Come and discover this charming air-conditioned apartment in Villeurbanne, with wifi (fiber optic). For maximum 5 persons. Located on the 1st floor (no lift), it consists of a pretty living room of 26 m², equipped kitchen, two beautiful bedrooms, two bathrooms (with shower and bathtub). Cleaning is included in the rental and 4* hotel quality linen is provided (sheets, towels, tea towels), your bed will be prepared on your arrival.

The accommodation is composed as follows:
- A living room of 26 m² with TV
- A kitchen equipped with electric kettle, oven, microwave oven, toaster, dishwasher, hotplates, Nespresso coffee machine...
- Two bedrooms each with a queen-size bed (160×200)
- An office with a glass roof overlooking one of the bedrooms with a single sofa bed.
- Two bathrooms with shower and bathtub
- A separate toilet

The apartment is ideally located in Villeurbanne, in a very pleasant environment. You will be able to benefit close to all the essential shops but also to shops, restaurants, bars, market...

If you choose to come by car, you can park near the apartment, in the street (paid parking).

The apartment is really well set out and has everything you need to make it feel like home.You have a washing machine and a clothes airer, a shopping trolley, a Nespresso coffee machine, a full-size oven, fridge and freezer - basically everything you need to live comfortably. The location is also excellent.

Lovely apartment

The apartment was perfect for 2 couples. It was nice to stay in a different neighborhood rather than the old town. We were still able to get around very easily either by walking or via the metro system. We were met on time and check in was very easy. The apartment had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay. I would highly recommend Le Sherwood apartment.

We had an extended stay in Lyon this August with my family. Le Serwood was an outstanding home away from home during our adventures in Lyon. We all had plenty of room and a common area for our dinners and entertainment. Thankfully, the apartment was very clean, recently renovated, and with central air conditioning. Central air conditioning is absolutely critical for France during the summer months, and returning here after an all-day adventure in the heat was incredibly welcoming. There is also a full kitchen, dishwasher, and washing machine.The only major downside is that the location is quite far from the rivers, major attractions, and historical Lyon attractions. We were dependent on Uber to get us to where we needed to go. Additionally, we didn't feel safe walking around the neighborhood, especially at night.

Wonderful apartment

We stayed in this Villeurbanne flat for two weeks and were very pleased with its comfort and cleanliness. It's very close to the Charpennes station where you can take two different metro lines or a tram. There is also a bus station directly across the street so it's easy to travel all over the city. There is a delightful boulangerie right around the corner, as well as several convenient grocery stores, a pharmacy, and banks/ATMs. The TV has a YouTube app so we were able to get some American TV programming on evenings that we didn't go out.

Charming and Comfortable Place for a Long Stay

My husband and I spent a month at this beautiful, roomy and comfortable apartment. Unlike some vacation rentals, this one felt like a home. It had lots of French charm, yet was up-to-date and well-equipped. The beds were comfortable, the shower and bath warm, and the internet connection reliable. It is located in a lively neighborhood, with convenient shopping (supermarkets, boulangeries, small stores, food markets) and amenities (post office, pharmacy, laundromat, movie theater). Transportation options (metro, bus, tram) are close by and excellent, yet it is within less than a half-hour walk to the Parc de la Tete d'Or, Part Dieu station, and Hotel to Ville. It made our stay in Lyon a delightful one and we would happily stay here again.

I would recommend this apartment! we stayed for 2 weeks and bathroom had some problem with drain but they came and fixed it. The only thing was that they didn’t inform exact time therefore we were not at place while all our personal things were there. In the end nothing happened just that was discomfort for us.

LE SHERWOOD My friend & I had wanted a 2-BR, 2 bath, flat with AC. The flat itself is lovely & worked out for us, as there are excellent transport options into the center of Lyon in minutes, and to the language school we attended. There are supermarkets, fruit & veg vendors, pubs, butchers & restaurants nearby. We were able to cook some nice meals in the kitchen. We were surprised on arrival to find that there is only one toilet (WC) in the flat. There are 2 bathrooms with showers (one is en-suite), but neither of the bathrooms has a toilet-the lone toilet is down the hall. This took some getting used to, but worked out fine in the end. We were very happy to have AC. There were some hot days during our stay. We would have appreciated written instructions (or clear verbal instructions) on how to use the AC & induction stove top when we arrived, but Julia at AgenceCOCOONR was very responsive, and came over to show us. She also brought us a toaster. I would gladly return to this flat!
