Sweet Dreams is a delightful authentic log cabin and is the perfect getaway for your Smoky Mountains vacation adventure.

As the owners of this charming log cabin, we greatly appreciate the 11 to 13 million visitors who share a love for the Smoky Mountains region. We want to do our part to make your visit here delightful and memorable by providing you with great lodging!

We appreciate the traveler's joy when they arrive at their vacation destination and discover that the lodging they booked is attractive, comfortable, reasonably priced, well-located and meticulously clean and well-cared for. We believe that you will find all of this when you arrive at Sweet Dreams Our goal is to provide a wonderful lodging experience to first-time guests, and to welcome them back year after year

cabin sits in 1.4 acres surrounded by trees and with a stream of water around the property with a not steep roads making the access easy to the cabin.

we also have a wheel chair ramp to the cabin for our disable guests.

BEWARE actually 0.0/10. This was meant to be a two-week family grad/Xmas trip, but the cabin was not rental-ready. We arrived after a long drive and could not get in due to a malfunctioning door lock and unclear instructions. After waiting in the cold and multiple delays from the host, my husband entered through an unlocked window. The do lock requires a non-intuitive “technique” due to poor installation, which should be repaired or clearly explained.That first night there was no Wi-Fi or TV service; this was evenrually turned back on. Then the TV required logging into personal streaming accounts.The next morning, serious plumbing issues appeared: flushing toilets or using the washer caused sewage to back up into a shower. The host was initially unresponsive. A plumber was eventually promised but did not fix the issue. One person arrived without tools, attempted plunging (which we had already been doing), said he would return with equipment, and never did.After multiple contacts with Vrbo, we were relocated to another property. Communication from the host was inconsistent and paused at times until Vrbo intervened.While the cabin looks nice, access issues, poor communication, and unresolved plumbing made it uninhabitable. The high rating does not reflect our experience and aligns more with several lower reviews posted in mid-2025. We are experienced users of vacation rental platforms. Other vacationers need to be aware of this info.

Host was great. Nice remote cabin, needs some updating and floor in master bedroom sinks in a bit. Dishwasher does not work. Most kitchen utensils, pots pans etc available. Over all good experience

The cabin was cute inside but the roads to get to it were terrible. Very curvy and hilly with places that you couldn't even see if any cars were coming with the road being only made for like one car. The one bedroom had an extremely high bed that made it very difficult to get into and the dishwasher didn't work. Also, the tv wouldn't work at first and we had to contact the owner to get it working. Then the septic backed up and caused feces to actually back up into the tub. It smelled terrible and the owner had someone come in and fix the problem which was on an outside line. The guy cleaned up some but not to my standard at all so I had to clean the bathrooms. There was no mop and bucket and the floors were a mess so I had to use disenfecting wipes to clean the floors. And the owner needs to do some pest control. There were alot of spiders in the cabin and hanging all over outside. Plus trash laying around and under the porch. Overall this was not a great week for us. We will never stay here again.

There is diffently a miss communication representing cabin. It was not a new cabin but new siding. Also was redone inside. Not the best work. Floor in bedroom 1 is soft around corner of bed, almost felt like it would fall through. Both beds are way too high. Had to go buy stool just to get in bed. Not set up for elder people. Leaking under kitchen sink..no dish rags to wash dishes r wipe up. Bought some. Floors uneven, easy to trip on. Some of the wiring doesn't look up to code.Through all of this we had a good time. Nice yard to walk dog. Some of the roads traveled was very narrow. Even though we had a good time wouldn't stay there again.

Cozy little cabin that's pretty close to all the tourist attractions but just secluded enough that its private and quite at nights. Pro's: Good communication with host, nice hot tub, plenty of toiletries, coffee, creamer, towels, etc. Everything was clean, beds where comfortable, strong WiFi. Cons: Be sure to read description, this is a remote cabin (not in a complex), so there is no pool (that is kind of misleading), and there was no video game station in the back room. We did enjoy our stay.

Very nice property, Johny the owner was extremely helpful and responsive to our needs. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed for the week. Will definitely recommend it to everyone!

We had several different issues. The place was clean, though the beds were uncomfortable, limited linens. Couldn't get the door unlocked, key code was glitchy. Floors had some areas that need repaired . No pool!! Nice pool in the pictures? .

This place was super cute and it was clean and organized when we showed up, the hot tub was nice but it was too hot outside for us to be in it long. The kitchen had mostly everything you would need to cook dinner!! Host was very nice and when we needed something he was very helpful! would for sure stay here again!!

This is not a new cabin. The picture’s & description need to be updated. The sofa does not work. We moved the loveseat & sofa around so we could look straight at the tv since we both need recliners & the loveseat was the only one to work. The master bed is a platform bed but has a boxspring & mattress on it. Though it was very comfortable, I did have to use the steps for the hot tub to get in bed (I’m 5,5” and the top of the mattress was above my hips). There is no video game in the bunk bed room. The hot tub does not get hot enough (it should be at 102 but only goes to 93). The stream is dried up. Hornets in the eves which meant we could not sit outside. We tried using hornet spray but think there is a nest inside the eves. Fishing & swimming is about 30 minutes away & cost 5 per person. The renter did reimburse me 100 for the inconvenience. Having bad knees, the main reasons for picking this listing was the ramp & recliners. It is a peaceful area. I just think the owners of any listing have a responsibility to update their listing when things change.

Disappointing stay with False advertisement

As a host myself, I take pride in offering the cleanest and best experience to our guest. With that being said, we were highly disappointed with our stay. The heading that reads brand new cabin is absolutely NOT true!! Very ran down and upkeep is horrible. Uneven flooring and floor giving out in master bedroom. One of the selling points, aside from the ramp was the power reclining couches for my elderly mother who has to sleep in a reclined position. The loveseat did not have a power cord and only one end of the couch worked. Thank goodness one end worked!! The couches look nice in pictures but they are deceiving. The ramp helped my mother but needs repairs. Both toilets were extremely low making it difficult to get up from. The master bed is extremely tall for anyone having trouble with getting in tall beds. The grass was not mowed and flower beds taken over by weeds. I could go on and on with the negative. Light fixtures not working etc. For those of you with kiddos, pictures show an arcade machine and there isn’t one. Had to message host day of for checkin details. He text back on my personal phone and seemed he was going to communicate well. Until, I inquired about a possible different option then there was no further communication. The location wasn’t bad. Scroll down to the poor ratings, they are on target. Someone stated they didn’t understand the 10 ratings and I 100% agree!! Finally, someone said this is not a brand new cabin as well, such false advertisement!!

Johny was prompt when I had questions. The cabin is well appointed. I made use of the jacuzzi while there. I will book it again should I find myself in the area.

We came for a volleyball tournament for two days. This property was highly accommodating and close to our venue. Big yard. Hardly any traffic. We enjoyed our stay

Not the best experience

We never received the welcome email with the instructions or keypad info. Not a big deal, I reached out and luckily got a quick response. However there wasn’t a key and the keypad was reset so we had no way of locking the cabin when we were gone. We were unable to sit on the front porch or use the hot tub because it was over taken by wasps and carpenter bees. I reached out to let them know they may want to have an exterminator come out and instead sent two gentleman that did not speak English, so communication was difficult. They showed up with cans of spray and proceeded to spray and swat at the insects. (It did not help). Also the description makes it sound like it is a secluded area, it is not. You are right on top of the neighbors.
