This home sits off hwy 176 in Newberry county, close to I26 and 7 mi from downtown. We offer a very comfortable, and very clean home fully stocked to cook a meal, grill a steak or roast a hot dog. Enjoy a cup of coffee on the cozy front porch. Take a nice country ride down 176 to Irmo or Columbia (aprox 30 mile). Or enjoy what Newberry offers with a few window front stores and some good food and antiques. Newberry opera house is a popular attraction and has some amazing shows. If you prefer the outdoors , just head out the door and in about 2 minutes you will be in the Sumter National Forest. We have lots of beautiful country roads with very little traffic, perfect for bike riding , 10 mile toward Pomaria , you can pick up the famous Palmetto Trail, great for hikers or bikers. We host many families here to visit their students at Newberry college. This is also a great home to rent if you just need to get off the road and enjoy a good nights sleep, or want to get out of the city and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. Our check in is super easy. We live nearby if you need anything at all, yet we give you absolute privacy. All dogs must be approved, and you must crate them when left alone. No cats, my wife is extremely allergic, thank you.
