Great vacation destination: , sleeps 10, 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house on Little Gasparilla Island. Walking distance from beach and dock sides of the island. Pet friendly with fenced in private yard. Large first and second floor porches with outdoor shower. Recently renovated with ample new amenities and appliances. This vacation house is on a charming island that is only accessible by personal boat or water taxi.

As with any rental on Little Gasparilla Island, you will want to reserve a golf cart well in advance of your visit as they are limited. This is highly recommended if you aren't comfortable walking several hundred yards from the dock to the house. There is also a concierge service available to transport you and your supplies to the house for a nominal fee. (Brett at (941) 223-4548) Carts are available at LGI carts 941-697-3820.
Also, if you don't have your own water transportation, be sure to make reservations to be ferried over by Pirate Water Taxi, 941=697-5777 .

Hurricane Ian update: Though many homes on the island have suffered extensive damage, this home only lost the large patio screened cage. It is usable, with a nice safe railing, but not impervious to bugs as it was previously. Although many homes are not habitable/ rentable, this one is ready to go!

Slice of Paradise

If you are looking for a peaceful beach vacation, with a large family, this is the place for you. We had a family of 10 (2 couples, grandma, and 4 kids and a baby) and it slept us all comfortably. The beds were so comfortable too! It was just a short walk to the beach for the most perfect sunsets and thousands of sharks teeth for finding. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need. The owners were kind enough to make sure the grill had enough charcoal for BBQ every night. The house had multiple tvs with streaming services (which is nice when you get sunburnt on day 1). We have stayed on Little Gasparilla multiple times and I have to say, this was by far one of the best places to stay. The owners were also super responsive to any of our questions. My only recommendation is to make sure you rent a golf cart, since it is a little ways from the dock.

I give this 5 stars because we would definitely stay again! The house is about a 5 min walk to the beach access. Golf carts are helpful especially in the heat of the day. The only complaint is that the house description needs updating. The house lists several things that were either not there at all or in need of replacement. We were able to make it all work but we had planned some meals that were difficult to make due to lack of proper kitchen supplies. But other than that it was clean, comfortable and in a great location!

We just returned from our 7 day trip. We couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Hosts were very quick to respond during booking and our trip. House had everything you needed. Loved having the ice machine! Perfect location to beach and bay. Can’t wait to return!

Nice location

My husband and I and our five kids (teens and tweens) enjoyed our stay here. The proximity to the beach was great! We only wished we had a golf cart to take things from the dock to the house (we tried to book it too late and they had none) but otherwise it was all manageable. Host was very responsive to questions and such.

Hurricane worn but still most beautiful

This home was everything we expected! Even with the hurricane damage it was a delightful house that gave us a fantastic week. The commercial ice maker was a big plus. Location to the beach and dock was good and the owners were absolutely fantastic to work with. We will definitely be back and will rent this property again.

Red tide was awful but we had an amazing stay due to the house.

This property was fantastic. Our favorite spot to spend time was the sun deck. It’s absolutely perfect. The kitchen is very well equipped. We would definitely stay again. We come every year so if they will have us we would stay! Thanks so much!

Girls trip

The house was in a great location, short walk to the beach, quiet neighborhood. The island is AMAZING if you are looking for a laid back, relaxing vacation. The back deck was great. The kitchen was stocked well enough to get by making your own food, we had to improvise for a few things. It was VERY well stocked with games, movies, entertainment. Towels and bedding were well stocked. The ice machine on the back deck was great! The host was very quick to respond and helpful with the minor maintenance issue we had. The biggest drawback for us was the cleanliness issue, which may be in part to being a pet-friendly rental...there was dog hair left from the previous guest on one of the beds and some on the floor and furniture and there seemed to be fleas left over from a previous visiting pet, as we came home with flea bites. Overall we enjoyed our time on the island and plan to visit again.

Happy New Year!

We were lucky enough that we were able to stay at this beautiful home in paradise for the week after Christmas! This home has it all - plenty of beds for everyone (I’m hoping to come back next year with more of my grownup kids!! You have all the comforts of home with wifi, big screen tvs, washer/dryer, dishwasher, garbage disposal, plenty of space, comfy furniture, amazing deck and an ice maker!! All this while staying in paradise - with incredible weather and a short walk to a beautiful beach! The owners are kind, responsive and helpful! The check in/out process was super simple. We couldn’t have asked for a better vacation! I am already counting the days till our next visit!

This property is NOT a good choice!!!

The house has ants and roaches, reason we left early!! The washer empties into the yard!!! Which I might add would make the EPA have a stroke! The yard smelled of raw sewage, could not set on deck because of stench. The house is nicely located to bad it is a dump. Will NEVER stay there again.

This is our second year staying at this property and this second stay was even better than the last! The kitchen well equipped, the ice maker is awesome for making cold drinks! Unlimited ice all week! The rooms are accommodating and very nicely decorated. The outdoor shower is amazing! We can't wait for our next stay!

We always enjoy coming to the island in this time was no different. The house was great.

Loved this home!

My husband and I took our five children here (ages 4-14) and loved our visit! The home was wonderful and the beach was beautiful! We can’t wait to go back! Everything we needed was there including beach toys and boogie boards.

Relaxing island getaway

There were 10 of us total staying 5 days and we had a very nice time. The island is quiet and safe, the house is charming and spacious enough for us all. Both the kitchen and living room deck doors open fully onto the screened deck which makes for a large indoor/outdoor space to gather. We used the grocery delivery service that the host recommended and everything was stocked and put away when we arrived. (Tip: be Very specific about sizes) The only issue was that we were planning on grilling our first night and there was no charcoal and lighter fluid. But we made something else and our host had some there the next day. Also, none of the video games worked which was a disappointment for the kids. Overall great trip and I would stay there again!

A good island choice

This was our second trip to the island and certainly not our last. The house was located a short walk from the beach. It was clean and all the beds were very comfortable. We had 9 people total and had plenty of room for all of us. The owners were responsive to any questions that we had. The screened in deck area was our primary place to hang out and very comfortable. The neighbors to the this house are wonderful people and very friendly. There is a grill but make sure you bring charcoal with you if you are planning on grilling. We would certainly reccomend this house to anyone that is going to visit the island.

Nice Home with a lot of sleeping room for multiple guest

We enjoyed the home for our short stay and would definitely consider again. They were very responsive to our questions. Has a lot of room for two families with kids. It was situated between the dock and the beach which satisfied all of us. Very well stocked with games for kids, even though we did not have any, but definitely a perk for those that do, especially for rainy days. We would return again, if it is available, as it met our needs.
