Beautiful beachfront vacation rental home. One bedroom condo rental on the first floor overlooking beautiful lagoon style swimming pools with direct entrance to the pools and boardwalk to the beach. Mayan Princess 105 is a recently updated beach condo with a King size bed, two bunk beds and a Queen size sofa sleeper. Full service kitchen with breakfast counter as well as tile flooring throughout this condominium. Accessibility to the beach and swimming pools couldn't be any easier. Drive 9 minutes north or south for a plethora of restaurant options and convenient amenities in Port Aransas or Corpus Christi. Mustang Island State Park is just 3.8 miles away.

Living Area

Mayan Princess 105 has been recently updated with beach decor, furniture, and appliances; including an in-unit washer and dryer. New digital cable televison in the living area, as well as, a sleeper sofa and window treatment to block out the morning sun for those late sleepers.

Kitchen & Dining

The kitchen has been equipped with a stainless steel appliance package, new kitchen amenities, and cookware so you'll feel right at home in this kitchen space. There is a dining table for four and two tall chairs at the breakfast bar to accommodate everyone.

Primary En-suite

Mayan Princess 105 primary en-suite features a spacious walk in shower, a comfortable king size bed, and cable television with convenient Netflix channel access. A perfect space to relax and unwind. Mayan Princess 105 sleeps 4 with the en-suite king bed, built in bunk beds off the living area, or sleeper sofa.

Outdoor Areas

As a guest at the Mayan Princess Condominium Resort, you'll enjoy access to several amenities, including an outdoor hot tub, private boardwalk, and three tropical pools (the deeper pool is open year-round and heated during the cooler months). Also available are water volleyball, a sand pit for beach volleyball, as well as a horseshoe pit.
All sporting items can be checked out and returned to the front desk.
Poolside BBQ pits and picnic tables are available on a first come basis.

Mayan Princess 105 is accessible from the parking lot on the North end of the building. This ground-level condo is accessible without the use of stairs

Cooking is NOT allowed on the patios or balconies. BBQ pits are located at the pool area.

Very nice condo

Everything was great. Building is a little out dated but the unit was very nice and tidy. Only problem we had was the not all pools were available as 2 were being repaired I assume. Resulting in no heated pool when this was a deciding factor when choosing this rental. Kids still swam but it sure was cold.

Great when not raining

Overall, I like this place; The amenities and access to beach are fantastic. Would of scored 4 or 5 except that there is significant water leak from ceiling during heavy rains. Appears to be from maybe poor sealing or draining from where upstairs patio meets edge of condo and the property management is well aware of the issue. When I went to talk to them about it, there were buckets catching water in lobby from all the leaks. I asked for partial refund/compensation since I had to mop water up off the floor after heavy rains and they said the would reach out after contacting owner. Never heard from them.

Relaxing Get Away

My wife and I stayed here for her birthday, which is on Mew Years Eve. We had stayed once before at the Mayan Princess but in a different unit. We LOVED this ground floor unit because of its convenience to the pool, hot tub, and beach without having to go down the elevator. The bed was super comfortable also. We had an issue understanding the Wi-Fi and bedroom tv the night we arrived. Within an hour of sending an email the property manger had someone there to help us get it straightened out. Awesome response. We will definitely want to stay here again.

Our vacation get away

We have never rented anything through this service before. It was very easy and we were very happy. The only problem we had was the sliding glass door to the patio was very hard to open and came off track. We had to call 3 times to get it fixed properly. Then it rained so hard and there was a leak in the living room. However we would use this service again.

Very nice condo!

My trip to Port Aransas and stay at the Mayan Princess got off to a rough start. On my drive down, I hit a deer causing extensive damage to my SUV and delaying my arrival until the second day of my rental period. However, I did end up enjoying my final 3 days at the condo, which was unit MP105. It was very nicely furnished/decorated. The shower was really huge and the bed quite comfortable. The fridge was also big and had both water and ice dispensers. The management staff was quite friendly and came by my condo to tell me my daughter had been trying to reach me when I was down at the beach. On a related note, cell phone service a bit of a challenge. I had none in the front part of my condo but did sometimes back in my bedroom! Although, usually I had to go out to the parking lot - the further away from the beach the better the service. Strangely, I have not had this problem staying at other condos in the area. Usually, I wouldn't mind that much, but with my car in a body shop 100 miles away and trying to file a claim with my insurance company, it was kind of a nuisance. I have only some other minor grievances. The electrical switches are rather oddly located. It took me most of the first day to figure out which switch turned on/off what lights, and that there were separate controllers for the ceiling fans. Also, I was not too happy with the location of my condo. It was on the first floor and the only one bedroom they had available. Other guests were frequently walking by on a footpath only a few feet from my back door as they went to and from the pool area. So obviously, I spent little time "relaxing" on my back patio. Finally, the Mayan Princess is about the farthest away from Port Aransas of the condos on Mustang Island, by about 3 or 4 miles. Port A is where the closest grocery store, restaurants, souvenir shops and gas stations can be found. Speaking of the pools, forgot to there are three of them! And I think the deepest area in any of them was 4 feet. So great place to relax with the the kids. There is a swim-up bar, but it never opened while I was there...maybe because of COVID. The wooden walkway to the beach from the pool area is fairly short - probably less than a hundred yards. The beach itself was in great shape with no seaweed or debris on it. Bottom line, I would definitely stay at the Mayan Princess again (this was my first time there), but I would definitely get a condo on the second floor or higher for my next stay.
