This property offers a wonderful open concept first floor with 1st and 2nd-floor primary bedrooms with attached bathrooms, a 2nd-floor laundry room, stainless steel appliances, granite kitchen counter tops, travertine floors, updated bathrooms, coffered and tray ceilings in the bedrooms, grand 12’ ceilings, bedroom TVs, a surround sound 65” TV in the family room, and 5 car parking.

It is an easy walk to the beach if the weather is nice and not too hot. It is a very challenging walk if it is hot, sunny and you are carrying beach gear. However, the company we stayed with provided a free shuttle to the beach. The shuttle was large enough for all our gear. This was a game changer.

Perfect Family Vacay House

We had the most wonderful stay at this rental. It’s hard to know where to begin because everything was just right. The home was exactly as described- clean, spacious, and thoughtfully furnished with cozy accommodations that made it perfect for our group of multiple families.The location was ideal. We loved having easy access to a quieter part of the beach, and the shuttle service was incredibly convenient. (Patti, the driver, was incredible!) We never had to wait more than a few minutes, and the walk or bike ride to the beach was just as enjoyable. Being so close to Shelter Cove gave us everything we needed without the crowds.The pool and garage were also great amenities to have, and we were so thankful for both. The pool was a relaxing spot for the whole family, and having access to the garage made storing bikes and beach gear a breeze.The host was incredibly responsive before check-in, and everything during our stay went so smoothly that we never had to reach out. Still, it was clear that if we had needed anything, it would have been taken care of quickly. We would absolutely rent this home again and recommend it without hesitation.

Exactly as pictured

The house was very comfortable and well stocked. New living room furniture (different from pictures). Comfortable beds and bedrooms. Plenty of linens. Beach is a comfortable walk (about 15 min), easy and safe walk or bike ride. Great communication with Island Reality before, during, and after our stay.

Okay place to sleep.

The listing had multiple inaccuracies. It listed walk from beach but it was definitely a 5 minute drive. Pool was not clean upon arrival. There is a huge crack along the edge with mold. The tvs were very difficult to work. Also stared seasonal shuttle. Did not give specifics on “season”. Only came to clean the pool one time during our stay and we had to maintain it ourself. Not all the jets were working so the pool did not circulate well. Seemed there was a sound system throughout the house that did not work. This is our second time renting from this company and will not be doing it again. Only good thing was the beach gear credit,

Amazing home for our larger group

The property fut our entire family with ample space. The property manager was attentive throughout the stay. Would definately stay again.

Concrete floor near pool had a big lip so it is trip hazard- put long rug over to cover. Main living area was somewhat dark; tv was a pain to operate. Pool heating cost (optional) was exorbitant. Stairway and hallway Carpet needs replacing.

Great Stay for Parent’s 50th Anniversary

The house is wonderful and my whole family was blown away with the quality of furnishings and decor. My parents felt pampered and we were all very comfortable during our stay. The pool was a welcomed reprieve from the Southern heat especially for my parents who were less mobile to make it to the beach every day. The neighborhood golf cart free shuttle to the beach access was so helpful and the drivers were extremely friendly and patient. The in-home elevator was an absolute God-send providing peace of mind for my sisters and me as our parents traversed the three story house. Just a couple small details: - we couldn’t get the cable tv to work. Fortunately, we brought an HDMI cable to plug in a laptop to watch our streaming shows and movies. - the house ran very cold upstairs and much warmer on the main floor. We couldn’t quite find a happy medium. Otherwise our stay was absolute perfection!

3 families and a tropical storm

We had a group of 3 families with small children and found this house to be very comfortable and had a great time! The pool is such a plus for kids!! The beach is a short golf-cart ride away- having the beach buggy service is so NICE! You could walk to the beach, however it is mostly paved road with no shade so it would be a hot journey. Great communication with property mgmt., especially as we did have some weather move in while on vacation- they kept us informed the whole time. The pool area does need some TLC- but overall did not negatively impact our experience. It was a quiet neighborhood and close to a park as well which is great for kids/families.

Family vacation

We have been going to Hilton head for over 30 years and stayed at just about every type of accommodation. This house was perfect for our family of babies, toddlers and adults. Each room was spacious and gave everyone enough room to have their own space while the common areas were larger than what the pictures made them appear. Property was clean and is well maintained overall. Pool area could use a little sprucing up but it’s just cosmetic stuff that doesn’t reduce how you are able to utilize. Hosts were more than communicative but not intrusive. If you are looking for a property close to the beach I would not recommend this as it’s atleast a 10 minute walk to either public access near it. It is close to Chaplin park which is a great spot for bike riding, walking, running or parking to head to the beach. Would recommend and my standards are pretty high.

Good location

Floor plan is smaller than it appears in photos. Carpets and pool deck area are in need of cleaning. Our grandkids thoroughly enjoyed the pool. Lot of stairs, thank goodness for elevator. Well stocked kitchen. Beach shuttle was super convenient for all of our stuff and they were prompt and friendly. Beach was beautiful and not crowded at all. Property manager was helpful and courteous. Overall a good experience!

Family Vacation

This home has a great location on the island. About an 10 minute walk to the beach or a quick bike ride. We used the free beach shuttle often because our trips to the beach were at varied times for the different families. Nice park just across the street for tennis and a playground for the kids. The house size and layout worked out perfectly for our 4 families age 2 to 65. The small pool was worked fine for 3 kids under 5 and a quick dip after the beach. We had noisy neighbors (when using their pool) but once inside the home you could barely hear them. However, there are a couple of maintenance items that need to be addressed: The shower in the bathroom on the main floor had barely any water pressure. All the other showers were good but annoying that we had to run upstairs to use a decent shower! The Dryer needs it's vent cleaned: takes forever to get things dry. Again, no dish towels (mentioned in another review). I realize that issues are not easily fixed between guests during a busy rental season but for this price point of house they need to be addressed. I did not call the management team for any of these issues and I am still giving the house 5 stars because the many positives of this home warrant it.

We checked in on Saturday and Sunday we got a call making sure everything was acceptable. We requested hot pads, dish towels and a knife sharpener....the items were delivered Monday morning! Great service!! The refrigerator went out and one was delivered the following day, we were compensated for our trouble. Great service!! The home is beautiful, we love the outdoor living space!! We used the outdoor shower, pool and lounge furniture multiple times a day. I really can’t say enough positive things about the home, the management team, the beach shuttle and Hilton Head Island.
