When you step inside, Lol Ka’naab 7 feels bright and welcoming, with floral fabrics and natural light giving the space a quaint charm. The first bedroom has been furnished with a queen bed, and in the second bedroom, there are three twin beds, perfect for kids or all your single friends. Each of the bedrooms has air conditioning units and ensuite bathrooms.

Lol Ka’naab 7 has an open floor plan that allows light and fresh air to fill the living and dining areas. The kitchen is fully equipped with enough seating at the breakfast bar to accommodate four people and the living room has a large built-in couch that looks out towards the bay. You'll find the private patio through a pair of large sliding glass doors. The patio is furnished with a small seating area and a colorful hammock for siestas. On the ground level, there is a pool where you can stretch out on a lounger and let the warmth of the Caribbean sun melt away the hassles and headaches of the rise and grind.

Lol Ka’naab 7 has the features of your dream vacation for a price that can make it a reality, your hardest decision will be whether you'd rather sip your morning coffee poolside or while lounging on the beach.

Happy customer

Property was very comfortable, spacious and well maintained. We loved our stay and appreciated the daily cleaning and well stocked kitchen. Easy walk to the Buena Vida for dinner and drinks as well as to the Yal Ku lagoon with fun snorkelling out front. We loved our stay.

We loved that it was right on the beach. Although it was rocky to get into the water. But Snorkeling was amazing. Akumal beach is near and we had a rental car to get around.

We stayed at Lol Ka’naab in Akumal from February 7–14 and had a wonderful experience overall. One thing to note: the bathrooms are open to the bedrooms (no doors), and the master bedroom opens to the living area. It was surprising at first, but we quickly adjusted and it didn’t affect our stay.The location on Half Moon Bay is incredible. The water is shallow, calm, and perfect for swimming far out. The coral reefs are full of tropical fish—we even saw a green sea turtle and stingrays. Currents are mild, making it great for kids. Sargassum was minimal during our stay and didn’t stop us from swimming. With very little tide change, you can easily walk the entire bay and explore coral and seashells.The condo is within walking distance of several excellent restaurants, especially Jungle Café, Turtle Bay Bakery & Café and the La Buena Vida.The area feels safe and relaxed. We appreciated the daily housekeeping, fresh towels, and large jug of drinking water. Yal Ku Lagoon and Akumal Bay are also a short walk away, and there’s a safe ATM about 15–20 minutes away near the Akumal entrance arch.Overall, we highly recommend Lol Ka’naab for its peaceful, laid-back atmosphere—a refreshing alternative to a typical all-inclusive resort.

Super quiet and private

Excellent location in quiet street directly to the beach. Nice apartment with the facilities needed. The beach is nice but rocky. Easy access to the Laguna for snorkeling and don’t forget to svim with turtles. The pool was super nice for the kids, and we practically had it to our selves. 30 min drive to Playa del Carmen or Tulum for sandy beaches.

Beautiful property and beautiful views!

This property is very clean and exactly as it is described in the listing. We had no issues with our stay. It is a quiet neighborhood and walking distance to several restaurants and not too far to town. Definitely a perfect fit for our family. My only complaint is that we eventually had to come back home to snow and winter :(

Wonderful laid back vacation

We loved our condo, perfect for our family of five. Best view and location, walks to market, shops and our favorite- La buena vida- were a hilight. We used the pool everyday. The seaweed was on the beach so we didn’t swim in the ocean unfortunately, but went on day trips snorkeling, exploring ruins and cenotes. Gorgeous vacation! Thank You!

Can’t wait to return

I don’t often write reviews, but I think it’s indicated here. We could not have beeen more satisfied with our rental at Akumal. The place was exactly as advertised and impeccably clean! The staff were available and found a baby bath for us when we asked. Nikte 5 is a perrrrfect place for families with small children. Would highly recommend this condo, company, and experience. The flat was comfortable, clean and had wonderful views of the sea, especially the sunrises! Akumul is not very big or lively which suited us but there was a great cafe and bar very close to the apartment. If you want to prepare meals, then you need to shop at Tulum. WiFi was very disappointing. Great customer service.

Beautifull place to visit

Akumal town is beautifull and the whole familly loved it. People is very nice and the entire community is very nice. The only issue with our stay was the condo itself. The kitchen was a little too small for us and the dishes are too old in my opinion. The beach here is not very walkable since theres a lot of rocks, on the other hand is very nice for snorkeling with kids. I rated low on property manager because my flight got delayed and when i contacted the after hour manager around 12 am i didnt get an answer untill next day, but the good thing is that key to enter the condo was just outside the door in a lockbox. Also theres no dryer or washer and we really think is necessary to have one there, specially if you are gonna be going into the water. Overall place is very nice and close to many beautifull places like ruins cenotes and other natural areas.

We’re sorry to hear the condo didn’t fully meet your expectations. We’ve noted your comments about the kitchen and dishes and will review them with the owner. While there’s no washer and dryer on-site (as mentioned in the listing), there is a launderette in Akumal Pueblo. Regarding late-night contact, we provide detailed self-check-in instructions and a lockbox for convenience. While we aim to assist as quickly as possible, immediate responses in the middle of the night can’t always be guaranteed. Thank you again for staying with us! Happy travels :)

Paradise on Earth!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything about this holiday was magical. The apartment is in the perfect position, right in the middle of Half Moon Bay, so just a few minutes' walk to the various restaurants, cafes and gift shops. Check out La Buena Vida restaurant, which has half-priced drinks 5-6pm every day, and the Jungle Cafe, which does a great breakfast. Yalku Lagoon, 15 minutes walk, is definitely worth a visit. There's even an outdoor gym, although we reckoned it was a little too hot to be working out - the sea providing a rather more refreshing option for exercise, but each to their own. If you need any advice or help, the property management company is directly across the street, next to the small but handy food shop (if you want a proper supermarket, there's a very large one just off the freeway, about ten minutes' drive north). As for the apartment, it was always immaculate, cleaned every day by the friendly and discreet staff. Very comfortable beds. Excellent showers. Good WiFi. All in all, highly recommended. We'll definitely be coming again.

Paradise

We had an overall great experience. The property was nicer than expected. It was super clean and the staff was helpful. It had a spectacular view. There were a lot of loud kids but when they left it was tranquil and the chaise lounges at the edge of the sea were a great place to rest and read. The only complaint was the seaweed. We were told in the paperwork that it comes in April or May but it was there in full force blocking access to the sea and made it impossible to walk the beach. Neighbors told us it has been there at this time of year for several years at least. Other properties tried to clear it but this one did nothing which was disappointing but did not change our minds about the place. I would have liked to been made aware though. We would definitely return. The view was unparalleled.
