La Forêt de Ventron - Two Bedroom Apartment, Sleeps 5

This charming 60 m² flat in a Vosges farmhouse in Ventron can accommodate up to 5 people. Located on the ground floor, it comprises a pretty 20 m² living room, an open-plan fitted kitchen, two good bedrooms, a bathroom and a small "terrace" area. Wifi included, we're just waiting for you!

The accommodation comprises
- A 20 m² living room with TV, sofa, armchair and dining area
- Open-plan kitchen with appliances including oven, microwave, toaster, dishwasher, hob, filter coffee machine, etc.
- Bedroom 1: a double bed (140×190) and a single bed.
- Bedroom 2: queen-size bed (160×200).
- Bathroom with bath (can only be used as a shower)
- Separate WC.

Outside:
- A 20 m² terrace with a table to enjoy the fine weather.

For even greater comfort, the owners have decided to invest in the following additional equipment: high chair, cot, ironing board and iron.

The gîte is ideally located in Ventron, in a very pleasant, peaceful setting on a Vosges farm with no immediate neighbours, and an uninterrupted view over the valley. All the essential shops, boutiques, restaurants, bars and markets are close by, both in the village and in Cornimont.

Activities :
Nestling in the heart of the Vosges Massif in the Hautes Vosges Regional Nature Park at the gateway to Alsace, in a lush, wooded setting.
- Sights: Gérardmer lake, the Hohneck (with its magnificent panoramic view of the Vosges), Colmar (the little Venice of Alsace), Kaysersberg (a superb village on the wine route)....
- Sports activities: hiking, cycling and mountain biking from the gîte. In winter, "Frère Joseph" ski resort, also known as "Les Pistes de Ventron"...
- Cultural visits: visit to a copper mine, wine tasting in the vineyards, etc.
- Events : Gerardmer Film Festival, Daffodil Festival...

Transport :
If you choose to come by car, free parking is available close to the gîte.

- Nearest train station: Kruth station, about 15 minutes' drive away.
- Nearest airport: Strasbourg airport, about 1 hour 58 minutes by car.
