Welcome to Ursa Manor! This charming mountain cabin is perfect for families and groups, just a short 1/4-mile stroll to town for shops and dining.
The fully equipped kitchen offers ample counter space and a sit-down breakfast bar, while the bright living room features wood paneling, a brick fireplace with a wood stove insert, beamed ceilings, and a cozy dining area.
With 4 bedrooms and 1.75 baths, two bedrooms and a full bath are on the main level, and two spacious bedrooms with dormer windows and a second bath with shower are upstairs.
Relax on the sunny wrap-around deck, enjoy the new hot tub, or fire up the BBQ. The fenced yard provides plenty of room for your furry friends to play.
Combining comfort, convenience, and rustic charm, Ursa Manor is the perfect spot for your mountain escape!

PLEASE NOTE THE FOLLOWING IMPORTANT INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:

Streaming services are available, but guests must log in using their accounts.
This vacation rental is not equipped with air-conditioning.

-Cancellations: Bookings canceled at least 60 days before the start of the stay will receive a full refund, with a $150.00 cancellation charge. Bookings canceled at least 30 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund plus a $150.00 cancellation charge.
No Cancellations are Allowed for November, December, and January

- Pets: We do allow dogs, however, please note that there is a fee of $35 per dog per night. If you plan to bring more than one dog, you must obtain prior approval and additional fees may apply. When booking through selected third-party sites such as Airbnb, once your booking is confirmed, you will receive a payment request for the dog fee, which should be paid separately.

- Check-in instructions: Please check in at the main office.

Parking: Free parking is available for 3 vehicles (Seasonal Restrictions Apply; chains are recommended in winter, and 4X4 is HIGHLY Recommended).

- Outdoor lighting: Please note that outdoor lighting must comply with Riverside County regulations and must not blink, flash, or rotate. Guests will be held liable for any "light trespass" on surrounding properties.

- County permit number: 001946

- Rental agreement: Please review our rental agreement for our house rules. You will receive an emailed version to sign, but if you prefer other options, please inquire.

- Age restrictions: Due to the new County of Ordinance 927.2: We no longer accept reservations for anyone under 21 years of age.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.

- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.

- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Guests booking this home under the age of 25 years of age will provide an additional insurance for $70.00 non-refundable on the day of arrival.

We had to call because the jacuzzi was not cleaned but they sent someone right away. They were very responsive whenever we sent a text.

Great location but filthy

I recently had the opportunity to stay at a house that had its pros and cons. Starting with the positives, the location was fantastic—conveniently situated near local attractions and amenities, making it easy to explore the area. The size of the house was also impressive; it offered plenty of space for our group to relax and enjoy our time together. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which was a wonderful feature for unwinding after a long day. However, there were several significant downsides that affected our overall experience. Unfortunately, the house was not clean upon arrival. It felt dirty, and it was evident that a thorough cleaning had not been performed. Additionally, several outlets were broken, which was frustrating and inconvenient as we struggled to find places to charge our devices. The decor and furnishings also left much to be desired; the house felt outdated and in need of some modernization. Most notably, the pillows and bedding were extremely uncomfortable, making it difficult to get a good night's sleep. In conclusion, while the house has a great location, spacious layout, and a nice hot tub, the cleanliness, outdated features, and uncomfortable bedding detracted significantly from the experience. Improvements in these areas could make this a much more enjoyable stay.

Tranquil Weekend Get-Away

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family's weekend in Ursa Manor was what we expected and then some. The cabin was clean with plenty of room for everyone. Our little furry family member was safe as the perimeter of the property was properly secured with wire mesh. The cabin's location allowed us to explore some trails as well as the quaint and charming downtown area. The only negative was the unexpected charge of $25 per night for our small dog. We were told of this charge upon our arrival to collect the keys from the manager's office. This charge should be included in the original summary of charges during the booking process so that possible renters are not surprised with unexpected fees.

Spacious and relaxing

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Stayed here during a stormy weather in March. The house is very spacious and relaxing, and heating was very comfortable. It was a little difficult finding the driveway after a snowstorm. The driveway is located to the right of the house (seen in picture), directly in front of the chainlink fence/gate. The key that gives you entry to the house is on the side of the house (just past the hot tub). Once you are inside you can unlock the front door and use it thereafter while you are in the home (don't forget to lock it when you leave!). Very conveniently located to town, and walkable to stores/restaurants (hat tip to Mazanitas Grill and Alpaca Brunch Cafe). The kitchen is a little dated with appliances slow to cook (we could not figure out how to operate the microwave), but easy to forget this while in spacious comfort and close by to delicious restaurants.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Excellent or minor points - Nice, big, clean, & excellent location. Hot tub is nice and so is the kitchen, but don't drink the foul water from the refrigerator dispenser. The tap is OK. Bring your own bread knife! And, the extensive shag carpeting will be a problem if you have dust mite allergy.Bad - 1.Google Nest smoke and motion detectors installed in each bedroom. They shine in a bright blue light every time you roll in bed (t-shirt over solved the issue, but creepy!). On the second night at 2:30am one started beeping. A call to the manager was answered with "there are no motion detectors", but upon hearing the beeping sounds she called the maintenance guy. He did not answer. Finally when our family's geek woke up, an hour later, they figured out how to turn it off. The manager texted us with an offer for a late check out. Really? We had to go back home early, the next day was a working day. We should have gotten our money back.2. Key pickup - we rented via VRBO. We paid and our ID was verified via VRBO. A key was supposed to wait for us in a lock box. No such luck. No one was in the office (ever), and three more renters were as frustrated as we were . We called the manager, she argued that it was our fault, we should have used (unsecure email) to send her a copy of our credit card and driver license (In the rental application it said this was not needed if going through VRBO, but looks like it is!). We had to send a picture of the driver license, and the credit card via text (again unsecured) to get access to the house. Never again would we rent from "New Spirit Vacation Homes".

