Oceanfront Stunner Condo Over The Lagoon Garden! Hale Kona Kai 311

Ocean view over lagoon garden view from the lanai (balcony). You're so close that you'll hear the ocean and see the waves come sideways into the lagoon below. Enjoy seeing the fish and turtles swim in the lagoon and the lighthouse in the distance. You will see the dolphins in the bay all year round and see the whale in the season. The sounds of the sea will help you sleep after a day of sightseeing or relaxation.

Hale Kona Kai is an intimate, absolute oceanfront building of 39 one-bedroom condos. Located on the outskirts of Kona City, it is off the main road providing calm, ocean-view relaxation from every device. Located just south of Royal Kona Resort, fantastic dining at Huggo's or Don Beachcomber's is a two-minute walk away and other restaurants are just a fun stroll away. The white sand of Honl's Beach is less than a quarter-mile south and the Kona Farmer's Market half a mile north.

The complex offers an elevator that provides convenient access for all. On the ocean side, you'll find a heated saltwater swimming pool and a grill on the south end of the complex. There are laundry machines available on each level.

Each unit includes designated parking, safe WIFI, & cable TV. Both units, like Lanais, are non-smoking and Hale Kona Kai is non-smoking.

Great location. We found everything we needed in the condo. The coffee and treats were a nice surprise! We have stayed in several units at Hale Kona Kai and are never disappointed.

There is a very nice ocean view from the lanai. Many condos have a hodgepodge of mismatched kitchen items, it was a very nice surprise to have a fully equiped kitchen with very nice quality items, and thoughtful "left overs" of tea, spices, etc from prior guests. The property has assigned parking spots and an elevator to get the luggage upstairs easily. We really enjoyed being within easy walking distance to shopping and restaurants.

We loved our stay, there were so many thoughtful touches throughout. It was incredibly clean and the view from the balcony was stunning. I spent every morning on the balcony drinking coffee and watching the waves crash.

Fantastic amazing place!! Well stocked, adorable unit with an old Hawaii feel. Hubby and I were ready to move in lol. Condo unit has amazing sunset views and in a perfect location to walk everywhere.

We really enjoyed our 13 nights at the Hale Kona Kai. It is within walking distance of great restaurants and shops. I loved swimming in the salt water pool every evening and watching the sunset from the lanai. The condo is well stocked and clean. We hated to leave.

Beautiful spot

Beautiful condo unit with a terrific balcony overlooking the ocean. Kitchen was stocked with all the basics, closets had beach towels, chairs, and snorkeling gear. Two minute walk to downtown area. We'll be back!

Great views in this condo. The furnishings are different than the photos on the website, but still good. Only slight complaint was the strength of the A/C in the bedroom. Silly to complain about, but it was really strong where the bed is placed.

Clean and Beautiful

I thought the unit was very well maintained, especially for being located right on the water. I was able to find almost everything I could need right away. (Except the bedroom fan remote! I searched and only found it in the bedside table the day I was leaving). The views were awesome. We did stay near some pretty loud neighbors unfortunately, the walls / doors let you hear quite a bit that's happening out in the hall and other rooms.

Needs some updating

Towels and bed linens in linen closet were sour. One dish cloth and it was dour. We found dishes and pots in dishwasher. Ceiling in living room needs painted. Condo smelled musty and lacked air circulation even with fans running. Directions for operating TV would be helpful. Beautiful location on water and convenient to Ali Drive action. Nice pool but overall my wife and I found the condo complex lacked personal touch and warmth. Terri in office was very helpful and pleasant.

The location i as great, the condo was very clean and well stocked (except for dishwasher detergent and it was requested that we run dirty dishes thru the dishwasher before we left). The main we had and the reason for 3 stars was the lack of privacy. The curtains in the living room were sheer, so someone could see in at night (and no help with heat reduction during the afternoon). The screen shades on the lanai that would have provided some privacy from the side neighbors were not home hung or were inoperable. The front shade was also inoperable so there was a full view of barely dressed people getting massages right below the lanai. The kitchen smoke detector went off every time we cooked, so all doors had to be opened when we cooked.
