Le Ciel - Ridgeview ("the sky") is the perfect location for your Montana Escape! Relax on the patio with your morning coffee or evening cocktail and soak in the glorious mountain views and you'll see why they call Montana "Big Sky Country". This 2 bedroom/2 bathroom home has private river access just a short walk away, or you can enjoy a peaceful walk around the property on a loop trail, just under one mile long. The fully stocked kitchen opens up to the warm, sunny living room - perfect for connecting with friends and family. The laundry/mud room has a full sized washer and dryer. Conveniently located in Gallatin Gateway, south of Bozeman on your way to Big Sky or West Yellowstone, it's a central home base for year round fun: fishing, rafting, hiking, skiing, golfing, shopping, visiting the National Park, or partaking of the many delicious restaurants in the area are all accessible within an hours drive.

In the winter, nearby Bridger Bowl is a local's favorite for downhill skiing with 350 inches of snow on average, 8 lifts, and 2,000 skiable acres! You can also drive to Big Sky for even bigger downhill skiing or cross-country ski at Lone Mountain Ranch, voted #1 Nordic Ski Resort in North America. Looking for more thrills? Check out ice climbing in the Hyalite Canyon. After a day of adventuring, relax at Bozeman Hot Springs or hit the town! As a college town, Bozeman is always bustling with activity and something for everyone.

In the summer, Bozeman boasts numerous events and festivals like the Sweet Pea Festival, rodeos and MSU Graduation. It's a central home base for countless summer activities including touring Yellowstone National Park, fishing, rafting, hiking, tubing, golfing, shopping, or sampling menus at all the great restaurants nearby.

Has everything you need, very clean, comfortable beds, heated floors, amazing view and lots of deer to watch. Highly recommend!!If I could suggest one thing... a swing in the back. That would add even more enjoyment outside.

The house and property were perfect for our week long fishing trip. Located close to everything, in between Bozeman and Big Sky. Definitely try Stacey’s Steakhouse, it’s less than a mile from the house. Great fishing across the road and nobody else is there due to private access. The house was clean and stocked with everything you need for a long stay. Washer/dryer, all kitchen utensils, grill outside, tons of firewood for the awesome fire pit out back. There is no A/C but there’s many windows and fans so the house was comfortable the entire trip and we were there in late July, 2026 when it was in the high 80’s and low 90’s everyday. The host was very responsive and helpful with all questions.If you want, the TV has all the normal streaming services so make sure you can log in to your account. There’s several grocery stores close by to stock up on supplies. The beds were both comfortable and there’s plenty of storage space for all your belongings in each bedroom. Wonderful experience and worth every penny. Spanish Creek Rd is about 10 minutes from the house if you wanna see bison without traveling to Yellowstone Park. Follow Spanish Creek to the end, about 8 miles, and you’ll see bison, deer and other wildlife on the property. Give yourself about 2 hours because you’ll want to stop to take pictures. The pictures I attached are from Spanish Creek Rd.

Moved our son from MSU dorms to local apartment, and our mountain view house in Gallatin Gateway was perfect. Great hiking and outdoor access near us. Highly recommend the area and home.

We enjoyed our stay at Gallatin Gateway. Beautiful property! The listing is a bit misleading, the “private river access” was not very accessible but other than that nice place!

Amazing Views

We didn't want to leave! Great location that you are in a very quiet area but not too far from convenience! Stocked quite well with paper products and kitchen staples. Communication is very important to us and they were extremely prompt with any need or question we may have!

Our experience with Vrbo was excellent and the complaints have nothing to do with them. Vrbo was very helpful regarding our experience! Our issue lies specifically with Stay Montana, the management company/host. Never was any reservation info sent prior to the trip, and if Vrbo didn't assist after 3 hours, we would have never had any communication with the host as Stay Montana was unreachable if it were not for Vrbo's help! The property was NOT clean and there was copious amounts of long gray hair everywhere from the stools, kitchen chairs, sofas, pillows, and floors. The main master bathroom had dried feces on top of the toilet seat which we had to clean and disinfect. The fireplace had only 1 firestarter for only a single use, an empty lighter, and no matches. The bbq had very little propane left in the tank with only enough for 2 grillings at most, and it was unimpressive as we couldn't reach a temperature greater than 200 degrees maximum, slowing down our cooking time immensely (4 small chicken breasts took 45 minutes to cook!). The kitchen sink faucet mount was very loose and quite challenging to use. Also, the kitchen wasn't completely stocked with some basic utensils, so we became creative and improvised to compensate (including no potholders/oven mits or measuring cups, and only 1 dish towel). We actually left with the house better/cleaner than arriving, and would not stay in this home in the future, but will definitely use Vrbo... NOT a Stay Montana property!

