Can you imagine kicking your feet up on the deck and watching wildlife wander around 17 acres of property, or sitting in a toasty warm hot tub or next to the fireplace with a little snow falling outside? Well Morning Star Lodge is one of those cabins that you'll never forget. This stunning 5-bedroom cabin is located just off Maitland road, only 5.5 miles from downtown Deadwood, and nestled on a sprawling 17 acres of wonderful forested property with hillside forest views. With being in the heart of the Northern Black Hills, you'll enjoy the proximity to the local ATV/Snowmobile trail systems, local restaurants and casinos, grocery stores, and even Spearfish Canyon with it's amazing hiking, waterfalls, and trout fishing! You'll also be within an hour's drive to Mount Rushmore, Keystone, Custer State Park, and Sylvan Lake with so many fun things to see an do. Whether you're planning to visit to enjoy some local trail riding, some skiing at Terry Peak, nights on the town in Deadwood or just a relaxing peaceful weekend enjoying the view from the deck, Morning Star Lodge will make you feel at home.

After spending days enjoying the local scenery, coming home to your very own cabin will be the best part of your vacation. With over 3200 sq. ft. of beautifully decorated indoor space and 1600 sq. ft. of deck space, there's plenty of space for your group to enjoy the property. There's a larger 2 stall garage with plenty of room, and the main living area is a perfect entertaining space with an open kitchen area, living, and dining area. The living room has a wall of windows with a view of the forested property, that surround a cozy fireplace and large TV. The large master bedroom is on the main floor with attached bathroom as well! The large deck is easily access through the dining area and great for entertaining both indoors and out! On the lower level you'll find a fully custom, one-of-a-kind entertainment area and bar. Complete with comfy seating by the large TV, shuffleboard, a Foosball table, and a bar top like you've probably never seen before! There's a lot of great space on the lower level with a walk out patio to the covered hot tub as well, with a forest view!

Great trip - good as advertised

Very clean, well decorated place in a quiet scenic setting. Lots of deer and turkey for viewing off the back deck. Managers were very easy to work with.

The house is gorgeous, situated on top of a beautiful quiet mountain full if wild life. All our couples had their private spaces. Beds were comfortable. The road up is not a hard top road, motorcycles take precaution. Easliy managable for an experienced driver. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We would definately stay again.

Amazing Cabin with Great Location

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. The outside space and hot tub were perfect for relaxing in the evening. The downstairs space with fridge, bar, and shuffle board was awesome and a huge hit with kids and adults! We brought side by sides to ride trails. The location of the house was perfect. Turn left and you head to Lead and Deadwood turn right and head to Spearfish. We loved our stay here and would highly recommend!!!!

Great property!

We loved staying at this cabin. It was clean and had plenty of amenities for us to enjoy. We ran out of propane and the manager was quick to replace it for us! Would definitely recommend this cabin!

Awesome Cabin!

Our family had a wonderful stay here! It was perfect and met all our needs! Great location! Remote enough so we could experience the hills and close enough to town to get supplies, pizza and coffee! Host was wonderful in answer any questions we had Check in was easy! Beds were comfortable- Cabin was super clean! Highly recommend!

Loved the games
