Grab your copy of ‘Misty’ and head to Chincoteague Island as everyone loves a little Vitamin Sea! This veteran-owned cottage boasts three bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full & 2 twin beds) as well as two full bathrooms and is sure to make you feel right at home on our cozy island. This home features an open floor plan kitchen and living room, perfect for family entertainment. There is a TV in every room: the family room has Cable TV, and the bedrooms TVs have Roku to stream all your favorite shows, movies and channels. The kitchen has four island stools, a small two-seater table, and a coffee table that lifts up to enjoy all of your meals with space for everyone. We’re even pet friendly!
Located within walking distance to Memorial Park where you’ll find a public boat ramp, playground, and the location for viewing our world famous Chincoteague Island Pony Swim. We’re located even closer to the Chincoteague Fireman’s Carnival Grounds! Only a quick three mile drive or bike ride to the Assateague Island Wildlife Refuge, home of the famous wild ponies, and Assateague Island National Seashore. Enjoy the pristine beaches and soak up that Vitamin Sea!
After a day at the beach, come home to a refreshing outdoor shower and a picnic on our outdoor picnic tables. There is a charcoal grill outside for your use - just remember to take all safety precautions! Enjoy your evening snuggled up on the couch watching a movie, hanging by the backyard fire pit, or unwinding with a good book on the front porch. After a few days at the beach experiencing Chincoteague's small town southern charm, along with the abundance of family fun activities, you'll be sure to take home some much needed Vitamin Sea!

This home was perfect for our long weekend stay!

My sister and my two daughters spent 3 days in this beautiful home (along with my two 4-legged babies) and it was absolutely perfect for us! Plenty of room, the front sunroom was perfect and the dogs loved the spacious back yard!

Our Vitamin Sea Vacation

The was very clean. We also were pleased it was pet friendly. The location is good. We have stayed at a property very close to Vitamin Sea. We liked the quite location. We would stay here again.

This is our 2nd year staying here, and we had a wonderful time. The property is very family friendly, and we appreciated use of the backyard and fire pit. It is a short drive from the beach and other attractions.

Lovely stay

Vitamin sea has everything you need and more. Great location, clean and comfortable amenities, easy check in process. We especially enjoyed the fire pit.

Vitamin Sea was just what we needed!

Loved this gem of a house! It's clearly been updated somewhat recently and done with tremendous care. It's beautifully decorated, yet comfortable and beachy, so you don't have to worry about sandy feet, for example. The beds and pillows were all extremely comfortable, the front porch was lovely (and a good view of all the fireworks), and the place was impeccably clean.

Cute little beach house

This place has everything you need, screened in porch, charcoal grill, outdoor fire pit, and a nice kitchen. We stayed at many places on the island and this home ranks up at the top. Beautiful home on a beautiful island.

Cute and cozy

Me and my family enjoyed our stay at vitamin sea! The property is well maintained and conveniently located near downtown and just a short distance to the beach. We were also able to bring our dog which was a major plus! Loved the fire pit which was a great place to relax and roast marshmallows at the end of the day.

Chincoteague Beach vacation

Very quaint cozy home located in quiet area. Close to main street Maddox and festival grounds. Can ride bike anywhere including assateague easily and safely. Had a great time with family. Fire pit and outside shower very handy. Great place to relax.

Vitamin Sea

A very nice beach cottage that met our needs and expectations. The decor was cheerful, colorful and fresh. The house was very clean and comfortable, and the location convenient. We especially enjoyed sitting on the front screened-in porch in the evening.

Charming Chincoteague Cottage

Beautifully decorated and provisions for a wonderful stay. This home was spotless. Chincoteague is a lovely place to enjoy being with family, friends, pups. The ponies, beaches and everything in between, just perfect. We got to see ponies at Chincoteague parks and at the northern entrance at Assateague. It was a wonderful week. Thank you for making it a perfect vacation!!

Lovely Beach Cottage

This is a small beautiful cottage on a quiet Chincoteague street. Our family has vacationed here for my whole life and I love everything about the islands. The house itself is immaculate and beautifully decorated. Not so much that you can’t enjoy it all though. The fire pit and outdoor shower were unexpected but sooo enjoyed! Baby goats next door were the icing on the cake for a long weekend filled with sun, sand, laughter, and lifelong friends.

Perfect Getaway

Our family of 4 went to Chincoteague for Labor Day weekend. Reviewers said house was small, so expectations were set. However, bedrooms were well sized and kitchen/living room was small, but not tiny. Great outdoor space with a screened in front porch. Backyard has a picnic table and fire pit with chairs. Neighbors have goats, which amused the kids and dog. Great location. Easy walk down to Main St for shopping and restaurants. We brought our Tesla, and there is a Blink charging station, 4 spots, half a mile from the house.

Overall very nice place just a few small complaints

Property was clean and very cute. Our biggest complaint is that the line service was terrible. For $75 the sheets were very poor quality and weren’t even on the beds when we got there. The TVs were a bit frustrating to figure out and we didn’t realize that we would only be able to use them signing into our own Netflix accounts. It would also be nice to have some kind of hose or something outside for rinsing off sand. The kitchen was pretty well equips except for a few things like a sponge or something for cleaning dishes

A winner!

This was our first time bringing our dog to the island. Vitamin Sea was a great fit for our family. I was worried about the living space being a bit small, and one more comfortable chair to accompany the couch would have been nice. I recommend removing the tiny table and 2 chairs and replacing them with a loveseat or easy chair. While staying at the cottage we rarely all ate at the same time, so staggered use of the bar stools was ok, along with the seating around the fire pit. The 3 bedrooms are comfortable and arranged to provide a good amount of privacy and personal space to retreat to as needed. We found this home to be very well stocked with items such as TP, paper towels, dish detergent, laundry soap, etc. It's nice to not have to run to the store for these basics the day of arrival, so we are appreciative. The house is in excellent condition with fun ocean themed and pony decor done tastefully. The location on Bunting is great as we could get to the dog park in 7 minutes, Assateague Island in about 10 minutes, and most everything else in even less time. Willoughby is a mini schnauzer mix and he weighs 40 pounds. He made friends with the goats next door and it was quite comical to see them interacting, with all the stubby tails wagging happily! One problem we encountered during our stay is that the mosquitos were abundant. This is a long time issue on the island, but it seemed worse than other years. Our enjoyment of the back yard was limited because of this.

A pleasant if barebones accommodation

We had a very nice time at the Vitamin Sea house. The location is convenient to the beach and walking trails, as well as restaurants and attractions in town. But it’s on a quiet residential street so we felt we had peace and quiet and privacy. The backyard fire pit and grill are great features. The beds were comfy and the fridge and freezer were spacious. We were able to sign in to Hulu using the Roku. The front porch is a perfect place to enjoy morning coffee while listening to the breeze and birdsong. Communication around the stay was very good and we appreciated that the host made an exception to allow us to stay only 2 nights instead of 3. We were disappointed that basic linens would incur an additional fee but we brought our own without incident. We also would have appreciated a few more amenities, such as salt and pepper, cooking oil, and K-cups (there is no coffee maker, just a keurig but cups not provided), and soap or body wash in the showers. The layout of the living room area made it difficult for four adults to eat a meal together at the table without having to move furniture.
