Welcome to 4 Walnut Street, a classic Maine beach house located 50 paces from the entrance to Maine's famous 7 mile stretch of soft, rock-free, sandy beach, and only minutes walk to the heart of Old Orchard Beach.

A few highlights:

-- 5 bedrooms (1 queen and a twin on the 1st floor), 4 bedrooms upstairs (2 queen, 1 twin, and 1 king.

-- Bed linens:sheets pillowcases,blankets and bath towel are professionally laundered and beds will be made.There is a 500.0$ fee (50.0$ pp)

-- 1 3/4 and 1 1/2 bath on 1st floor, 1 full bath on the 2nd floor.

-- Fully equipped kitchen with proper pots/pans, dishes, appliances, and all you need for a real lobster dinner + a New propane grill. And yes, those are my grandmother's dishes but they go right into the dishwasher!

-- Lots of outdoor seating on the wrap-around porch, sun room dining area, and comfy living room.

-- Wifi, cable TV.

-- Parking for 5 cars in the paved driveway, one spot for each room

-- ceiling fans in all rooms for those occasional balmy nights.

-- 7 miles of flat, sandy, rock-free, town-cleaned beachfront awaits you just 30 seconds from your front door.

-- With lifeguard station #10 personally guarding your family.

-- Everything in Old Orchard is in reach: A Food market at Landry’s plaza is a 10 min walk with wash and fold service and w/d ,Post office and the iconic OOB Pier a 10 minute walk down the beach, casual restaurants of every type, plus 2 golf courses within 3 miles of the house and fishing charters from Pine Point just 2 miles away.

Additional Information:

BEDDING & BATH TOWELS:We offer professionally laundered bed sheets, pillowcases, and bath towel sets. You can add these to your reservation. Comforters, bed pillows, and extra blankets are included for each bed.

PAPER GOODS/STAPLES:We provide a start set of staple products including paper towels, toilet tissue, bath soaps, dish soap, and new kitchen sponges. Additional supplies are provided by the guests.

GRILL:Yes the property offers a BBQ grill operated by portable propane tanks that are provided.

PETS: Sorry, pets of any kind are not allowed on the property at any time.

CHECK-IN/OUT: Check-in is after 3:00pm and check-out is firmly at 10:00 am on your day of departure. We will coordinate with your arrival and meet you at the property.Check-out time is 10:00am on your day of departure for Covid cleaning.Late departures or early check-in is unavailable for the 2021 season.

We rented this beach house for a much needed family vacation. From the incredibly easy check-in to the check out, everything was wonderful! Alex, the host, stopped in to check on us, and told us a bit of the history of the house, which was cool to hear. The house had everything we wanted and needed from plates and pots and pans to a whole stack of beach chairs and toys to use!

Excellent cooking equipment. Owner responded immediately to a problem that she rectified right away to everybody's satisfaction. We enjoyed the proximity to the beach, and the porch and backyard furnishings worked well for our group of four adults and two kids. Beds weren't as comfortable as we had hoped and the living room is cramped and the seating wasn't very comfortable. But overall our stay was a success and I'd recommend this house.

Lovely Home, steps from a gorgeous beach!

Our experience was terrific! The house is big, charming, well stocked , clean, and comfortable ! Our Host, Alex is a warm, funny, generous Lady! The only slight downside is Simone noise from the train and trucks cleaning the beach.

Great Location, Plenty of Room

You can't beat how close you are to the beach! Plenty of space for everyone. My one complaint would be this road is a little noisy. The train goes by frequently at all hours of the night, and although it is a dead end, there tends to be a lot of traffic (walking and driving). The adults were fine, but some of this disrupted the kids sleeping. A fun week had by all.

OOB family vacation

Great time with family, making memories, only negative was issues with linen. Mid week exchange would have been better than having a huge heap of wet towels in the corner all week.

The only place to stay

We stayed for a fantastic week. The perfection started at check in. The owner and the property manager could not have been more accommodating. The property is perfect. The location is even better. Old Orchard Beach is a perfect getaway. Soft sandy beaches, great food and tons to do for everyone of any age. The house was perfect for the 10 of us. Plenty of room. 3 bathrooms no waiting. Seating for everyone. The beach is steps away, we set up our chairs and awning early and kept it there all day. Pirates Patio has great music streaming into your back yard. Parking was great plenty of room. We got 8 cars in! I don’t usually say this but this place was flawless

We truly enjoyed our stay. It had everything we were looking for. The beach is a very short walk away. With 3 kids it was very easy to go to the beach with chairs and towels a few snacks and drinks. Your all set .A short walk home for lunch and back to the beach. Palace Playland is a short walk for things to do when weather doesn’t cooperate. Plenty of parking. The house very easily accommodated 9 of us. Perfect place to spend a summer vacation and make lifelong memories.

New traditions.

This was a most comfortable house for us to be together, or drift apart from with ease. We didn't have to be joined atet hip and there was plenty of space for alone time in the midst of the day. It did surprise me how much we all stayed en masse and I think the shared experience of it all was what made this week so spectacular. The proximity to the beach couldn't have been any better. We quickly made a morning ritual of claiming our space on the beach once we woke and then chilling on the deck leisurely until the heat of the day made us declare for the water and sand. I totally luxuriated in that and for all the area offers, we spent more time on the beach and grilling than any of us imagined before we got there. The kitchen was more than adequately outfitted and the grill on the deck was seriously utilized. We even cooked lobster dinner one night. Everything we needed was there! Very rarely have I found a rental that had so many accruements! For us, the best thing was the ability for generations of our family to come together and enjoy just being together. Board games and feasting, beaching and night rides at the amusement park, birthday cake and sangrias, people watching and heartfelt conversations all wove their way in. We savored it all as this house held us in an easy embrace and welcome. In gratitude. We will be back.

fabulous location and house - highly recommended

My 2 children are home from college for the summer. We all absolutely loved everything about this house. From the proximity to the beach to the coziness of the house to the entertainment all around. I couldn’t be happier with the rental and hope to rent again next year. Perfect 😊

Beachy, Chic and Fabulous

I can’t say enough about this home. The house welcomes you in as soon as you walk through the front door. It is so inviting. My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time; the home literally sits steps away from the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The family consisted of my elderly parents and my brother and sister-in-law and their 5 girls. The front sunporch was perfect for sitting and having home cooked dinners and watching people walking to and from the beach. The Pier was walking distance for the kids to go enjoy the rides and cotton candy etc. The beach is one of the cleanest I have seen. I would highly recommend this lovely beach house and can’t wait to return next year. Kerri
