This updated flat is just a splash away from Lover’s Point Beach and the Coastal Recreational Trail. Part of a multi-unit Victorian, the “A” unit is completely private. Enter the ocean view living room through a glass-enclosed, vine-covered porch and relax on the leather sofa in front of a huge flat screen TV. There’s a dining table for two and a compact kitchen with a four burner gas range, refrigerator,  microwave, and a stainless steel topped island (no dishwasher).   The bedroom has a platform bed and a second TV, and the spacious bath has a tub/shower. There’s a shared, credit card-operated washer/dryer in the garage. Street parking only.   Pacific Grove Transient Use License #0462

Very good property to stay! 1/2 block from the ocean trail and about 3 blocks from downtown. Loads of shops and restaurants to peruse. About a mile walk along the ocean trail to the aquarium and Cannery Row. Fully stocked kitchen of pots, pans etc.if you wanted to cook. Only downside was very inexpensive/very uncomfortable furniture in living room. Would stay again if they upgraded the couch.

Great location

The Fountain Avenue rental was just lovely. The neighborhood was great with all the neighbors being very friendly. We were just several houses away from Monterey Bay coastal Trail. Just down the trail from lovers point. Great restaurants and shops several blocks away on Lighthouse Ave. Specially loved the little red house for breakfast. Great drinks and entertainment at pop and hiss. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Bath towels were exceptionally thick and luxurious. Bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay there again! Had a weird washer dryer set up.

Great location, perfect bungalow getaway

Nestled just steps from Lover’s Point Beach and the scenic Coastal Recreational Trail, this charming 1-bedroom, 1‑bath flat offers a refreshingly cozy getaway in a beautifully restored Victorian. This walk-to-the-beach or to-town retreat sleeps two comfortably and is ideal for couples looking for a quaint coastal escape. Clean and comfy. We have used Monterey Rentals many times and will again.

Pacific Grove is Gorgeous!

The property is as described in this VRBO listing. The property location is very residential and amazing. A short walk both to the beach and to downtown with lots of restaurant choices. We were very happy with our stay on Fountain Ave!

Pacific Grove Adventure

We originally chose this area as we were planning a trip down the Pacific Coast Highway past Big Sur. We were very pleasantly surprised by the Pacific Grove area. There were some very nice restaurants in the area and plenty to see and do. Our accommodations were just right for the location and amenities. The booking and check in process was very easy and the description was bang on. Very pleasant indeed.

Wonderful place and great location!

We loved the location! The apartment was clean and well appointed. We cooked most of meals there and had everything we needed. It is a quick walk to multiple restaurants and you can see the water from the front windows.

Fantastic!

Spotless, well-equipped, and two blocks from the ocean in a quiet and quaint neighborhood. Walk from the home to as far as you'd like in any direction: to restaurants, shopping, Monterey, along the ocean, or through neighborhoods. Manager was very responsive.

Loved It

Great location, especially if you like to walk. Restaurants and grocery store a few blocks away. Asilomar Beach and Cannery both a little over a mile away. Ocean (with miles of path) a half-block away. A comfortable place for two.

Ocean time

This unit is small but quite suitable for a couple/individual. It's very close to Lover's Point and the Ocean Blvd walking path. We walked over to Lighthouse Ave Starbucks and enjoyed the beautiful historical homes along the way. We also walked to the Grove easily for supplies. The only problem for us was not enough heat. The portable heater was fine in the bedroom.

Great location, clean, spacious, but...

Nice place. great location, easy parking. quiet at night. spacious. plenty of clean linens. they almost nailed it! almost... although not fancy decor it had everything we were looking for... except one important item... and the only reason I rated three stars rather than 5. The bed was way too firm for our liking, and they layered on a couple cheap mattress covers which offered little to no benefit. seems like a terrible idea to put an ultra firm mattress, which is only suitable for a small percentage of the population in a VRBO. We didn't sleep well and I was not a happy camper about the bed. otherwise the place was great.

Great location, good but needs help.

First the good: Perfect location (close to Lovers Point and Lighthouse street), clean unit, mattress comfortable, sheets and towels good, lots of hot water and quick response to requests for additional items (i.e. towels, measuring cup, etc.). Could use help: walls need fresh paint, screens on windows, add dishwasher, hook on bathroom door, shelf and grab rails in shower, full length mirror, proper night stands, replace flimsy dresser, remove owner stuff from closets, replace TV with smaller size commensurate with small living room, provide dedicated parking space, provide instructions for finding and using laundry, wall clock in kitchen.

Pacific Grove getaway

Great location -walking distance to so many things. Street parking in front of house was available every time we got back to the house after an outing. Very quiet neighborhood, which was really nice and relaxing.