Nature at its finest!

My family of 4 just stayed at this wonderful house. We had a great stay. The house is very spacious and beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved sitting outside watching the cows and deer and also had a visit from a nearby cat. Sitting by the fire pit outside and wood burning stove inside was such a great place to share stories and make memories. Love Montana. If you decide to visit, stay at this beautiful getaway. It is truly nature at its finest!

Beautiful Views - Perfect Home away from Home

My husband, adult daughter and I stayed here over Christmas break and it was just perfect. In floor radiant heating made it almost too toasty! The master suite with a giant wall in closet was a plus, the third extra bathroom was a nice surprise. And the view was breathtaking!! We cooked most dinners in- but the property has lots of options near by for dinner. We’re bummed we never got to try the iconic Stacey’s right down the street- but after long days of skiing/ shopping we were early to bed and early to rise.

Nice property, only wish that the kitchen was stocked better with pots, pans, small appliances etc. Bare minimums were only provided. Would have brought my own if I had known

Gallatin River Gem

Could not be happier with the house. Spent a week here with some family and and we loved this cozy and spacious place. It is tucked away in the countryside with amazing views of the surrounding hills, but still affords convenient access to Bozeman and Big Sky. We especially loved the tulikivi fireplace. There was plenty of wood to split in the shed and we spent lots of time enjoying the fire after a hard day of skiing. Access is off a dirt road so might be good to have a 4x4 vehicle in the winter. We would definitely love to return to this incredible retreat!

Mountain trip

The house is in a beautiful area with easy access to fishing and all the sites. The house was beautiful but rhe master bed smelled very moldy either from the mattress pad or some odor. The second mattress we moved to was very stiff to say the least. Other than that the house had everything one needed.

101st Birthday Celebration

Overall, Le Ciel is a beautiful home situated in a picturesque setting. The backdrop and peacefulness of the mountains and cows grazing in the field, is serene. The house appears exactly as listed. The amenities are wonderful for an at-home stay. I do have some suggestions. (1) Consider having a smart sheet with quick facts, including garbage procedures. It may be online; however, it is more helpful if for important matters like this, we don't have to look it up. (2) Consider including a safe where we can store our valuables. (3) The side door leading out to the patio (by the master bedroom) can easily be opened from the outside, even if locked from the inside. I notified the staff, and it was written that Regina was working on the issue. The lock was never fixed. I took a video and sent it as well to show the operations crew, but no one seemed to understand. Not being able to lock that door successfully (because it could be accessed from the outside) left us feeling vulnerable. We felt as if we needed to secure the door ourselves so that we could feel safe. (4) Everyone who may have mobility issues is not in a wheelchair. Perhaps you may want to consider how people (young and old) may have difficulty stepping up the front step because it is high. You may consider a grab bar by the toilets as well. Many people have differing abilities that are not seen. These are just suggestions. Overall, we were happy with our stay. The Halala-Vishudh Family

Simply wonderful

Peaceful location, wide open spaces, spectacular views, homey vibe. Loved it! The house is spacious (larger than it seems in photos), comfortably furnished, and well-stocked. We were completely happy with this rental (the radiant heated floors were a big hit;). The location is accessible to Bozeman, Belgrade/airport, and Big Sky. We plan to stay here each time we're in Montana visiting our daughter. Thank you, Stay Montana, for making such a lovely property available!

Peaceful, clean and great location!

We loved our stay here. The views and short walk to the river were beautfiful. The home was clean and comfortable. The location was perfect with short commute to Bozeman and Big Sky. I loved reading in the cute backyard chairs with a view. I only give this 4 stars becuase the kitchen was barren, Not even sugar around for my coffee :( Also, trying to arrange an earlier check in was hard. I had to ask the day of if it was possible and if it was, it was $50/hr extra. Also, there was no little travel body wash or lotions... just a teeeeeeny tiny bit of shampoo and conditioner. Not enough for a week long trip between a few people. Anyways, overall AMAZING AND WILL COME BACK!!!
