing swimming pool and lots of serenity. The host are very knowledgeable about where they live and provided us. very good tips. We had a very relaxing time staying at this home. The stand out about his home is it very private location that is also a beachfront property. We are also provided the items to make ourselves breakfast, which is perfect. The coffee was tasty, and the New Zealand cheddar cheese was fantastic on the bread. I cannot say enough, good things about this property and the hosts. Our visit here, was so good we even extended our stay an additional night. The location is within 20 minutes of the airport as well as delicious food. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip!!

Black Rock, Tobago is a coastal village on the island's western shore, offering a blend of natural beauty, rich history, and authentic everyday living.


Location & Accessibility
Situated approximately 6 km from Scarborough ( 15 mins drive) and 8 km from the A.N.R. Robinson International Airport ( 20 mins drive) , Black Rock is easily accessible yet retains a relaxing, laid-back environment.


Beaches & Nature
The area boasts stunning beaches like Great Courland Bay ( 30 footsteps from our pool) and Stonehaven Bay, ideal for swimming, snorkeling, and sunbathing. The area is also know from "One Pool" which is a natural formation due to the rock creating a natural pool that is always shallow.

Historical Significance
Fort Bennett, built in the 17th century by the Latvians ( Courlanders) , overlooks Grafton Beach and Courland Bay and offers panoramic views of the coastline.

Community & Culture
With a population of around 1,900, Black Rock is a close-knit community. The village celebrates its heritage and laid-back lifestyle. No one is in a hurry!
