A four bedroom, two bath house that sleeps ten. Large dinning room with large round table, third floor playroom, grand living room, and lovely kitchen all make for a setting that encourages family time, friendship bonding, and memories. The large yard with fire pit is perfect for barbecuing and corn-hole, while the ample parking just makes life simpler. The entire yard is fenced to facilitate use by kids and/or pets.
Use this house as home-base to explore Mystic, or relax and enjoy each other in this classic Mystic getaway.

Great Location & Space

Such a lovely space. The location was fantastic! For an older house it's very cozy and very warm in the winter. This was perfect for us for a quick weekend away.

Stay for Coast Guard Academy Family Weekend

Held all of us comfortably, convenient to the CGA and to Mystik for shopping and dining. Had a good stay with family joining us there.

Old home charm

5 of us with a dog. Overall, we had a nice experience. Spacious, nicely painted, comfortable old home, with old style hardwood floors and a nice fenced in yard. Not short, but not too long of a walk into town for most of us. Only the grandmothers with walkers wouldn't do it, but the rest of us walked the dog into town several times. Easier to shop in Groton than drive through Mystic to get to grocery store. We learned you can park at the bank in town for free when it's closed. Host was very responsive to inquiries. Easy check in/out process. We would definitely stay there again.

The absolute perfect Mystic getaway!

This was the perfect home for our family’s stay in Mystic. Plenty of space, plenty of parking, a spacious yard and amazing location. James was amazingly responsive to all of requests. You won’t be disappointed with your stay in Mystic with this home!

A wonderful home, with plenty of room.

We really enjoyed our stay, it had everything we needed in a clean and spacious atmosphere. It’s a quick walk into town, and the fire pit was wonderful to enjoy. Thanks for hosting James!

Cozy, clean, classic family vacation

I can't say enough good things about this stay! We were very comfortable and had everything we needed for a week, even with babies and kids in our group! The area around the house was safe and very pleasant for meandering walks. We all enjoyed easy access to restaurants and events happening in historic Mystic. Thank you to the owners for their hospitality.

Family Vacation/Wedding

This home is perfect for a group visiting the area. A beautiful walk to downtown. The house itself is cozy with any amenity you may need. Spacious backyard for playing corn hole, which the owner provided, a fire pit and grill for cooking out. The owner also provided refreshments waiting in the refrigerator upon our arrival. The whole experience was wonderful!

Perfect!

Cousins yearly gathering! This year we chose Mystic. James was quick to respond to my questions and he was very accommodating. The home is charming, clean and the many twin beds was a plus! The round table sold me as it allows for great conversations, game playing, etc. The house is a quick walk (downhill) to downtown….all uphill on the way back! Loved our stay!

Great location!

The house was perfect for our annual mini college reunion. It was a nice walk to downtown Mystic. After our fabulous dinner at Mix, the uphill walk back to the house was a great way to burn some calories! The house was very clean and had ample room to chill out and catch up with friends. We would have liked to sit outside around the firepit, but it was pouring rain. Next time!

Beautiful area, walkable to dowtown

The house was exactly as described, had everything we needed, and even exceeded expectations in several ways. The owner was very responsive to inquiries. We had 9 adults in town for a graduation and the sleeping arangements were very accommodating. Downtown Mystic was a .5 mile walk (this did include a rather steep incline). We spent a lot of time in the yard while enjoying the outdoors and the firepit. We walked to town nightly. We highly recommend this location and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Great location, description off

The filter puts it as having a hot tub. It does not. Then you go to listing and it says spa/whirpool tub, it does not have either. Property is beautiful, warm, manager is friendly and helpful. Couple items missing though he was responsive upon hearing about the missing items. Overall great place after we got over the disappointment over no hot tub.

Perfect weekend getaway

Rented this house for a weekend trip with the family. Upon arrival, the home was extremely clean and some beverages were waiting for us in the fridge (this was a first for us and we’ve been renting VRBOs for many years), a wonderful touch! Plenty of space for my family of 5 to relax, eat, and sleep. The solo stove and comfortable Adirondack chairs in the spacious, fenced in yard were perfect for a relaxing fire. Plenty of delicious restaurants to walk to in downtown Mystic. Lots of neighborhood streets with beautiful historical homes, easily accessible to walk the dog. My daughter said, “let’s make this an Easter tradition every year!” I think we just might!! We highly recommend this home for your next trip to Mystic!

Fit our needs very well

This home was very pleasant to stay in and in a good location. It fit our needs as a family of 5 adults very well. I would highlight the wonderful kitchen windows looking out on the yard, the good-size yard itself, and the solo stove fire pit with the solid chairs surrounding it.

A Thanksgiving to remember

This was a great place for two families with 4 children under 10 to visit their grandparents for Thanksgiving. The dining table was able to fit all 10 of us comfortably and we really enjoyed being able to interact with everyone. The attic space was awesome for the children to play independently. Overall the house was clean, well provisioned, and very comfortable. We hope to stay here again for future visits.

Mystic film festival: great rental!

What an awesome stay we had! Mystic is charming, walkable, and this lovely house was as perfect location for us as we navigated the various locations of the Mystic Film Fest. Everything was clean, bright, orderly, and extra drinks in the fridge. Thank you!!

Mystic charmer

Lovely old New England home, which comfortably fit our party of two teens and 7 adults. Walking distance to charming downtown Mystic. Owner was very helpful in getting us set up for our Thanksgiving stay.

Coast Guard Academy visit

We came to visit our child who attends the USCGA. The property was about 15 min from the school, near shopping and great restaurants, and a good get away. The owner was easy to communicate with, and I would definitely stay there again.

Mystic vacation

Wonderful time in Mystic. This house has plenty of space and beds. Very nice linens etc. We enjoyed using the fire pit at night. Would reccomend to others.

pleasant convenient mystic stay

Very pleased with this spacious VRBO conveniently close and walkable to downtown mystic. The house provided all we needed included two large bedrooms, 1 small bedroom and a loft on 3rd floor. Friendly host and responsive. Outdoor bbq, big lawn, and a fire pit is a big plus, along with yard games. The mystic town as so much to offer as well so this location very convenient. If/when back in mystic will try it again, thanks James, Johan

My wife and I met in Mystic and we love it! I purchased this house when I was in the Navy, and rented it out full-time for a number of years while we moved around the country. We were fortunate enough to eventually be able to use it as a weekend house. As our family grew and kids got older we decided to rent it as a vacation rental since we are unable to use it as much as we used to. We hope you enjoy the house as much as we have!
