Situated on one of the liveliest and central neighborhoods in Lyon, at a few minutes walk from Place des Terreaux and the Croix-Rousse hill, you will definitely enjoy the brightness, calm and comfort of this amazing Canut apartment with lovely bric-a-brac furniture and decoration.

The 53m² flat is on the 4th floor without elevator.
Rated 3 stars and official partner of the Lyon Tourist Office.

You will enjoy a great living room with an HD TV and a fancy hamac to relax after a busy day. There is also a dining table for 4 persons and a very nice fully equipped kitchen.
Regarding the sleeping area, you will discover two mezzanines with French ceiling including a 140*190 cosy bed, freshly replaced by a new one(ceiling height 1M55), and a study area with a desk (height 1M75).
You will eventually enjoy a nice modern bathroom with a shower and toilets. The living room features a 140x190 sofa bed.

WIFI available, sheets and towels are included.

You will find convenience products at your disposal (pasta, rice, spice, coffee, tea...), and a Traveller's Guide containing useful information for your stay (WIFI code, notices, nice restaurants around...).

Checkin and checkout are totally easy and independant thanks to a safe keybox. Checkin is from 3 PM and checkout is possible till 11 AM the day you leave.

Late checkout possible until 1PM for a supplement of 18E (subject to availability, please send your request the day before you leave at the latest).

Memorable Place does its best to guarantee the loveliest and most secured stay ! Before each stay, the place and all the linen are cleaned and sanitized by a professional cleaning team.

According to our conditions on our listing, parties and any noisy event (loud music etc...) which can disturb our neighborhood are strictly forbidden, such as smoking into our apartment.

Any breach of these rules will lead to a financial penalty. Thanks for your vigilence :)

Lovely apartment, great location

Loved staying in the Croix-Rousse area. Very accessible to the whole city by foot or transit. Lots of stairs but I knew that and didn’t mind. Enjoyed the apartment.

Lovely stay

Wonderful apartment in an enchanting area of Lyon. All very clean and beautifully furnished. It would have been useful if the hosts had put the name of the apartment on the outside of the apartment door to aid ease of identification. Otherwise an excellent dwelling in an area steeped in history.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Pentes de la Croix-Rousse. The hosts were very responsive to the service issues that came up during our stay. The apartment is cute and comfortable and decently stocked to prepare simple meals. You do need to be in good shape because the apartment is a 4th floor walkup and it is halfway up a mountain from the center city. The positive is that it is also halfway down the mountain from the Croix-Rousse metro station. Also, be cautious of the beams above the bed. They are much lower than you think.

Property was nice ... there were a few issues ... the front door was unlabelled and very hard to find ... we only found it with the help of a neighbour ... also the front door was very hard to open ... and a few things inside needed repair, which the host agreed to do.

A very pleasant stay in Croix-Rousse, Lyon

We enjoyed staying in this beautiful apartment. The space was bright and clean, the hosts were helpful and responsive, the neighbourhood had many options for dining. Guests may want to consider taking a taxi from the train station for about 25 Euros: the distance is not all that far by public transit or on foot, but there are hills to climb and then several flights of stairs to the apartment itself.

Great Unit!

Overall, the experience was positive! The unit itself was wonderful, and beautiful! There were some things that could’ve been a bit better, more towels, more dish rags, a bit cleaner. The hosts were very communicative and allowed us to check in early. Just as a heads up, for those traveling with older folks or young kids, the unit is on the fourth floor (fifth floor for US folks) with some large staircases between floors.

The apartment was perfect, as shown in the app, but we were surprised of the good location, in a cozy neighborhood and very close to the historical city center. We were surprised by the beauty of the city and its atmosphere. The only drawback was that the apartment was in a 4th floor with no elevator, and if you have children or many luggage you'll have to lift it by yourself... but that's the price you have to pay in old buildings :)

Beautiful apartment with some notes

Very neighborhood-y vibe with many options for food, drink, groceries (including a daily market). Easy walk to Vieux Lyon. It is towards the crest of the Croix-Rousse hill, so once you go down to the rivers, not so easy to climb back up on foot. As many have noted, the apartment is on the fourth floor (fifth for you Americans). There are also many young people, and one night there was an all-night party at an apartment across the street. The host was very responsive to any issues and the apartment was well-furnished and beautiful.

Très bel appartement!

Appartement bien situé. Malgré le fait qu'il faille avoir de bonnes jambes pour monter et descendre la centaine de marches du 4e etage au r-d-c, on oublie cela en ouvrant la porte sur cet appartement très spacieux et éclairé. Je ne sais pas s'il y avait un changement au niveau de l'équipe de ménage, mais il y avait de petits oublis (surtout dans les toilettes). Il manque un peu d'équipement dans la cuisine, mais cela ne ternit en rien l'expérience. Le lit est très confortable et une fois les fenêtres ouvertes, l'appartement est très bien aéré.
