We stayed here on a Thursday night and checked out on Friday morning. My 17 year old daughter and her friend toured UGA. We live on the other side of Atlanta, and the campus tour started at 9 AM, so we wanted to be close to campus. This house is in walking distance to downtown Athens and the UGA campus. I felt very safe, and the place was quite clean. You can hear the train go by throughout the night. I did not notice once I fell asleep, but my daughter said it woke her up.A couple of things to know: The upstairs was a little stuffy. We like it cold when we are sleeping, and we could not get the upstairs to cool down enough to be comfortable. We didn't check in until Thursday evening, so this might have been avoided if we had turned the air down earlier. We slept in the king bed upstairs. It felt like we were sleeping on a slab of concrete with a thin piece of foam on top. For one night, it was doable. Our other guests said their beds were uncomfortable as well.Overall, it worked for one night, and it was cheaper than a hotel room.
