Great location in Half Moon Bay and the condo was perfect for our family of 4! The AC worked great and the beds were comfy. Great view of sunrise every morning from the balcony too! Good snorkeling just out to the left of their little beach and a few great restaurants in walking distance to the condo.

Loved our vacation!

We had a great time at La Bahia #3. The staff was helpful and the weather was beautiful. We loved renting bikes and riding around Akumal. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone. We hope to be back one day!

Cozy beach condo

We loved this cozy condo on the beach. It was perfect for our family of four. Don Miguel was a gracious host, and Rosa kept it clean and comfortable. Very well managed. Highly recommended!

Gorgeous views!

This was our second trip to stay in LaBahia #3 and we loved it as much this time as we did our first trip. The condo is clean and spacious, the staff wonderful and the view is outstanding!!! WOW, what a wonderful vac...

WOW, what a wonderful vacation, we will be back. Snorkeling with the turtles was a great experience. Condo was perfect, cute mexican decorations, beds were comfy and enjoyed all the books! Thanks.

Magnificent Condo and 2nd time back!

We just loved this condo so much we came back exactly one year later for another visit. The amazing views, the amazing staff, the locals too... all amazing. We even got to watch baby turtles leave there nest and run to the ocean! This condo is great for families, couples or a friend group getaway. If your looking for a quiet, spacious, relaxing stay in a beautiful hidden gem of a beachtown, this is definitely the place!

Loved our stay here. Exactly as pictured and described. The beach was beautiful. There is snorkeling directly from the beach. Do bring water shoes and your own snorkel gear, though the unit has a basket of mismatched gear available. This a small condo building with about 8 units. There were always ample beach chairs available. There are a couple restaurants within a quarter mile to the north, and the town proper with a large number of restaurants about a mile to the south. We walked, but golf cart and bike rentals were available as well. Our driver did have some trouble finding the place; it does not seem to have a fixed address.

Wonderful for our family!

We loved this place. It is the perfect size for a family of five. Plenty of closet and storage space. The kitchen is well-appointed with all the essentials. The view is amazing! Marcial, the caretaker, was very friendly and resourceful. The place is very clean and bright. We loved it!!!

La Bahia was a great little condo!

Right on the beach

Clean, close to everything in Half Moon Bay and Akumal. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you need. Linens, beach towels, shampoo, dish washing detergent, spices. Air conditioning if needed, large water cooler, nice size refrigerator. Right on the beach, plenty of chairs available. Snorkeling is always amazing. Very helpful employees. Would stay here again.

Relaxing and Comfortable!

We loved our stay at La Bahia #3 and were sad when we had to leave! It was perfect for our family of four. The condo was spacious and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The view is amazing and we spent a lot of time on the balcony just relaxing and enjoying the peace and quiet. My teenaged daughters also appreciated the free wi-fi and my husband was happy that the tv had cable so he could watch his basketball game. We will definitely be back!

STUNNING condo! We will definitely stay again!

This is a beautiful condo! It felt like HOME! So much character in the whole complex- but these owners clearly put a lot of love and thought into making guests comfortable. You can see the ocean from the master bed, the kitchen sink, and even the shower! The back patios are even charming. I only wish we could've stayed longer. Management was very helpful (Hector) as were owners themselves. What a find!

Amazing vacation

The condo was absolutely perfect. What a location! The food in the area is unbelievable. We rented bikes. We rented a golf cart. We loved the beach. Everything was perfect. The location of the beach is the best in the area. The condo is immaculate. You can’t go wrong with this place. The concierge was very helpful. All the people in the area and locals are very nice. We loved it!

Amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about this place! From check in to check out! Everyone was super attentive. We had an issue with the electricity and they were right on top of it! The hosts were very responsive! :) I would definitely come back and stay! Housekeeping was there and came every other day which was perfect for my mother and myself!

Feels Like Home with an Ocean View

We felt right at home at this place. It was so nice! The beds were comfy and we had everything we could possibly need. However, sargasso was very bad and had begun to smell. The management company actually moved us to another home. Once we got to the new place, we actually missed this place! We had only been there a day and went through withdrawal. Akumal is such a neat little village and everyone is so nice! Great food, fun, and sun!

Wonderful get away!

Awesome place

The view is incredible. The location is great. You can walk to a couple of restaurants for dinner (La Lunita which had great food and La Buenna Vida where the food wasn't good still a nice place to chill). The main beach in Akumal is the place to hang out for the day. I recommend renting a Palapa with a couple of lounge chairs for $20 next to the restaurant there (La Hoya restaurant) The snorkeling is the best anywhere. Plenty of turtles... Akumal has had more development including Secrets Hotel but Akumal has retained its charm through the years. My wife and I truly enjoyed the condo and spent hours in the Hammock. Highly recommend the place!!!

Beach is a no go. Sea grass up to three feet tall stacked on beach. Smells terrible.

All though this is a beautiful condo, this will be my last visit. The last two times visiting Half Moon Bay have been disappointing. Sea grass is stacked on the beach three feet high and emits a disgusting aroma. If you are looking for a beautiful white sandy beach you will not find it in Half Moon Bay.

Hi Sherry, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay! The seaweed can be hard to predict and does not affect all of the beaches equally and can change from week to week. Normally it only affects the warmer summer months but unfortunately, we have been experiencing unusually prolific amounts of seaweed. We are working with the community to find a sustainable and effective solutions to remove the seaweed and maintain the beaches. We are hoping to start enacting some of these solutions soon. Quiet, no crowds, had the beach pretty much for ourselves and beautiful views from the balcony. walking distance from la Vita Buena restaurant. Snorkeling directly from the front. It is a rocky sea floor and beach shoes are needed. We found a sandy path about 100 yards from La Bahia. Santa Cruz Cenote is awesome. The Maya Taco restaurant in Acumal pueblo, delicious food.

A serious piece of heaven...

Staying at this condo in Akumal was a serious piece of heaven... The private location, amazing panoramic beach front views were amazing from sunrise to sunset. The decor, the bedding, bathrooms and other condo amenities made our stay simply amazing. The staff in the office were very kind and always there to help. They also had beach cruiser bikes to rent for 7$ a day that made it easy to get into the town. If your looking for a romantic getaway, a girls getaway trip or even a family trip without al the hustle bustle of a city, this is the place. The town has plenty of restaurants and convenient stores to supply your needs. Just a few doors down there is a restaurant called "La Beuna Vida," we literally ate their for every meal. Also, the owner was very easy to work with and seems to be a very kind person. We most definitely will return!!!
