Grab your copy of ‘Misty’ and head to Chincoteague Island as everyone loves a little Vitamin Sea! This veteran-owned cottage boasts three bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full & 2 twin beds) as well as two full bathrooms and is sure to make you feel right at home on our cozy island. This home features an open floor plan kitchen and living room, perfect for family entertainment. There is a TV in every room: the family room has Cable TV, and the bedrooms TVs have Roku to stream all your favorite shows, movies and channels. The kitchen has four island stools, a small two-seater table, and a coffee table that lifts up to enjoy all of your meals with space for everyone. We’re even pet friendly!
Located within walking distance to Memorial Park where you’ll find a public boat ramp, playground, and the location for viewing our world famous Chincoteague Island Pony Swim. We’re located even closer to the Chincoteague Fireman’s Carnival Grounds! Only a quick three mile drive or bike ride to the Assateague Island Wildlife Refuge, home of the famous wild ponies, and Assateague Island National Seashore. Enjoy the pristine beaches and soak up that Vitamin Sea!
After a day at the beach, come home to a refreshing outdoor shower and a picnic on our outdoor picnic tables. There is a charcoal grill outside for your use - just remember to take all safety precautions! Enjoy your evening snuggled up on the couch watching a movie, hanging by the backyard fire pit, or unwinding with a good book on the front porch. After a few days at the beach experiencing Chincoteague's small town southern charm, along with the abundance of family fun activities, you'll be sure to take home some much needed Vitamin Sea!

We loved our stay here! The cottage is clean, comfy and convenient. We had plenty of space for the 3 of us. We enjoyed the evenings relaxing on the patio and front porch. We definitely reccomend staying here.

This home was perfect for our long weekend stay!

My sister and my two daughters spent 3 days in this beautiful home (along with my two 4-legged babies) and it was absolutely perfect for us! Plenty of room, the front sunroom was perfect and the dogs loved the spacious back yard!

The was very clean. We also were pleased it was pet friendly. The location is good. We have stayed at a property very close to Vitamin Sea. We liked the quite location. We would stay here again.

A pleasant if barebones accommodation

We had a very nice time at the Vitamin Sea house. The location is convenient to the beach and walking trails, as well as restaurants and attractions in town. But it’s on a quiet residential street so we felt we had peace and quiet and privacy. The backyard fire pit and grill are great features. The beds were comfy and the fridge and freezer were spacious. We were able to sign in to Hulu using the Roku. The front porch is a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee while listening to the breeze and birdsong. Communication around the stay was very good and we appreciated that the host made an exception to allow us to stay only 2 nights instead of 3. We were disappointed that basic linens would incur an additional fee but we brought our own without incident. We also would have appreciated a few more amenities, such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, and K-cups (there is no coffee maker, just a keurig but cups not provided), and soap or body wash in the showers. The layout of the living room area made it difficult for four adults to eat a meal together at the table without having to move furniture.

Super stay at Vitamin Sea :)

Our family of 6 had a great stay at Vitamin Sea! The house was a perfect size for two adults and four kids. A storm tried to stop our beach time and we did spend more time inside than usual but the house was cozy and the kids were thrilled to have a tv in every room! It was equipped with all necessary things for cooking and comfort. The shower in the main bedroom did not get super hot and the handle might need replacing or paint, but this was no big deal. The owners were pleasant to deal with and responsive. Thanks for allowing us to stay at Vitamin Sea!

Vitamin Sea was just what we needed!

Loved this gem of a house! It's clearly been updated somewhat recently and done with tremendous care. It's beautifully decorated, yet comfortable and beachy, so you don't have to worry about sandy feet, for example. The beds and pillows were all extremely comfortable, the front porch was lovely (and a good view of all the fireworks), and the place was impeccably clean.

Charming Chincoteague Cottage

Beautifully decorated and provisions for a wonderful stay. This home was spotless. Chincoteague is a lovely place to enjoy being with family, friends, pups. The ponies, beaches and everything in between, just perfect. We got to see ponies at Chincoteague parks and at the northern entrance at Assateague. It was a wonderful week. Thank you for making it a perfect vacation!!

A winner!

This was our first time bringing our dog to the island. Vitamin Sea was a great fit for our family. I was worried about the living space being a bit small, and one more comfortable chair to accompany the couch would have been nice. I recommend removing the tiny table and 2 chairs and replacing them with a loveseat or easy chair. While staying at the cottage we rarely all ate at the same time, so staggered use of the bar stools was ok, along with the seating around the fire pit. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable and arranged to provide a good amount of privacy and personal space to retreat to as needed. We found this home to be very well stocked with items such as TP, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry soap, etc. It's nice to not have to run to the store for these basics the day of arrival, so we are appreciative. The house is in excellent condition with fun ocean themed and pony decor done tastefully. The location on Bunting is great as we could get to the dog park in 7 minutes, Assateague Island in about 10 minutes, and most everything else in even less time. Willoughby is a mini schnauzer mix and he weighs 40 pounds. He made friends with the goats next door and it was quite comical to see them interacting, with all the stubby tails wagging happily! One problem we encountered during our stay is that the mosquitos were abundant. This is a long time issue on the island, but it seemed worse than other years. Our enjoyment of the back yard was limited because of this.

Cute and cozy

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at vitamin sea! The property is well maintained and conveniently located near downtown and just a short distance to the beach. We were also able to bring our dog which was a major plus! Loved the fire pit which was a great place to relax and roast marshmallows at the end of the day.

Enjoyed our stay…again.

2nd year at Vitamim Sea. Such a nice, relaxing place. Nicely appointed, clean, and comfortable. Love that you added some more chairs to the patio. Love the outdoor shower! Our weather was a little chilly but we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
