Downtown Arcata Farmers Market Apartment This bright and sunny apartment is a block from the Arcata Plaza, Farmers Market, shopping (across street from Arcata Co-op), and next door to Salt Restaurant and North Story Wines. It has a private parking lot, fast 1 gig/second WiFi, TV w/cable, washer/dryer in unit, lots of sun and pretty town views. Fun location close to everything, very comfortable and convenient, and secure behind key coded gates. This sunny apartment has lots of big windows looking out over town and the co-op which is the natural grocery store less than a block away. The apartment is on the second level and behind a keyed gate so is very secure feeling. The bedroom has a big skylight so is filled with light during the day and its possible to see the stars at night. There is a big leather couch, a table and two chairs, lots of throws/blankets, this apartment just has a great vibe. Guests have access to the whole apartment which includes a washer/dryer inside, yard, and private parking lot. We respect guests privacy but are always available to help quickly with guest needs as our home is only about 10 blocks away. We are very responsive hosts. This apartment is in a beautiful section of town just a block from the Arcata Plaza next door to Salt restaurant, in a very pretty and lively section of town. North Story Winery/Wrangletown Cidery are also next door and sometimes host live music and events. While being right in the middle of everything, the apartment is on the second level and is very secure feeling as it is behind coded/locked gates. The co-op natural food grocery store is less than a block away as are a local pie restaurant, “Bittersweet” , the popular "Campground" restaurant across the street, and many other great restaurants nearby. We have a private parking lot for our guests and everything is within a block or two from the apt. Cal Poly Humboldt is about a 10 minute walk. We have tankless water heaters for unlimited hot water, rain shower heads, and very strong water pressure so much so many guests comment on how nice the showers are. The apartment has a queen bed and a large leather couch that is not a sleeper. We have a travel crib and high chair for those with young children, please message us if needed and we will leave in apt for you.

Great little place

We loved the location. The place is small but worked great for us. Only gripe is that there no way to block the massive skylight in the bedroom. There is no sleeping in here.

Great place to use as a hub

The location is perfect. There's a great market next door, similar to Whoole Foods. Easy access to the freeway. We explored the redwoods 30 minutes to the north and 30 minutes to the south. Simple and clean apartment for 2 adults.

Cozy apartment

The Farmers Market apartment is very clean, comfortable and well-equipped. We always enjoy our stays in Eric and Heather's lovely apartments. They are convenient to the Co-op, restaurants, and neighborhood walks. Eric is a very responsive host. We look forward to our next visit.

Wonderful time!

I cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The house was everything we could want or need. Owner was very prompt and helpful when we needed anything. I highly recommend this place. It was very easy to get to food, grocery’s and had the extra bonus of being near the sweetest farmers market every. Loved it!

Great property but…

This was well-located, clean, and had absolutely everything someone could want EXCEPT there is a humongous skylight that you can’t cover up and makes sleeping very difficult. In every other respect it was ideal.

Great stay!

This apartment was perfect for us. Just the right size for two, the location is right downtown so we were able to walk every where we wanted to go, very comfortable and clean, stocked with all the essentials. It was a lovely and relaxing stay!

We greatly enjoy hosting guests, families, travelers in our two downtown Arcata apartments and our home in Trinidad. We went with a Farmer's Market theme for our first apartment, which of course is just a block from the Arcata Plaza and its Farmer's Market that happens every Saturday. This apartment has a warm and wonderful vibe with great town views, lots of sunlight streaming in the windows, and a big skylight in the bedroom for light and stargazing. Being right next to the old metal Machine Works, which is now a winery/cidery and adjacent to a seafood restaurant, our second apartment took an Arcata Bay, Coastal theme. This apartment is sparkling clean, very spacious, everything one has at home is here including a king size bed, large TV with premium cable, fast internet, a full size gas range, dishwasher, and central heating system. This is like a mini version of your home! But in the center of Arcata where everything is just a block away, or in most cases just a few steps away. These apartments are vey unique in that you could park your car in our private parking lot behind our building, and live your entire life without every going more than two blocks away, its that centrally located.

We've met many wonderful families and guests and we really enjoy interacting with our guests whenever they have questions or need suggestions about the area, things to do, etc. So if you are staying with us, please always call or text us, we are always happy to help. But also respect your privacy.
