2 Acre Oasis with Private Beach! Family and dog friendly!

Welcome to Paradise Point where you’ll be surrounded by sweeping water views. The Potomac River is on one side of the house and Blake Creek is on the other. In the middle of these two bodies of water is a private beach where you can relax, swim, fish and explore. You’ll see diving ospreys and soaring eagles as you sip your morning coffee or explore the creek by kayak. Our house is great for families, children and well-mannered dogs. As the (unfiltered) pictures show, the sunsets are absolutely spectacular! The expansive yard has a fire pit with Adirondack chairs and plenty of room to set up the cornhole boards. Behind the garage you’ll find a screened-in room that is a perfect spot for a crab feast, playing darts or just hanging out. This room is a great for kids and teenagers to hang out at night while the adults enjoy the cozy house. The pier on the river, as well as the platform on the back creek are yours to use. The boat lift is not part of the rental but you can tie up to any of the other pilings. Bring your fishing rods!!

This place was perfect for us. We wanted a private home with a yard and water access for our dogs to play. The location is great! We didn't see any ipeople the entire time we were there except people on boats and jet skis. The views from the house and yard are spectacular. The little private beach area was a dream come true. Just make sure you have bug spray. The flies were a little annoying, but we didn't let them ruin our time. The bird watching is great, too. We had 2 bald eagles in front of the house. The owner was extremely responsive to all my questions and messages. The only negative thing I can say is I don't own this property myself because I would love to live here!

Absolutely gorgeous location. House has been beautifully maintained. A few tiny quirks of an older house, but nothing inconvenient...you just know it's an older house under the surface, which isn't a big deal. Cosmetically gorgeous and great appliances. Very clean. A few mattresses could stand to be replaced, but others are lovely. I particularly enjoyed the bedroom with the king bed upstairs. We have family nearby, and I'm sure we'll rent again whenever possible. No need to look anywhere else.

Beautiful property and lovely host. We were down at St. Mary’s for a swim meet and the home was a wonderful break from the loud, hot pool! My son loved the private beach and is already asking when we can return.

Delightful family vacation spot

We loved the location beside the water and enjoyed the private quiet space. The kitchen had what we needed and the beds were comfortable. We kayaked and paddle boarded and got to watch the dolphins one evening. A great place!!!

A Perfect Waterfront RetreatStaying at this beautiful home was an unforgettable experience. Perfect getaway!

We had a wonderful time at this property. It had wonderful views, very private, and family friendly. The kitchen was well equipped, the beds were comfortable, there were games for the children, we enjoyed making s’mores at the fire pit, and the wildlife was so interesting to watch. I hope we will be able to return sometime.

This property is absolutely beautiful! The private beach is what sold us. Unfortunately we couldnt swim due to massive amount of jelly fish expecially on our first day. The following day, there wasn't as many but all got stung when we tried to swim.This is not the owners fault, definitely something I wish I knew could happen before booking as this is the main reason we wanted to stay here to swim and use the beach. We made the best of our trip using kayaks and playing games. They have a nice collection of games to use as well as corn hole. It was a terribly hot weekend so we did spend more time inside then we would have if we could have cooled off in the water. Overall is a beautiful house and location on the Potomac River

Relaxing Vacation

What a special place! The home was well-equipped, clean, and spacious. The view was spectacular! The property has everything needed for an enjoyable stay. We kayaked and paddle-boarded, watched dolphins, bald-eagles, and the most amazing sunsets. The beach was fun to explore (water shoes are helpful). Our family and dog loved our visit and hope to return!

Beautiful property allowing maximum decompression

Hidden gem…..while this home is perfect for families, my husband I used our stay to get away for a few days. So serene…just sat and overlooked the water, birds and the occasional boat sailing by. Our little dog loved chasing squirrels and bunnies. Lovely home with everything we needed. 💕

Best spot for a getaway

The host was very accommodating and responsive. The house was above anything you would expect. Beautiful pictures do not do it justice. My family and I had space and didn't feel like we were on top of one another. The beach area was so peaceful and just what the soul needed. Just an amazing place.

Perfection got even better

Our family of five and dog have stayed at paradise point many times and it never disappoints. Recent renovations have, amazingly, made one of our favorite places even better. I would say everyone should stay here, but that will make it harder for me to come back, so maybe not everyone, just those who want to relax in a beautiful location with extremely comfortable accommodations!

An AMAZING weekend away

We visited this property over the New Years weekend and had an amazing time. The property’s views are stunning and the home is spacious yet cozy. Our family of 8 fit perfectly and enjoyed our quality time together. The private beach was gorgeous. We enjoyed walking and taking pictures. Even with bad weather we could sit inside and still enjoy the breathtaking scenery. We definitely plan to visit this quiet, relaxing home again.

Great private location

The house was everything we could have asked for. I’m not sure who had more fun…the dogs or the humans. We prefer private locations and this did not disappoint. Communication with the owner was excellent. We visit the Chesapeake yearly and until now, we have sacrificed something to have the privacy we desire. This home had everything we needed and we are already discussing a return trip.
