Perfect Visit

We had such a great stay! It was very spacious, very clean, and had everything we needed for a quick weekend visit. Lot of cool shops and restaurants around too.

Good multifamily unit

Very clean and tidy antique unit attached to owners' house. Great fenced in yard with fire pit. The kitchenette has what we needed to make meals. Great selection of board games and cozy area to hang out with the family. Very polite and responsive host. Thank you for having us as your guests.

Property could use updating, very worn down property adorned and old furniture. Driveway was a sheet of ice and unsafe. Walkway was not shoveled for our arrival and entrance stairs were covered with snow and ice. We left a day early due to some allergens in the property my wife and daughter could. Not stop sneezing.

Hello, John. I’m sorry our property was not up to your standards. I believe my photos show the property in its true form so I’m sorry if you expected something else. As far as the allergens go, I’m sorry your wife and daughter had issues. Nobody else has ever complained about any strange smells or allergens at the property so I’m not sure what could have caused the issues. I wish you would have reached out to me at the time to alert me of your issues, though I guess I’m not sure there would have been anything I could have done to help the situation. Thanks for staying with us nonetheless.

Quick getaway

We stayed here for one night as a very quick getaway. It was cheaper than hotel rooms. House was clean and worked for the one night. Bathrooms are both downstairs so upstairs bedrooms have to go down to use one. Front yard was a little slippery after the snow. Getting to the porch was a bit of a challenge. We all had our own rooms tho so that was really nice.

White mountain retreat

We enjoyed our stay tremendously. The farmhouse is comfortable, quiet, clean, and spacious. The beds and furniture are comfortable, and the added fans (for downstairs) and window AC unit (for the upstairs bedroom) were great when we needed them. The appliances are excellent, but be aware that a washer or dryer is not included except for longer stays. The cooktop is a bit small, the kitchen area needs better lighting, but otherwise we had what we needed (minus a grater!). The wifi worked beautifully, there was no cellular service in the house (either AT/T or Verizon) but there is once you drive towards town. We were also only told to bring our own towels on the day of arrival, when we were driving up and so had to stop and buy towels, which was annoying. There are many activities, hikes etc within a short drive and the pool at the club was wonderful on a hot afternoon. The large supermarket, Market Basket, in Plymouth, was fantastic and only 15 minute drive away. Plymouth also had some cool places to eat -notably, delicious Poke bowls and home-made ice cream. Amazing coffee, vibe and baked goods at Mad RIver Coffee House. And the fenced in back yard and back deck were great for hanging out. The host was very responsive and easy to work with. Overall, we loved our stay.

Thanks for staying with us! We will work on the kitchen lighting to make it better for future guests. We also added an outdoor grill! Come back again some time.

Wedding weekend

Great house. Convenient to the Owls Nest were the wedding was. Easy check in. Only thing I wish is that checkout was by noon.

Made visiting parents a joy.

Great location towards the north of New Hampshire but still close enough for day trips around the sate.