Thanksgiving in the mountains and this was the perfect location for our family. Plenty of room for all of us and the deck was perfect for afternoons. The weather was great! A couple minor issues, quickly resolved by the management staff and “Handy” Andy. Thank you for the attention and care.

Snowed Out, Cozy Old Fashioned Cabin

It had snowed the days prior to our visit. Property management did communicate that chains may be necessary, although road conditions showed they weren't. Upon arriving in the dark, we had no place to park because no one had shoveled the driveway or the path to the walkway. I had to park on the corner of the intersection with my hazard lights on while I escorted my elderly parents (80's) through the snow so they could get inside. My boyfriend shoveled snow off the driveway while I made several trips to load things in and walked the distance in the snow. (We also had difficulty figuring out which door the key went to. It didn't unlock the main door, but instead the side door. It would have been nice to be able to drive into the garage and unload into the house, but there was no garage access.) Once in, the house felt cozy on the main level, but upstairs was cold. Also, the Nest device in one of the bedrooms was chirping due to a low battery. I called it in to property management and was told someone would arrive in 15 minutes. About an hour later, I called to follow up and was told they were handling an emergency and that we could remove the batteries. Once we turned on the main heater for the bedrooms upstairs, it got to a comfortable temperature. The kitchen had good spacious counter area. I liked the large trash cans available outside. The bench-style dining table was great for accommodating our meals. The main TV was rather small, and the living room could have used some more lighting. It was disappointing that no shampoo or body soap was provided for the bathrooms aside from the upstairs one having shampoo and conditioner perhaps donated by a previous guest. Also, we ran out of TOILET PAPER! Usually you would expect a full roll on the dispenser as well as an additional roll. There was a mostly used roll on each of the bathrooms and an extra. Also, there were not enough wash cloths for everyone. The beds were queen and full, so somewhat small but at least comfortable. Check out was so early--10am and when we inquired if we could have a later check out, we were told it would be an outrageous fee per hour. The checkout instructions were basic and not exhaustive beyond what would be expected. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The jacuzzi was a big perk for me, and a main reason for selecting the location. I enjoyed the hot water with the cold snowy air. If you come during snowy season, be prepared for some extra duties.

Nice getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was a very nice stay. The cabin was cute and clean and in a great location. We loved the yard for our pups. They has a great time. We would stay again. Only 2 things we didn't like was there was no soap, shampoo or conditioner. This is the first rental I've ever stayed in where they didn't provide that. The other was the master bed downstairs was not comfortable. They have a plastic on it which makes it hard and kinda sticky. I'd recommend moving that or a new mattress, but other than that we loved the home and would stay again for sure!

Lovely Winter Vacation

However when we arrived the dishwasher was stacked full and we had to unload it, and no soap was provided in the bathrooms for showers. One bedroom has no closet. Kitchen supplies need a few upgrades like new fry pans and cutlery. Lots of chipped dishes and dull knives. Also need more lights in the living room.

En la publicacion ofrece un buen serviciom y que tiene todos los servicios necesarios pero no es asi no habia agua caliente en los 3 dia que estuvimos ahi nunca nos resolvieron el problema solo nos decian que en 2hr o manana el yacuzzi no funcionaba no habia los suficientes trastes para cocinar el lugatr estaba sucio por dentro y por fuera fue tan desagradable estar usando agua muy fria y no poder banarte el lugar estaba frio y todavai el agua y en vez de disfrutar estar habaldo para que nos resolvieran el problema y despues nos quisieron mover a otro lugar cuando ya teniamos casi los 2 dias y el siguente nos ivamos mover todo solo patra dormir que fastidio yo no recomiendo este lugar o si lo llegas a tomar antes de entrar asefurate que esten los servicios necesarios por que me informaron que ya era un problema que creian que ya habian reparado y que lo iban a checar, me rembolsaron 200 dls por los inconvenientes que hubieron pero creo que uno va a tener un fin de semana para estar relajado no para tener este tipo de iproblemas fuimos 8 y estar escuchando a todos quejarse por el agua fria fue molesto eh incomodo por que no se disfruto como queriamos

Very dated... for the price it wasn’t great...

Dated property... stove didn’t work properly. Had to clean up dog poop in yard so granddaughter didn’t walk in it. Try to reach Monica for two weeks with questions about the property and she never returned any messages! Pretty busy corner not what we expected... thought we would be in a quiet area.

Our family of 5 and dog enjoyed our stay. Cabin was clean and spacious. It’s a 10 minute walk into town. The fenced yard was perfect for our dog. We were charged $35 for our dog after we provided our dog’s weight (60 lbs) at check-in. A $25 to $35 fee for bringing a pet was in the contract. When I emailed the signed contract to the host, I also requested a bundle of firewood for a fee, as this was an option in the email sent to me with the contract. However, it was not provided. We arrived 1 hour prior to checkin to pick up the keys, and the host was kind enough to let us check in early since the cabin was ready. I was expecting salt, pepper, and cooking oil in a kitchen with essentials. While the kitchen appliances were nowhere near modern, they worked perfectly and added to the cabin’s charm.

Horrible

Location was given to us late the property was not cleaned right I took pictures of all the cleaning wipes we wasted making sure it was clean for my family. The previous renters had dogs and it smelled like dog pee and the pooped and vomited the carpet.
