Welcome to the Lake Lover's Paradise! This 3 Bed/2 Bath lake home is only steps away from Clearwater Community boat ramp. Conley Bottom Marina has all of your essentials just 5 minutes across the lake, including boat and watercraft rentals. Enjoy the view of Lake Cumberland from the covered porch, relax by a camp fire or have your morning coffee on the porch swing. The neighborhood is family friendly with a culdesac, porch swings and easy swimming just at the bottom of the ramp. Great placement on the main lake allows easy access to all access points, sites and great swimming & fishing coves. As you have a relaxing swim, enjoy the views of shinbone or enjoy fishing. This home has a pull through driveway with multiple access points for easier trailer parking & turnaround.

This 3 bed/2 bath home comes with all you will need to have the getaway of your dreams. You'll enjoy approx.1,600 square feet inside, and with multiple covered porches, extend your living space both upstairs and downstairs through the sliding glass doors. The covered porch spaces have a porch swing, table/chairs, grill, lights and fan. The extended gravel area has plenty of space near the fire pit with seating .

Inside the home, the first floor contains a kitchen stocked with all of the essentials... just bring your food! The open concept floor plan includes dining area and living room with new leather reclining sofas, TV (with Apple TV). There is an electric fireplace unit. The the master bedroom (with king bed) is upstairs, as well as 1 full bath (tub/shower). The downstairs has sliding doors walking out to the bottom covered porch, swing and fire pit area. This floor has a living room with wood burning fireplace (not included for use in rental), TV/DVD player, 2 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full) a full bath (shower), sleeper futon and washer/dryer.

The home comes with a DVD player and assortment of DVDs and family games. Our home is within walking distance to the lake, but can be a steep walk back (Lake Cumberland topography can lead to some steep hills to the lake if you are new to this lake). If you prefer to drive, you'll find parking as well. Please note that as of Fall 2022, the dock is not permitted to be used with the property due to community regulations.

Everything was great besides the dock and ramp situation was told was okay to put a 26 foot boat in by the host, other nieghbors said that I would fall off the ramp because the ramp broke off at the bottom so didn't risk it and had to drive 30 minutes to the boat ramp other then that a great place to stay if you have a small boat !

Hello, I appreciate your feedback. With the lake pool being down roughly 15-20 ft vs normal summer pool due to the drought, our ramps around the lake are lower than usual. While many still use the ramp each day, there are a number of ramps in the area that can provide different access if desired. I wish I could provide dock access, but unfortunately this is not allowed by our community dock provisions. Absolutely loved staying here. Close to the water. Even if you didn’t have a water day, there’s plenty to do just at the cabin. Will definitely book again!

Very friendly host

We came down for a weekend get away and ended being hit by a semi totally our car and sending us to the hospital the host was very understanding and allowed us to stay longer till we could get family to pick us up overall the house was very nice and we had a great time aside from the accident we will definitely rebook

Lake House Delight!

Very clean property. It was just as advertised. The deck on the front has some comfy reclining lawn chairs and a nice Weber grill. Great for sitting on at night and enjoying the very quiet, peaceful neighborhood. Had a very pleasant experience! Would recommend.

THE BEST!!

This home is so cozy! Nice view of the lake east to find! The owner was amazing got back quickly the house was spotless. Have NOTHING bad to say about this place fun for all ages! We had 2-8 year old. Definitely felts like a home away from home. At night time it was nice to play corn hole and cozy up to the fire and have s’mores.

Nice place

We loved the lot, nestled in the trees and within walking distance of the lake. We could see the lake from the spacious balcony, which was equipped with a large BBQ. The yard was perfect for the toddler in our group: a nice swing, a large toy erector with small rocks to pick up, and a firepit for s'mores. The open floor place was great for gathering. We enjoyed the comfy reclining sofa and chair. Nice kitchen with high end dishwasher. Good washer and dryer on the lower level.

We booked this home because of the close proximity to the water. The home was perfect for our weekend girls trip. Plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare all your meals. Although we loved the little restaurant up the street for a meal as well. We had a few minor issues and i have to say the promptness of the owner contacting and fixing the issues cannot be beat. Was an absolute treasure to work with. We will recommend this home to everyone that wants to visit this area. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Lake Lover’s Paradise

We celebrated our 23rd Anniversary at this property and it didn’t disappoint. We only used the upstairs as our other family couldn’t make it. The lake was down about 20+ feet so the stairs were a beast to get up after a day of boating. However, we loved every minute of it. Thanks for helping us make another anniversary for the books.

Perfect Getaway

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this property! It was perfect for our family and our neighbor’s family. The teenage girls shared the 3rd bedroom and the younger siblings slept on couches. From the moment I booked, I was impressed by the communication and attention to detail. Melissa is incredibly helpful and responsive and a joy to book with. The home had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed our coffee on the balcony with quietness and outdoor views every morning. We did not use the Richardson Rd ramp to launch a boat, and used another ramp closer to other family instead. We did walk down one evening with the kids and enjoyed the waterfront views, colorful sky and skipping stones. Like others have said, it is quite a workout to hike back up. We recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Great family trip!

