Large late1800's home within walking distance to Opera House and downtown.

Ryan and I are certain you will love Newberry's friendly "small town" atmosphere. Our home was built in the late 1800's. It provides visitors with an eclectic blend of "old house" charm and modern updates within walking distance to the Newberry Opera House and wonderful downtown restaurants. The house features almost 4000 square feet of high ceilings, heavy pocket doors for privacy, three fireplaces, four bedrooms with three queen and two twin beds, 3.5 baths...and a wonderful front porch.

Be sure to examine the reproduction of the photograph unearthed on the property during renovations. There is something quite odd about it!!! Can you determine what it is? Take a mini tour of the house on our Ramblin Man YouTube channel at

It was a short overnight stay for us during a graduation weekend but it was very pleasant. It is located in a quiet neighborhood with a lovely front porch to sit on. The house was filled with interesting artwork and photos that were fun to explore. Definitely a pleasant stay!

This beautiful Southern home was perfect for our family gathering. The house is spacious, cozy, and homey. We did lots of porch sitting, visited with each other in the sitting rooms and around the large kitchen table. The kitchen is very well equipped if you want to cook. And downtown Newberry is a comfortable 2-block stroll away. The host was very responsive and accommodating. Our stay was everything we hoped for and more!

A Beautiful Place To Stay

We loved staying in this beautiful, historic home. It’s filled with so much character and was so comfortable and warm for our family to spend a week. We found it was a great home base for us to explore Newberry and the area and enjoyed having everyone together in one great space.

Comfortable and Convenient

The property is beautiful and interestingly decorated. Very comfortable house and location, within walking distance to restaurants and shopping downtown. Super easy check in and check out. This was our second stay and we plan to stay again!

Beautiful historic home

My mom and brother stayed here for the July 4th holiday. It is a beautiful, spacious, well-kept home in a historic neighborhood. Highly recommend
