Magnificent country house, private garden and heated pool, 15 min from Deauville

Fully renovated beautiful historic Norman house from the XVIIIth century and its additional friends & family house, in a large landscaped garden of 4,500 sq ft enclosed by a hedge, with heated pool, 15 minutes away from Deauville and the sea by car and 5 minutes from the historic city center of Pont l'Eveque and the Barrière Golf course of Saint Julien.

The main house and its secondary house have been fully renovated with style while respecting the historic settings of the buildings.

The main house is equipped with high-end furnitures (roche-bobois) and equipments. It includes a large reception room (60 sq m2) with a fire place and a reverse air conditioning/heating system, a large kitchen totally renovated in 2023 (American style fridge and freezer, 3 Nespresso cofee machines, toaster, boiler, a large oven, micro wave, dish washing machine, reverse air conditioning/heating system), an office desk corner with Mac PC, three bedrooms, each having their own bathrooms, and a laundry room with a washing/drying machine.

The friends and family house includes two bedrooms and one bath room.

Wide TV screen with sound bar in the living room and smartTV in the master bedroom, blue ray-dvd player and wifi high debit network in the main house. Dvd player in the friends and family house.

The landscaped garden includes a sizable (4m x 8m) heated swimming pool with terraces, a large trampoline, a nice petanque ground, two Weber barbecues, full outdoor furnitures, sun bathing chairs, one outdoor bed and coffee tables dispatched in several terraces, next to the house and surrounding the swimming pool. Next to the house is a outdoor dining table for up to ten, various outdoor equipment are also available (buoys, bicycles, beach toys, Petanque balls, Badminton net and equipments, Footballs etc). Ideal to spend a beautiful family holiday or a holiday with friends in a high end property in a calm and preserved location just a few minutes away from the sea. Cleaning expenses of EUR 100 upon departure and local tax of EUR 2.30 per adult per night to be added. Possibility to hire our cleaning lady during the stay. English speaking host.

We had a fantastic week here and were made to feel very welcome by Laurent and Aurore, who were both full of lots of great tips about sights to see on the local area. The house is very well-equipped and nestled in a very pretty Normandy valley, with the interior, grounds and pool all excellent. We would gladly return!

Really good property in a quiet hamlet with a lot of land. We were a family of 4 staying for 9 nights and the location and facilities were idealThe owner Laurent was really responsive and helpful right from the start dealing immediately with any queries that we had and extending our initial booking.Aurore, the charming concierge, welcomed us on our arrival and was there for our departure. We would definitely recomment the property and take this opportunity to thank Laurent and Aurore.

Couldn’t ask for more!

We have just returned from a week stay and I can honestly say, this property is breathtaking! The house, the pool, the grounds - it’s absolutely lovely. We were a family of 7 with different aged children and there is so much to do and see. A highlight with kids was the nearby lake ‘ Le Lac’ only a 6 minute drive where we did water sports such as inflatables and paddle boards. Deauville is only 25 minutes and needs a day to explore as it’s absolutely gorgeous. Most importantly the host Laurent was on hand, very communicative and gave us great recommendations You must eat at La Galerie which is a stroll from the house and serves beautiful French cuisine. We’ll definitely return!

Beautiful house and pool.

We stayed for one week in August. This property is set in gorgeous grounds with a lovely outdoor heated pool. The garden is well maintained, large and private. It has a top of the range pizza oven which we loved and a Weber barbecue . The house is well furnished , the kitchen well equipped, with 3 double bedrooms all with en-suite facilities. The separate annex provides a further bedroom and shower room. We were very lucky with the weather, and spent a lot of time outside ,using the lovely heated pool. There are lots of pool/beach toys ,bike’s to use and a fabulous child’s bedroom with games galore. We had a few minor issues which were well addressed by the owner, and I feel confident he will rectify for the next guests. We visited Honfleur and Deauville , both of which were worth visiting - the beach in Deauville is lovely. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. We would absolutely stay again.

Fabulous house, ideal for families

Probably the best of many rentals I have had in France. A beautiful and very well equipped house with a fabulous pool in lovely grounds. An owner who really cares. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will return.