The owner does a great job of letting you know what to expect when you get down there which was much appreciated. YES - the boat ramp is very steep and to walk from the bottom of the ramp to the house is quite a task - not for young kids, elderly or anyone with joint problems! That being said, we had no issues putting our boat in every day there. The directions that she gives to the actual house could have used some updating since it's a bit confusing to get to. The house was very clean, with all of the basics that you'll need. The back deck was a really relaxing place to hang out, especially to have a meal under the nice ceiling fan out there. For grocery that's close, your best bet is the IGA. If you need a full grocery trip, you'll be headed 30 mins to Somerset. Overall, this was a great trip with a host that is incredibly nice, cares, and was VERY quick to respond in all cases. Thank for sharing your home with us!

Great location for #LakeLife

Melissa was great to deal with and was easily accessible when needed. The house was VERY clean and the location was perfect if you have your own boat or are using Conley Bottom. We rented a deck boat from there and arranged for pick up from the community dock. This has to be arranged the day before and then you call when you are ready for pickup between 8:00-8:30AM. They will bring you back anytime before 8:00PM if you want to stay at the marina for dinner and only charge $25 for your group. There is also a boat ramp right there and they have a great boat dock…literally a 5 minute walk. Just remember, Cumberland is beautiful but part of its beauty is the cliffs. That means the walk down to the boat ramp and dock is a walk down which means the walk back is a walk up… Overall a great experience and had exactly what we needed for our family of 4. A clean place to rest our heads after a fun day on the lake with a washer and dryer to clean our towels to be ready to do it again the next day!

Past Reviews Misleading

Not pleased with boat ramp, but used. Owner said there was a turn around at top of hill. There is, but not big enough for a pickup truck pulling a pontoon, so we had to back all the way down the hill to ramp which is very steep and surrounded by cliffs. Even looked for another ramp to use close by, but could not find any. Definitely not a ramp for an inexperienced driver. The worst part though is that several previous reviews indicated that the best thing about this place was that there was a dock for your boat. The only docks around were private docks that had a locked gate blocking us from them and one marked "no tresspassing. Contacted owner on how to access dock and was told no dock included in rental. This is not the kind of ramp where you want to take your boat in and out of lake - so we did what we had to do to leave boat in water. Very upsetting - owner needs to specify that there is no longer a dock to use, or take the reviews saying that there is off of their listing. House was clean and no complaints other than could not get TV to do anything but play DVD's.

I’m sorry you feel this way, Sherrie. I clearly do not want guests to ever feel mislead. To clarify, the dock is no longer included in 2023 due to community regulations. It was removed from the listing in 2022 and was not included in any paperwork you received. Regarding the ramp steepness, I advertise this in the posting and Lake Cumberland is known for this topography. There is a turnaround mid way down the ramp near the parking and it has painted markings to outline it. My other guests have brought pontoons, as well as our community uses it daily without issue. The hills are steep for sure, which is part of the beauty of lake Cumberland. If you had reached out, I could have shared other optional ramps that could have been easier for you. I help many of my guests make plans before, during and after their visit and would have done the same for you. Finally, as I advertise, the TV is streaming services. I shared the instructions with you and would have been happy to troubleshoot if you didn’t know how to access. I have not had any other misunderstandings with my guests and strive for great communication.

The hostess and host were very responsive and eager to help. We had great communication. The property was great! The house was nice and clean and just as ordered. The kids had the whole bottom level for themselves and we had the top. It was a very enjoyable stay. And if we are ever back in the area would definitely stay here again. Would recommend if you are looking for a quiet and peaceful getaway to Lake Cumberland.

Overall, property was suitable enough to stay in for a few days. Best features were the deck, lower patio, and use of the dock space. Kitchen, dining and living spaces were spacious, clean, and comfortable.

Amazing first trip to Lake Cumberland!

This house is a gem. Everything is clean and well-cared for. The hostess is super-communicative. The covered deck is great as is the fire pit. Even the main appliances (dishwasher, washer/dryer) are nice. The house is a walk/short drive to a boat ramp and is only a 10 minute boat ride from Conley Bottom Marina where you can rent jet skis, boats, etc. This was our family's first trip to Lake Cumberland and we hope to come again! One note - the house numbers on the street are not in order...you have to go all the way down the road, close to the boat ramp, to get to the house. Also, internet is a little spotty on the roads leading up to the house so you may want to print or write down directions before you leave! Once you get there the WiFi is great and phone service on the Lake is not an issue. Thanks to the hosts for such a great stay!

The dock for the boat was a wonderful bonus. We had a great time on the deck and at the fire. The property owner was fantastic to work with.

Lake cumberland.

The house is awesome. Perfect for 2 couples. Location on the lake is perfect. Dock space is good. Ramp is definitely a neighborhood ramp. Need to take your time but of course it is not crowded. ❤️
